As much as I hate trio relationship, this story was so f**k up I was into it. Hiroi is a creepy looking guy who likes to share everything with his best friend Take. Including relationships. So when Mine starts to date Hiroi, is either accepting Take or bye-bye. In spite of not liking Take, Mine accepts. So their relationship is Hiroi and Mine kissing and cuddling together, but during sex time, is Take taking Mine while Mine sucks Hiroi. Other than that, Take and Mine glare coldy at each other.
Slowly, Take starts to like Mine, and Mine... well, besides having the most pleasure with Take, starts disliking him "less". They even kiss from time to time. Truthfully, I really wished Hiroi was out of the picture. Not only his "cute" looks are creepy, but his tendency to share his lover is beyodnd f**k-up! I was more invested in Mine and Take relationship, but alas, Mine loves the weirdo and Take knows that if Hiroi is not in the picture, even himself (Take) would lose interest.
So yeah, a f**d-up relationship, not a love one at all, but I could not stop reading it (>o<) Not even the characters are likeable. Honesty, I am not even sure how I finished it or why I am rating it 3, but that's it.
I really liked this manga, as a yaoi. But I'm kinda confused as to whether I like the characters, and their unabashedly weird relationship. On their own I like all the characters, even when they are just paired off. Hiroi x Mine, or Hiroi x Take, and even Mine x Take. But when all three of them get together, it becomes weird. I honestly don't know who to root for, because they are all hurting, with only half of their feelings for each other being returned. I wanted there to be a clear pair to pick, that the readers of this manga could freely say, "Oh I want them to be together," but I cant even decide that for myself. I like it but I am very confused. Probably because they are all perfect representations of how guys are. Oh well, hopefully there is more, so that readers are able to glean a little more clarity.
This is the first yaoi, that really commit to a threesome relationship. Choco, Strawberry, Vanilla is original in this sense and I am excited for more if there is any.

This story is unusual for ReiJin magazine. It's an interesting view on polyamory. Unfortunately, there is not enough of a story for it to be truly memorable. Art is OK, not amazingly good. Smut galore, but again, no real gems to talk about.
That was delicious. I am so glad I decided to read this. I'm not one to read threesome stories, but this one was DELISH. The relationship between the three MCs is not one of love per se, but it is addicting to watch unfold as the chapters progress. Abusive at times, tender at others, twisted throughout.
I totally get Hiroi's need to "share" his things with his best friend Take, although I can understand why other people don't. That's actually the most fascinating part of this story, the relationship between Hiroi and Take. How they see themselves and how they see themselves fitting into the world and WHY this sort of relationship and behavior for them is natural. Also like parasitic or even conjoined twins, except in verse. They almost share one mind while inhabiting two bodies and somehow navigating through life in this manner. For them, "what's yours is mine and what's mine is yours and you are me and I am you" is just their perpetual state of being.
Mine is also a strangely complex character, namely for being able to not only put up with this bizarre relationship, but also for eventually finding his own rhythm in it -- one which he even finds to "dislike less" than he once did (which is actually his tsundere self saying he's lovin' it, freak that he be, bless his soul. <3)
Such great storytelling without getting into too much. Letting us see into each character's mindset, getting to know their very different, but also similar personalities. Seeing how important each one is in different ways and just... UGHHH
This was good. This was SO. GOOD.
All the stars. ALL OF THEM.
Delico Psyche you haven't failed me yet. Another great job!!
PS - For those of you planning to or already giving this a one star rating b/c you were looking for some sappy lovey-dovey shit, go elsewhere. This story has a HEA ending of sorts, but it's not all roses and butterflies and puppy dog tails. There's a reason it's called "CHOCO STRAWBERRY VANILLA." Choco = sadomasochist, Strawberry = Sadist, Vanilla = Masochist. I'll let you all decide who's who in this savagely beautiful throuple.
I've read a couple of threesome stories recently (courtesy of wanting to try something new out), but I just couldn't get into that dynamic. Then this came along. This was the first story I read by Delico Psyche and I really enjoyed it!
The story follows two best friends named Take and Hiroi. Whenever Hiroi finds something that he likes, he always shares with Take, and as they come to grow up, this includes people. Because of this unique quirk, finding a partner is always difficult, as "normal" people find this strange. Not only that, but their partner usually ends up preferring Take between the two, destroying the whole dynamic. All of this changes when Hiroi decides to date Mine, a classmate that he hadn't seen in a long time. Even though Mine finds the setup strange, his love for Hiroi is so great he decides to endure being in this threesome
I just really enjoyed seeing the development of this trio!! You would think that because Take and Hiroi have always shared things and people, there wouldn't be conflict between them but it's actually the opposite. Hiroi has feelings of jealousy, of being overshadowed and preferred by their partners and seems to push at both Take and Mine to see how far he can distance himself from them and damn, it's SO HEARTBREAKING. But exactly like him, Take pushes Mine to see how much he can get away with "stealing". It's like he's testing Mine's feelings for Hiroi, which in turn tests his own interest. And instead of breaking up (any of them), it seems this pushing and pulling ties them even closer together
No lie, I like a rougher top so I liked Take more than Hiroi, who is much softer and cheerful
We also get to see them age together. Not by a lot, but by a few years. I honestly would devour another volume of these three!!
I'm a loser for smutty stuff and I loved this so much. tbh it was the most memorable threesome manga I have ever seen and I have weird taste in manga. Also it's pretty cool to see a short and feminine guy as a " top/seme ". The story was pretty original and it was interesting to see something different, I read this from start to finish and thought it was great but wished they made another volume because ending it there was pretty unsatisfying. The two " seme/top " dudes, Hiroi and Take, were very interesting characters who always shared everything together... I've never seen anything like that before but I thought it was cute.
I found it cute ( no really, let me admit it was hot because of the smut ) but I don't think most people would enjoy this manga because of the threesome and weird characters. FYI, this is not what a real polyamorous relationship is so don't get the wrong idea because the characters are obviously showing jealousy towards each other ( which isn't normal ). True polyamorous relationships contain consent and everyone equally likes each other, which makes it a healthy relationship.
A throuple manga because one of the seme needs to share his interests and this whole story is surrounding that selfish intention and adjusting to the love.
I like how Take-kun is trying to want things for himself but in the end it didn't end up that way? I wish the story could have continued but it gave what it gave and I'm still pleased with it. The smut scenes are 5/5, I'd reread just for that.
Tapi lama-kelamaan, seiring perkembangan cerita, saya pikir Take juga 11-12 sama menyimpangnya. Wkwk. Emang kalo dibandingin Hiroi, sikap menyimpangnya Take gak terlalu keliatan, tapi sikap selalu-menerima-apa-apa-pemberian-Hiroi di diri Take juga sebetulnya gak wajar lho. Ya, masa' nrimo-nrimo aja dikasih "separo" pacar sahabat karibnya sendiri?? Gila.
Tapi endingnya mereka tetep bertiga sih. Woooohoooooo luar biyasaaaa!!! Mine maruk(???)! Minta separo dari Hiroi dan Take sekaligus! /gakgituwoi
I feel like I need to explain why I gave this one star. It's not because it's almost a polycule (three guys) or the unclear relationship two MCs have. Actually, I like that. More gay-poly, please! Rather, the story feels underdeveloped, very repetitive and ends abruptly. The drawing style is okay. But what may have been two or three stars went down to one because the bottom in this polycule clearly expresses his wishes and the other two ignore it:
- he loves only one of them, only wants to be with him and only wants to have sex with him, yet he is forced into a polycule/threesome because if he doesn't, he doesn't get to be with the guy he loves --> my guys, that is coerceion and abuse - he several times says "No" or "Stop" and they don't listen or stop, thus you get spicy scenes in theory that in actuallity are rape - the two guys not in a romantic relationship within this polycule don't actually resolve their issues, which is not to say that they also have to love each other but damn, they should at least openly talk about their feelings
Yes to gay poly/threesome! No to rape, bad/no communication and abuse!

I think this is the best manga I've read discussing the topic of polyamory. Yes, it is very hot, beautifully drawn but it also dives into more serious topics.
I really liked this one from the very first time I read it. It's not like everyone can intricately escalate an unconventional dynamic such as this. As our world gets more open with different kinds of relationships, I don't know but it's hard to really find someone who can be comfortable with the idea of being in an open relationship. Maybe it's just on my end, but it's really hard. It's not like everyone have a wide understanding of things. It's actually good that the three characters came to a tacit understanding that they're all bound by each other mostly because of Take and Hiroi's friendship. This is good. Though it wasn't really consented at first by Mine, they actually all compromised. It's good.
