Corbin Manor has been re-written and re-edited as of April 8, 2020.
You are cordially invited to dinner...and a murder!
Corbin Manor was built in the early 1900s; it has been the silent witness to so much life, the good and bad. The legend of Corbin Manor is that it has been haunted by at least a dozen occupants who have died inside the house. Earlier in the evening, there had been an elegant dinner party hosted by the new owner of Corbin Manor, Miss Joanna Hart. The dinner guests were most notably all women.
A woman has been murdered while visiting Corbin Manor.
It’s up to detective Michael Jon Donahue, his assistant detective Oscar Masters, and his psychic assistant Bianca Vandenberg to find her killer before the murderer strikes again.
I started my journey as a reader but quickly learned how much I enjoyed everything about romance, so I picked up the pen in 2017 and haven't looked back. Writing various genres, paranormal romance is my go-to. However, I do have a few mysteries and contemporary romances under my belt.
My favorite books involve characters that aren't perfect and have room to grow or a good mystery you can't easily solve. With each new book, I keep this in mind and enjoy creating complex worlds where my characters take the stage.
When I am not creating fantastic new worlds for my readers to get lost in, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my two rescue dogs, Sammie and Jake.

Wow, what a read. This book grabbed me and kept me interested and reading until the very end. It moves along at a great pace, has interesting characters and a story that grabs you, keeping you reading till the last word. This book needs to be on your TBR list, no doubt about it.
The book is full of mysteries, murders and ghost stories. The way K R Hall maintained the mystery throughout the book is amazing. Until the end no one can guess what really happened... phenomenal storyline by K R Hall. Highly recommended!!
Corbin Manor was the book I was looking for and was having trouble finding.
Based in a haunted manor, women are being murdered. Murder is the manor’s history, so it’s not surprising. However, when cops and a psychic are called to the scene they realize things are not always as they appear. With ghosts interfering, can they solve the current murders at hand? Or will the murderer kill them all before they’re caught?
This is a light hearted murder mystery with a paranormal twist. Kind of like Scooby Doo meets a Murder Mystery Party. It’s interesting, engaging, but not too frightening. Honestly, I loved this book.
It’s usually a task for me to find good paranormal murder mysteries but this one blew all others out of the water. Even though it’s a spoof, it still keeps you guessing until the very end.
This is a really good spoof murder mystery with ghosts. I liked the story although I found it slightly disjointed in parts. The characters are fun, I especially liked the mother in law. It is important to recognise that this is a spoof and treat it as such somethings could never happen in a genuine investigation even without the ghosts getting involved. K R Hall is a new author for me and one I will be reading more of. Tom Bottelsen does an excellent job giving the characters their own voice. I had no idea whodunnit until the end. I received a complimentary copy from the author and am leaving a voluntary honest review
Scooby Doo/Shaggy and Inspector Clouseas (from Pink Panther) would be excited to be part of this book. It was straight forward until mysterious characters would pop in, do something odd and get killed. WHY? I kept thinking why did that person do that, why was he killed for doing that, then it was back to the story. Then the pets began to talk, which was just plain silly. But at least when there were bodies or other excitement happening it was interesting. The amount of ghosts was confusing as I had a hard time keeping track of them. I did enjoy the ending
The one thing about Who Done It's are they can be utterly confusing until the end. Even then sometimes your still lost are are like wait...what? HEHE. Scooby-Doo was definitely my favorite cartoon as a kid. So, I was totally on board with this. This was fun and I loved the end. It was a fun read. Reminds me a little of a movie I watched in the 80s that had me guessing til the end. A bit different but the same kind of story of a Who Done It. Those are always fun.
KR Hall is a new author to me. I dont normally do murder mystery but I thought I'd give this one a go. Instead of reading it I went for audio narrated by Tom Bottlesen. Tom's voice is very smooth and easy to listen to. He does a real good job of taking on different voices and bringing them to life, some of the characters are really funny Its a really good story with lots going on. It was well written.Word of advice dont stay at Corbin Manor, course you just dont know what will happen.
I love ghost stories & mysteries in general. This book combines the two & does a good job. I didn't figure out who did it until right at the end., which I liked. I did have a problem following what was happening in a few places, so gave it 4 stars. Good job from a newer author.
I absolutely loved this book. It's had me every step of the way! Mystery shrouds Corbin Manor, and no wonder it does--mysterious happenings are all around, and ghosts live in every room. What's a Detective to do? Work the case and find out answers, but will he be the next one on the chopping block??
Very good! Easy reading. Likable characters and good plot. A bunch of friends meet in a "haunted" mansion to celebrate their love for murder mysteries lol. What did they think would happen??? You'll love it!
What an absolute amazing murder mystery! I felt like I was Sherlock Holmes trying to find out who did it. Also, it being in a haunted house, made it even more interesting! Amazingly written by an incredible writer!
This was a great read! If you love mystery and a good ghost story then this is the book for you. I was keep second guessing who the murder was the entire book. I loved the pets names and that they communicate with each other. Mr. Snappy would be my favorite. Definitely recommend this book and author.
This book was a murder mystery with a twist. It's a spoof and that's what made the book amusing in light of a murder. I admit that I didn't know who the killer was among the cast of characters. That alone made it a worthwhile read. If you like murder mysteries and can appreciate absurdities for comic relief, then this book is for you!
This one had me guessing to the end! I had no clue whom the murderer was. I enjoyed the characters and the banter between them. Add in the pets and ghosts, it was a a great book!
