I love this series and I really loved this short story. I desperately want more of Evan and Raine's story. This story had lots of intrigue and plenty of heat. Perfect read for a cold winter night!!!

Ok so i am really madly and truly in love with the whole Immortals series from Kym Grosso so after finishing it and Hearing her speak on some vid'S on Facebook About her other series i thought sure different but i'll give it a try considering i read many different typs of books and authors i didnt mind that ist compleatly different from the immortals series but i was somewhat dissepointed. Don't get me wrong the Story is intresting the caracters are well thought out but in my opinion the storyline has some flows granted you'd likely not notice untill you read all the books that are out so far but in my opinion some Things just dont add up. I'll just give one exsample to not spoil it for those who are still reading or want to read the books……. in the prequil Even is taken and beaten then stuck with something while being told he will have a skdiving accident the next day. Now this book starts with that accident and his friend never believing it was an accident but claiming his friend gave no signs that anything was off so for one i would Thing as he was being slapped around he would Show bruising or other inguries the next day and why the hell would he jump if he knw he was ment to die sure they could have something on him but again there should have been signs of his capture in my book that just doesnt sit Right and if they used someone else id assume his Friends would have noticed it wasnt him all very Stange well i sure hope that t some Point These strange issues get sorted there are more but as i said no Need to ruen the books for others. Now if i leave away the Things that to my mind just dont meke sense the books are good not something i'D want to reread but good enough that i'll defnatly pick up the next one to come out. i do have to say i liked the main books Carnal Risk and wicked rush better then the two Shorts they just seemed much better thought out. I do think the clube sceans are to few and mostly to tame for my taste but wicked rush did have a nice menage sceen.
So all in all i have the books 3 stars mainly because somethings dont fit and i miss the hot sensual sceens i'm so used to of Kym's books.

Carnal Risk is book 1 and Wicked Rush is book 2. This is next short novella from the Club Altura series.
Evan Tredioux is on a mission to find out who has been stealing sensitive data from the company he works for, Emerson Industries. He was able to get an invitation from an old military buddy to a lavish once a year gala, given by the man Evan has his eye on , Dom Maretta, Ceo of Tri-Trylle. Dom was well know for selling secrets to the highest bidder. He was also the prime suspect implicated in the attempt to steal data from Emerson Industries, but the key witness was missing as well as several pieces of evidence. There were several other players in attendance and rumor of a big meeting taking place.
As Evan makes his way through the hallways to find Dom's office and possible evidence, he hears a man and a woman arguing. When he tries to help when trouble starts, he finds the female is one of his co workers, Raine Presley. Things start to get interesting from here. What is she doing here?......................
It's been too long since the last book in the series (October 2016) I miss the edge of your seat twists and turns of this series. I loved this novella. It was short, but right to the point of the story. It's intriguing, filled with twists and turns and keeps you wanting more.
Please Kym, give us more soon!

A fantastic teaser from one of my favourite authors! Kym has produced this stunning little novelette (origionally part of the Alphas of Danger Collection) and it stands as 2.5 in the Club Altura series. Now this has me in a quandry... I have been waiting forever for Seth's story in this series and now I get the carrot of finding out what happens to Evan and Raine. Really can't decide which I need first now! Another great read Kym, thankyou.

Awesome add to the series. Evan Tredioux and Raine Presley are in this short story (#2.5 in the series). Great read filled with danger and excitement you've come to love about this series. These two have a chemistry that you'll want to see more of. Can't wait to see whats next. I voluntarily reviewed an 'Advance Author’s Copy' of this book.

A really quick taste of a future story involving Emerson Industries with Raine and Evan who are coworkers. Evan walks into this high end party with all the influential people and also criminals. He finds a way upstairs and who should he find was his coworker, Raine. Boy now some shit will hit the fan!

I wholeheartedly enjoyed this novelette. Evan was mentioned in other books in the series and it was great to hear from his POV. This small story was packed with so much umph and the steaminess did not disappoint. I’m looking forward to hearing more from this character. Four stars.

My only complaint is that this was a novelleta so it was too short. It should definitely be read before the other Club Altura books because you’ll get some background on Evan and who wanted him dead.
