I really enjoyed this series. You can learn a lot from these books. I liked the story line and the characters Max and Mandy were great.

Society has unraveled, the supplies are low and everyone is desperate. At any moment an enemy could show themselves. It is a daily struggle to stay injury free and fed. How will they survive the next day. Or maybe even just the next few hours ?

What's Next For Max & The Crew?
This book has the same style. Not polished, but a good story that keeps you reading! I can't believe I've read 4 books so quickly! I suggest you read them and start to Pray for God's Mercy that we never experience an EMP - But get as prepared as you can!

Surviving Chaos is another really good read from this gifted author. In this book 4 of the series, the different groups of characters find themselves faced with challenges they never dreamed they would encounter. They find new strengths to overcome starvation, loneliness, the ability to kill to protect companions, and the endurance they never thought possible.
They also seem to be coming together from disparate directions, leaving the reader hopeful that at some point they will all meet up and form a small survivable community.
I’m really looking forward to the next book.
I highly recommend this book for your entertainment.

Needs More Research
I really like these books, but I finally had to say something.
In the book the author describes the weapons the people have as, deer hunting rifles, shotgun, hand gun and "ASSAULT RIFLE".
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A ASSAULT RIFLE.
That said, assault rifle is a political word and is wrong. Anything that is AR does NOT mean assault rifle. Those that use those words are looked at as ignorant.
AR stands for ArmaLite Rifle, which is who first made AR15.
Please don't trust a politician to get it right. If you write a book or even an article about guns, do research.
Other than that, the books so far are really good

Chaos...
This series just keeps getting better. Our friends seem to be in trouble. They're out of gas, Georgia is wounded and they have very little food. They are trying to make it to the hunting grounds in a national forest.
Max's brother John is also hunting him. With more bad people and depravity around every tree. They've lost Dale and now Kiki..where is she?
This has been a really good storyline. Lots of action, so hard to survive.
Will John find his brother? Can't wait for the next book!😉

WHAT A GREAT BOOK, SERIES, & JOURNEY THROUGH THE AFTER MATH OF THE POST-APOCALYPTIC EVENT
Rynn Westfield has written another great book in this series. Book 4 takes you through the lives of people who have banned together to survive the aftereffect of a post-apocalyptic EMP event. It's well written and holds your interest from the first page to the last. I really enjoyed this book as well as the three previous books and I am really looking forward to starting book 5 shortly. Hope you enjoy this book as well as the series as well as I have/am.

Our survivors continue their progress west as they encounter danger after danger, testing their level of trust and morality. The level of action kicks up in this one, so it doesn't feel as much of a filler as the previous book. We're introduced to some new characters but typical to the author's trend so far, if you're not a main character you end up dead (or missing - I really hope nothing bad happened to the dog Kiki!). I hope the characters will finally get some peace to recuperate in the next books because I feel like they're constantly on the go, go, go.

The first sentence on the back of the book is "How much could you take?". That pretty much sums up this entire book - it's a struggle. NOT to read, but for all of the characters that you've grown so attached to over the previous 3 books. I think this is the most fast paced and action packed book in the series so far, definitely a page turner. Ryan Westfield did a great job with this one, I can't wait for the 5th book to come out.

Exciting
Adventurous and exciting. Love the characters. Max is one tough dude, John his brother is turning out to be just like him. All the girls are learning to fight dirty too. The story is exciting and now I want more of it and know more about their survival. Looking forward to the next book. By the way, this story was a fast page turner and action filled. Warning though, brutal killings and sickening human actions are in this book.

I really enjoy these books, they never last long enough though. A bout the time I am done I forget the characters and it takes me a chapter to remember. But they are worth it!

It’s an interesting story. I suggest that Ryan put in a preface as there is a lot to remember from story to story. This book starts where book 3 left off and the intensity keeps going.

I loved this whole series! I can’t wait for the next book!
Fast paced, lots of action. It’s hard to put it down because every chapter is a cliffhanger. I hope there are a lot more books in this series to come.

Great book
I have read some very great books and this certainly ranks among the better ones hence my rating of four stars. I recommend that anyone who likes to read a good book to get started on this one right this minute.

Great storyline and believable heroes
Had to give it only four stars because the books though well written and with an intense storyline have flaws from poor editing and proofreading.
I still highly recommend this series to bibliophiles who love a good thriller.

Don't stop writing these stories. As long as you write, I promise I'll read. New genre for me and a very interesting start. Once I started reading there was no stopping. What an exciting reading experience.

Okay book.
Some things seem spot on, but others seem to be a stretch. Max & John show continued growth. Kara is obsessed and quite mad. Kor is power hungry and a totally corrupt leader of corrupt, degenerate and evil beings.

this series has kept my interest
Can’t believe I finished this book in 24 hours. So good hated, to put down. Survivors are have new dangers and enemies around each turn. There more violence in this book. Our survivors personalities are changing, due to their circumstances

This is one heck of a good series! I can't stop reading each new book! Just when you think you can take a deep breath as things got to get better something horrible happens! Great ending too!

Going Strong!
Really enjoying this series, it’s quite the page turner. I’m really enjoying the POV chapters and I really like the short term characters they really keep you on your toes not knowing who is staying or leaving.

Can we draw it out any longer?
Not sure about reading anymore. Love this genre, but geez... I'm tired of a whole book being a couple of days with nothing but gabbing from the characters... there is no movement anywhere...
