The stars are for the nostalgia alone! I loved this TV show growing up! As it was this funny tale, I kept picturing everything as it was in the show. I loved every minute of Alex’s alien tale.

I'd really forgotten how generally good the quality of the Alex Mack books were, for short 90s children/teen novels. The quality of the story telling is great, though not quite outstanding, and the plots are pleasantly devoid of trite and contrived features. Great book!
