A woman with a bloody legacy. Her three vampire lovers. An ancient evil.
When Elara Wood wakes up in a house of strangers—gentle Allen, sultry Scarlett, and Finn, the once-fae protector—she’s forced to accept a new diet, a new set of instincts, and a new life. Vampires are real, and after a violent attack, Elara has been turned.
As she recovers with the help and touch of her new friends, a long-dead house of vampires is reviving, and they want something of hers. Elara’s family is harbouring secrets, a weapon that can kill even the oldest of vampires, and a deadly enemy who has Elara in their sights. Can her new lovers protect her?
Vampire Game is the first book in a new reverse harem paranormal romance series. Expect sexy scenes, supernatural dangers, and tender romance. Welcome to the Blood Bay.
Leigh Kelsey is the author of romance and reverse harem books for anyone with a soft spot for steely women and the tortured men who love them. No matter what stories she's writing - vampires or shifters or bad boys - they all share a common thread of love, heart, and action. She is the author of the Lili Kazana series, the Moonlight Inn series, the Dead Space stand alone, and the Blacktower Prison for Supernaturals series, plus many more books.
I felt like it was really fast paced and could've used a little more character/plot development. What we did learn was pretty interesting as far as the supernatural world in the book, the references to Dracula was nice too. I did love the heroine. Elara is feisty and realistic, she doesn't just take everything at face value and is perfectly willing to ask questions and fight. The love interests are all unique individuals and I loved that there was more than one female in this harem, this is only the second time I've seen a reverse harem with more than one female and I appreciated the representation and uniqueness of it. I'm looking forward to the next book and seeing how the authors writing might improve.
Fast burn is definitely an understatement for this one; it definitely could’ve spanned over more than a week’s time. It’s a cute little quick read for sure, and I respect the author’s connection to classic vampire stories and lore.
I did see a lot of comments complaining about the F|F smut, which I kept at the back of my mind while reading it, and came to the conclusion that those commenters are either homophobic whiteout saying it or jealous that they aren’t getting snizz on the reg. It’s a vampire romance; expect literally everything.
Favorite quote: All the derision of a house cat with the fatal danger of a jaguar.
This book was a bit too insta-love for me. Elara and 2 of the vampires that take her in all fall in love with each other within 1 day of meeting each other, very Disney princess of them lol The third vampire, Finn without even meeting her "wants her" just by hearing about her though 2 phone conversations. I like a little more build-up to group dynamics.
I did enjoy the new take on vampires and the disconnect between their emotions, voices, and bodies and how it takee time to reestablish those connections. I haven't heard that before so it did make it interesting. Also totally did not see the Van Helsing part coming 😆

Elana , the main character, is forcibly turned into a vampire and 3other vampires find her and take her in. As she gets used to being a vampire, she finds that touch and affection play a big role in her new life, and she gets closer to her new 3 roommates. The story has some surprises and action. Their is f\f and some m\m, as well as f\m. You could relate to the character.
Look, if you’ve read one, you’ve read them all. FMC is a crybaby and makes impulsive decisions that put her and others in danger. Smut was average. FF and MM, no group scenes. Being predictable is fine because we all just want to settle in with a mind numbing read every once in a while. It’s a two star, but that doesn’t mean it’s bad. Its an easy read. No cheating or OWD or pregnancy.
The action starts right away. This is a fast-paced, sensual and sexual read. FF and mfm so hopefully you're open-minded to both options. Polygamous relationship. Vampires are the main theme but far, witches and shifters are mentioned and come up throughout.
*Spoiler Alert* After being murdered Elara (FMC) wakes up into a new world as a Vampire. With all the complications that brings with it but she manages to get help from 3 Vampires - Scarlett, Allen and Finn. All trying to find out who killed her and keep her safe. Face-paced and steamy as hell!!. Both with F/M and F/F. A hot read and a great start to this series.
Super fast paced, a few sexy scenes and quick action make this book a fast and interesting read. This book contains lots of good back story, interesting plot building for further books and a few twists of fate. Overall this book stands as a perfect vampire fix when needing something interesting, hot and fast!
This is definitely a fantasy romance book for the LGBT community,I really enjoyed this book very light quick read with it being 114 pages, 2 mild spice scenes, the story line was great and great character development, I liked each character which was a first. I love the fact it’s an British author and I’m excited to read her other books
The action starts right away. This is a fast-paced, sensual and sexual read. FF and mfm so hopefully you're open-minded to both options. Polygamous relationship. Vampires are the main theme but far, witches and shifters are mentioned and come up throughout It is a very short book. Like 104 pages. Which it was longer by it does leave you wanting more 😊
This was a good quick read, I was sucked in right away and got a few surprises. But toward the end it felt too predictable. Even so I still enjoyed it and will continue reading the series to see what happens.
This first book is a very quick read which moves fast. I was hoping for more character development. I would like to learn more about them and see how the relationships evolve.
WOW 🤩 This was a great start to this story. Fast paced, able to read on one night Can't wait to start the next book. I love ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 anything paranormal Definitely recommend this book 📕
This book is amazing! Fast paced and well written I could t out it down I needed to know what was going to happen this is going to be a phenomenal series🥰😍🥰😍🥰
I liked the beginning of the book. But then it got to the last 2-3 chapters and I feel like it was just rushed through. I know it’s a short book. But I didn’t care for the ending. 🤷🏼♀️
