Caitlin James and Josephine Greenwood have been happily in love and committed to each other for over a year. Josephine has shed her insecurities and her musical star is on the rise, while Caitlin hosts her own television show under the supervision of a new intriguing boss.
When Josephine starts the conversation about opening up their relationship, Caitlin is faced with a shift in the power balance between them. Together, they embark on a sometimes scary but always thrilling journey to discover who they both truly are.
Can Caitlin still practice what she has always preached? And will Jo be able to find her own way in their unconventional relationship?

Miss Bliss, you are truly a mad genius. The way you prepared this couple to a new phase in their relationship, is really something². And Angela Dawe narrating the bonus features can only be described as, holy clit-battering hell.
I've read a few books on couples discussing the topic of open relationship and this by far, one of the best. I didn't listen to Everything Between Us - the couple's first book but after this sequel, I'm curious to know how they started.
Well that was no ordinary romance novel but that's because Harper Bliss went above and beyond. I honestly did not expect the storyline to be as intense while being so utterly romantic.
Before you read this book I urge all readers to start with Book 3 in the Pink Bean Series called, Everything Between Us which is the prequel (or maybe this is the sequel) to Love Without Limits (heck start from book 1 if you haven't already read this series... it really is a must read series).
This book continues Caitlyn and Josephines unconventional love story. Caitlyn does not believe in monogamy and has spent her life lecturing against it. Meeting Josephine doesn't change who Caitlyn is but makes her evolve in other areas within their relationship. Ultimately Josephine is her soul mate but that doesn't mean she is willing to become completely monogamous, but she also can't bare to loose Josephine. This book picks up from the moment the couple start the discussion of how to be open sexually in their relationship while ultimately not ruining what they already have.
It's funny, when Harper sent me this book for review, I wrote back and said I would probably get round to it at the weekend. I didn't even last two hours before I put my current read down and devoured it in one sitting. It was just that good.
This book literally left me in awe for a great many reasons. I, myself believe that sex is pretty fluid and I don't think monogamy is for everyone. As long as everyone in the open relationship is on board then why the hell not! This book went a step further for me, giving me pause for other ideas when including other people in your relationship, be it separately or together. Its not everyday that a book teaches you new things about your own sexuality but this definitely did... you're probably wondering what I am actually talking about but hey, you don't want me to spoil the deliciously sexy plot so hopefully I have left enough of an intrigue to whet your appetite.
I must say that I wasn't Caitlyn's biggest fan in Everything Between Us (Book 3) and as the series has went on I've warmed to her but in this book I saw a side to her I hadn't yet been privy to. I think it was because it was written solely from her point of view. The Caitlyn in this novel can get hurt, she has real emotions especially when is comes to Josephine and it's obvious what she does feel for her is nothing she has ever experienced before.
Also Josephine really came into her own in this novel and she has been slowly beginning to show more of her confidence but truly I have never seen a more confident Josephine until this book. She blew me away while leaving me wanting more of her. We almost did't need her point of view in this book because when she's with Caitlyn and her close friends, she wears her heart and emotions on her sleeve. The love, support and trust these two protagonists have should be what every couple should strive for because it is what real life fairy tales are made of.
Lastly... The sex scenes. WOW!!! This book has to go down as one of my top ten of sexiest sex scenes I have ever read. There are three major sex scenes in the novel, each one different and more sexier than the last. I can't even tell you how much of a turn on it was to watch Josephine and Caitlyn tackle these new sexual situations and come out the other side even more in love. I mean, the sexual dynamic between these two for a start surprised me... I was not expecting Josephine to be the one leading and ultimately going for what she wanted. It was unbelievably sexy and probably my favourite sex scenes that Harper has ever written to date. Just Wow!
This unconventional romance is nothing short of exceptional. 5 stars.
With all the warnings that come with this story I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. In one sense, I think the hype is over inflated and might scare a few readers off who would actually enjoy the story.
Given Josephine is one of my favorite characters in this series, she made this instalment shine. Although the story is told in first person, present tense, and entirely from Caitlin's point-of-view, I've never connected with her character, and I can't for the life of me put my finger on why.
Moving on, I love that Harper addressed an often misunderstood topic, non-monogamy. The sex scenes, two only, were delicious. For me, the threesome was more arousing than the foursome. Jo's excitement was palpable. I wanted to be Jo. ;)
This is the 7th book of the Pink Bean series and it's closely connected to the 3rd, so if you're thinking of skipping the earlier books, I would suggest at least reading the 3rd first. What is interesting about Jo and Caitlyn's relationship is that Caitlyn is a practitioner of ethical non-monogomy and while they hadn't opened up their relationship yet in the earlier book, they appear more ready to do so now.
I would totally recommend anyone who is open to the topic of non-monogamy to give this book a go because I really thought it was quite well-written. Caitlyn wasn't pushy about it and in fact, it was Jo who first brought the topic up and there was plenty of open communication between the couple on this. I thought things happened pretty organically so it quite an enjoyable and good read.
Love Without Limits (book 7 in the Pink Bean Series) revisits couple Caitlin James and Josephine (Jo) Greenwood from book 3 Everything Between Us. I would have known that if it wasn’t for the weird-ass way I go about reading this series all out of order. So yeah, didn’t read book 3 yet. But Harper Bliss is kind enough to write them mostly stand alone so it still worked for me.
With Caitlin being the godmother of non-monogamous relationships, it only seems natural for her to explore if her relationship with Jo is ready to take it to the next level. Jo has evolved a lot since book 3 and doesn’t nix the idea right off the bat. Leave it to Bliss to take a tough subject and let it shine. Her threesomes (and this one even has a foursome!) are sexy as hell. She will make you a believer even if an open relationship isn’t your cup of tea.
Narrator Angela Dawe is the perfect choice for this adventure. Her voice is like sex on a stick!
The whole Pink Bean series is available on Scribd.
f/f, f/f/f, f/f/f/f yes that’s a lot of f’s but trust Bliss to make it work
Themes: every time I read Harper Bliss I’m blown away by this author, she is in a league of her own.
I was pleasantly surprised by this one. I can understand non-monogomy from an outsider's point of view. I've known people who were in open relationships and I intellectually know it genuinely works for some even if it's not for me. I get it. That said, I didn't know how comfortable I would be reading about non-monogomy with Jo as one of the main characters of said relationship. Getting to know her (and be in her head) in book 3 of this series, I couldn't wrap my own head around how she would move from an insecure woman with major body issues into a self-assured woman who was comfortable in an open relationship. I wasn't sure I could be convinced of the sincerity of such a premise. All I know is that after reading this, I should really remember that Harper Bliss never fails to surprise me. Her books have handle so many subjects (depression, body issues, alcoholism, infidelity, on and on and on) with such care, and so much thought, that I really shouldn't have felt trepidation in regards to how she would handle an open relationship, either. This was written from Caitlin's first person POV, though, and I really would have liked a glimpse into Jo's thoughts, too, since she's the one we've spent more time with over the course of the Pink Bean series. While this isn't my favorite Bliss book, I'd still recommend it.
Wow wow wow...I am speechless. I might have to correct myself this couple is certainly a true force of nature. What a gratifying read this was. Definitely a rather unconventional topic and yet it's getting more and more a relationship model that seems to surround me more and more IRL. Definitely enjoyed following their journey into discovering their path into a non-monogamous relationship that worked for them. This is going into my reread pile for sure.
This book is the 7th in the Pink Bean Series but it also works just fine as a stand alone book. The series can really be read in any order.
This book is Caitlin and Jo’s story set about a year and a half after they became a couple. I feel like a disclaimer is needed so I am going to add one: HOLY HEAVENS this book is HOT, HOT, HOT! If you know of Harper Bliss you know she writes well written, powerful and strong books about strong and amazing women, even the most ordinary woman becomes special under Harpers pen. Her books always have plenty of loving, erotic moments but I am sure this is the hottest of the series.
In this story Caitlin and Jo open up their relationship to not only one other but two at the same time!! Yeah, after all the time that has passed since I read it I still get twitchy… Ahem… moving on…. Other things that happen in this story include Jo’s busy schedule and how it affects their relationship, Caitlin meets her new boss and Jo and Caitlin spend a weekend with Jo’s family. Oh, I cannot forget that Caitlin ACTUALLY gets jealous when a fan gets too close to HER woman!!! (I totally love that!!) There is also talk about a biological clock….
If that is not enough to get you to read this tale then I just do not know what you want (assuming of course you re looking at this knowing it’s a lesbian book and that’s what you want to read) but PLEASE let me know, I truly mean that! Now if you will excuse me, I think I will go read it again!!
I was thrilled to get another book with Jo and Caitlin because not only did I love their first book together, but it’s been clear in the other books since their debut that their relationship is ready for a shake-up. Jo has truly blossomed from who she was in Everything Between Us (which was really her book, as it was told in the first person from her perspective), and is very secure in both who she is and her relationship with Caitlin. And while Caitlin is the same bold, confident woman we first met, we also see a more vulnerable side to her as she realizes she needs more time than Jo can offer while working three jobs. I loved that Bliss flipped the perspective in Love Without Limits, so that it’s told in the first person by Caitlin, letting us see what she goes through as she navigates needing more from Jo and also their first forays into opening up their relationship.
Love Without Limits came with some warnings, but it wasn’t what I expected. This volume explores Caitlyn and Jo’s relationship and nonmonogamy. In the beginning, Jo has questions and fears; she tells Caitlyn that she’s waiting for the shoe to drop. Caitlyn allays her fears and the book goes from there. Some of the book deals with Caitlyn’s soul-searching, and the entire book is from Caitlyn’s perspective.
This is not really a romance, nor really erotica, although there is both. Caitlyn and Jo do build their relationship and express their love for one another. There are two erotic scenes, which are steamy and well-written, of course, but there are also scenes with Jo’s family that spur Caitlyn’s thoughts about her own family.
It’s a provocative novel, in that it made me engage with the subject of nonmonogamy. How Caitlyn responds to seeing her lover having sex with another woman was eye-opening. It would be interesting to get a feel for how Jo felt during their trysts with the other women. Seeing it through Caitlyn’s eyes is not the same. Anyway, this is a well written book that deals with open relationships, lovers, friends and change. I enjoyed it even though it was a bit uncomfortable. I liked the emotional growth and seeing Jo develop, even if it was through Caitlyn’s eyes. I’m not sure I’ll reread it, but it was definitely worth reading.
This seventh book, continuation of the third in the series is by far the best one. Why because you have tackled a hard subject here. One that society is taught by many ways, especially by religion to be unacceptable. Me I say to them is mind your business. No one should tell you what "WILL" make you happy. Monogamy should be chosen not forced. I love love love that you found Jo a Caitlin to help her open up and be who she needed to be and fill her with real love. I am happy and so enjoyed reading Caitlin finding Jo to feel true love and understanding and acceptance, a soul mate. I also loved that Sheryl is one true friend to Caitlin. Some of us only wishes we can come across a true friendship like that one. And I also love love love Harper Bliss for bringing us this series and all the different subjects they bring enlightening my ignorance in the lives of the Pink Bean ladies.👜👠👛💄💜
I read the Pink Bean series a few years ago. This book stood out a bit because it was not about finding a new love. It's about Caitlin and Jo who met in a previous book in this series and are now exploring to open up their relationship. This time I listend to the audiobook. The narrator's husky and sultry voice made this story even hotter than I remembered. 4+⭐️
This one had too much sex in it for me. It wasn't poorly written, and it's a good entry in the series, but it has made me realize what I prefer in my lesfic romance books. I like a slow burn and a bit less sex.
I’m a big fan of polyamory, and although this book was mostly just multiple partners at the same time instead of actual polyamory, I still liked it a lot. Very hot🔥.
Does include a lesbian 3sum and 4sum, if that’s your thing 😜

What didn’t have limit was my patience listening this. Omg that was awful. And I have no problems with the topic, it quite interests me, but the book is so bad I gave up. It is too much no sense or I was not ready for it.
My rating is a reflection of how well I think a serious issue has been tackled in this book. I appreciate the effort put into writing something so different and probably unconventional so well. Didn't like the story much but I liked the honest writing.
Jo is one of my favourite characters in the pink bean series! Witnessing her transformation, from when she was first introduced to now as been a pleasure. Harper Bliss is easily one of my favourites! Over the course of the pink bean series, it hasn't felt as if I was reading a book. I could easily picture the surrounding, and felt as if I was part of the events whilst they evolved.
Pink Bean series 7, continues the store of Catalyin and Jo. They're relationship has been going from strength to strength, they continue to learn, teach and open up to each other. What amazes me the most about their relationship, is how far both characters have come along. I didn't think Catlyin and Jo's relationship would survive, but here they are a year and a few months later. During love without limits, a new bond of trust is formed between Jo and Catlyin; which see's Jo exploring opportunities of opening up their relationship with other people, as well as finding the time to spend more quality time with Cat. Series 7 shows a more sensitive side to Catlyin, which I didn't expect.
It's hard to write a review without giving too much away, in that case all I can say is you don't want to miss this installment. I literally couldn't put it down, can't wait for the next installment in the summer.
Whew! That was steamy! And so deliciously good! The main sub-theme in this Pink Bean book is non-monogamy... finally! Jo and Kaitlyn do a lot of talking about opening up their relationship, and about putting rules into effect, and communicating, and being honest, respectful, and more; all of which are minimum requirements for any successful open relationship. But, now that everyone's being honest, I'll admit that I wanted a bit more from the non-monogamy talk; it was all about sexy group non-monogamy sessions, not having multiple relationships\partners individually over a period of time. While I love all of the characters and usually feel more depth in Bliss's work, the exploration of non-monogamy felt rather shallow. But, the sexy sexy times in this book (which include a threesome and a foursome, with various sized\colored bodies\experience levels) are the best part. Super hot! I also enjoyed meeting and getting to know some of the tertiary characters in this one.
So much had been made about respect, honest and communication throughout that I couldn’t understand why it was ultimately OK to withhold critical information in the final sexual play. Especially as this made an incredibly unequal dynamic with three people knowing something about the situation that one, the younger and more inexperienced one, did not.
I’m not a Caitlin James fan, so it doesn’t help when you don’t like the MC, but as usual I’d been enjoying the way Harper Bliss explores different kind of relationship and taking me into different ways of seeing the word. So this (to me) double standard, where open, honest communication and respect for your partner gets elbowed aside by the prospect of a mind blowing orgasm undercut and complicated the earlier messaging about open relationships for me leaving me a bit uncomfortable with it and a lot less forgiving about it than Jo. I felt like Harper Bliss has written about this topic better in some of her other work. And I’m still not a Caitlin James fan!

I thought the first book with Caitlin and Jo was my favorite, but this one is by far my favorite of the two! They're the best couple in the pink bean series in my opinion and I love the first person style. I absolutely enjoyed jealous Caitlin. And OMG, the sex! Whew, I needed a cold shower after that one! I was worried at first when I read that not everyone may like this one, but that couldn't be farther from the truth for me. Without a doubt, my favorite Harper Bliss book so far! Thank you for this story! I really hope this isn't the last we see of Caitlin and Jo!
First I have to be honest and say that this book took me to a place mentally that I’ve wondered about a time or two. I actually finished reading the book over a week ago. I have been trying to come up with a nice summary of this book. However, this is proving to be difficult for me.
It’s not because I didn’t enjoy the book because I did. This book has caused me to reflect in a way that I’m not sure that I can say out loud at the moment.
Overall Harper, good read. I can’t wait for part two because I know it’s coming.
Love Without Limits is the second instalment of the Josephine and Caitlin love story from the Pink Bean series by Harper Bliss. It goes deeper in detail to understanding non-monogamous relationships.
The narrative of this story tests Jo and Caitlin's relationship. It also explores a relationship deeper into it's duration and not just at the formation of the relationship.
I’m beginning to think Harper Bliss’s Pink Bean series is so much more than just entertainment. I find myself learning and opening up the way I think about things the more I read about these lesbians’ lives. She goes about writing it in a way that is so entertaining that I don’t even feel the walls of my prejudices crumble, but I come out the other end always a bit more open to other people’s struggles and ways of living. I almost want to reread the longest series I’ve ever attempted just for this revelation alone.
I was surprised by this story; I am a fan of Ms. Bliss and her previous books have been about monogamous lesbian couples.
Although I am n a monogamous marriage, and have no desire to venture outside of t, I found the sex scenes to be extremely hot. I was a little but disappointed by the foursome, in that I think she ended it too soon.
I am really eager to read the next book in The Pink Bean series.
As two strong women leading the focus of this "Pink Bean" series book, Caitlyn and Josephine embark on their unconventional relationship. Jo must come to terms with who Caitlyn is and what they are headed for in the future, non-monogamy. Their journey will be sometimes scary, but always thrilling, as they discover who they are where they are headed. Put this book on your must read list and travel with them.
Harper did a great job with a subject some readers would have a problem with. Jo and Caitlin moving towards an open relationship..and for Jo a way to be comfortable with her real self yet still feeling secure within Caitlin’s love. Will be interesting to read PB8 and see if Jessica and Katherine show up at some point.
Harper Bliss is an expert at writing about taboo topics
I've read the entire Pink Bean series and this book definitely tackled the taboo topic of non-monogamous/open relationships. Harper Bliss is an expert at these type of sensitive topics and Love Without Limits soars at her helm. Give this book a try, you won't be disappointed.
