I really enjoyed this. Fascinating characters with interesting back stories populate the small village in rural England where they must survive zombies, aliens, and tricksters. I already got the second book and look forward to seeing what's going on with PC Rodwell. Slight cliff-hanger ending for this book one, but still satisfying as a standalone. Flawless writing, a bit of humor, plenty of action and gore, vivid descriptions without overdoing it. Recommended!

Just Awful

Hard to read since the action jumped from scene to scene on the same page. The premise was overwrought. Not just aliens, but zombie I we aliens. Not just zombies, but warring factions of zombies. Then throw in a policeman who attracts crime.

Don't waste your time.
