Kidnapped and held hostage, Alex doesn’t think his day could get any worse. Of course, he’s wrong. Very wrong. He doesn’t know what bad is until his captor, Ahriman, needs a new host body and Alex’s unique DNA makes him the perfect candidate. You would think that was as bad as it can get, right? Wrong.
Enter Abby, a telepathic vampire who’s lived most of her life as a recluse. She’s shy and naive when it comes to relationships. She’s also Alex’s mate—or will be if she can find him and complete their blood bond. If she doesn’t? He will die! But she’s determined to do whatever it takes to rescue him.
Okay, so you’re thinking things are looking bad for Alex. Spare a thought for Ahriman. Sure, he’s an evil fallen angel with an agenda to create a doorway to the underworld. And yes, he enjoys dominating Alex, whose body he’s now inhabiting. But Alex isn’t making it easy for him. Alex’s special DNA makes him stronger than any regular human. Not to mention he also has a genius-level IQ, is incredibly stubborn, and has a very, very irritating personality. If that isn’t bad enough, Alex needs to have regular sex with Abby or their shared body might die. Ahriman can handle the sex; the blood bond between Alex and Abby . . . not so much. In fact, it’s enough to make him wish he was in a coma.
But that’s not all. To top all that off, there’s Ahriman’s slightly crazy current . . . um, ex-girlfriend, a sociopathic vampire hell-bent on revenge and a sorceress whose evil tendencies just might trump Ahriman’s.
With three souls, two bodies, and one combustible attraction, get ready for a roller-coaster ride of drama, sex, and hilarious situations, but how will it end?
K.G Inglis is the author with a refreshingly original take on paranormal romance/suspense novels. When not writing about the sexy vampires and alpha lycans and dragons, she can be found reading about them and spending time with her family. Native to Australia, she lives in a beach town on the Southern Coast which many call a holiday destination. If you like your men hot and the action steamy, mixed with a heavy dose of humour then the Eternal series will find a space in your ‘must read again’ collection.
This was a wonderful book full of drama suspense intrigue magic suspense steam sex hilarious situations attraction and romance. It’s the second in the Eternal Covenant series and an amazing story.

This second installment to The Eternal series was well written and kept my attention with the endearing characters along with the engaging story line. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Eternal Possession is the 2nd book in The Eternal Series by K.G. Inglis.
I fell in love with K.G. Inglis’s writing with the first book of this series and I couldn’t not stop reading it and I am so glad that I kept going. Eternal Possession was everything that I could have wanted and more. Humans, Vampires, Fallen Angels, Demons, Shared Bodies, An Evil Sorceress, Kidnapping, Possession, Genius IQ, Telepathy, Fated Mates, A Crazy Ex Girlfriend, Drama, Smex, Humour, and of course Snark.
I will say that Eternal Possession had a really very interesting and unique premise and after reading Eternal Covenant I was really looking forward to diving into this book. And once I started this book, I have to be honest and say that I had trouble putting it down once I started reading. I unequivocally loved reading the story of Alex and Abby’s extraordinary love story and the overarching plot of the fight between good and evil.
This isn’t only Abby and Alex’s story though. This is also Tegan and Saladin’s story. I personally would have preferred K.G. would have chosen one couple and just focused in on that couple as I did kind of confusing flipping between the two couples.
One of the things that I really liked about this book was that it was a standalone within the series, while remaining the second book of the series. One of the things that I did find a little bit confusing was that this book started off with our FMC waking up and she doesn’t immediately understand who or where she is right away. That is honestly my only complaint.
Eternal Possession follows Cassie’s friend Alex and his fated mate Abby.
Alex, God how I loved him. He is perpetually childish, something that we saw in the first book and it goes full force in this book, more than that though we see he is full of snarky attitude as well.
Oh, poor Alex is really having a rather bad day though. We see he’s kidnapped by this fallen angel named Arhiman who is determined to take over Alex’s body and more than that, once Arhiman has taken over Alex’s body he plans to open a doorway to the underworld. But Alex is a fighter and he has no intention of surrendering without a fight, and his hard-headedness actually leads to some really very funny scenes that had me laughing.
Then we have Abby, a telepathic vampire. Oh, and Abby also happens to be Alex’s fated mate. And once Abby and Alex/Arhiman are united they have to have frequent smex, if they don’t Alex/Arhiman will die.
And then you have to take into consideration Arhiman’s insane (ex) girlfriend and suddenly you find yourself on this insane rollercoaster ride. I loved the banter between Alex/Ahriman and Abby and the spicy scenes were out of this world. And then watching the Eternal Dragon was so stunning. Although I did find the end kind of spiler-y at the end.
Believe me, if you’ve already read Eternal Covenant, you’re not going to want to miss this next installment and if you haven’t yet read Eternal Covenant, then I suggest you go and read it and then come back and jump on the roller-coaster ride that is Abby and Alex/Arhiman’s adventure.
This book has a really interesting and unique-sounding premise, so I was really looking forward to reading it. Unfortunately, I couldn't get into this book at all.
When I set out to read it, I didn't realize it isn't a standalone, but actually the second book in a series. I had signed up for an ARC copy, and when I did there was no mention of a series name, or "book 2" or anything like that. It wasn't until I checked on Amazon that I found out. Now, I don't have a problem reading a book that's not the first in a series. I'll usually get some brief description in the beginning about what happened before, or have that information revealed to me as I read so I understand. Here the book starts off feeling like I'm waking up in the middle of something and not knowing what's going on- and quite literally the character is waking up and not immediately understanding where or who she is at first. Then pages of internal monologue describing what's happening, though I don't really understand it all.
Another reason I couldn't get into it: too many characters are thrown at me. Some I was told who they were. But others would just walk onto the scene and I wouldn't know who they were or anything about them and what they're doing. It made things hard to follow trying to remember who's who and what side they're on. For example, the situation at the beginning seems dire with a man kidnapped but someone evil and powerful, in danger, could possibly die from an incomplete bond, so there's this sense of rush and urgency. The first two chapters focus on the rescuers and the victim, then all of a sudden, chapter three begins with other people in a much more relaxed setting with one trying to seduce the other. It threw me off and just felt random and broke the sense of urgency.
The point of view was also a little messed up. If a chapter or subchapter starts from one person's POV, I expect it to stay there. Not suddenly see into the inner workings of someone else's mind that isn't the narrator of that chapter. The first time I thought it was just an oversight. But I noticed it happening more frequently. It's jarring to read a book from a third person POV that suddenly switches briefly to someone else's thoughts.
Finally there were times a character (adult man) was constantly throwing childish insults that just felt completely juvenile coming from an adult- especially in the situation he was in and who he was up against. He also liked to attribute insulting nicknames to people, and those names would change, so I'd have to stop and think about who was being talked about.
Unfortunately I couldn't finish reading this one. Too lost and too many characters, and the inconsistent POV threw me off. 3 stars because I might have liked a little better had I started in book 1.
This book follows on the heels of book 1, Eternal Covenant, but turns to the story of Cassie's friend, Alex. I loved Alex's snarky attitude and periodically childish behavior in the first book, and it really gets full reign here. Alex is having a really bad day. He's kidnapped by a fallen angel who wants to take over his body, - oh - and create a doorway to the Underworld. But Alex will not surrender quietly, and his obstinance leads to some really funny scenes. Then there is a telepathic vampire, Abby, who happens to be Alex's mate and they have to have frequent sex or Alex/Arhiman will die. Add in Arhiman's crazy (ex) girlfriend and it's one heck of a rollercoaster ride. If you read Eternal Covenant, you won't want to miss this story. If not, go read that book first, then come back for Alex, Abby, and Arhiman's fun.
In book one (Eternal Covenant), Alex was a side character who very stealthy-like snuck in under the radar with his irreverent humor and child-like behaviour. In his own story, these actions are magnified and his charm really stands out. Possessed by the evil demon Ahriman, his body no longer under his control, he seeks his revenge by incessantly singing children tunes. But the true topper in his repertoire is getting Ahriman to understand that evil can be changed and turned in a new direction. Abby's love for Alex is put to the test when Ahriman is in control, but it's Alex's forgiveness that makes all the difference.
This is Abby and Alex, but it’s also Tegan and Saladin story. Personally, I would have preferred the story focus on one or the other couple - flipping between the two was distracting. I kept skimming through Tegan and Saladin’s parts because I wanted to get back to Alex/Ahriman and Abby’s story. I really enjoyed the banter between Alex, Ahriman and Abby, as well as the steamy scenes. The addition of Watching the Eternal Dragon was nice, though the story was completely spoiler-ed at the Eternal Possession. An exciting read, overall.
Eternal Possession: An Eternal Novel (Eternal Series Book 2 By K G Inglis. I loved this book ! Yes it’s a bit slow in the beginning but then it is so entertaining. Alex and Ahriman and Abby wow steamy Hot. Ahriman is a heartless , soulless A Hole. However, he take over Alex wonderful body but he could never control his soul , heart and love for Abby. In the end I liked Ahriman he learn a wonderful lesson before he departs. I recommend this series , it was amazing …
Eternal Posession by K.G. Inglis is an awesome story to read. This is book number two that I have loved reading and I can not wait to read more from this author. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about romantic suspense, erotica and paranormal romance.

The second book in the Eternal Series and it is just getting more intense. There are two couples in this story Abby and Alex, and Tegan and Saladin, but there is also a short story called WAKING THE ETERNAL DRAGON that I also enjoyed reading. I want to read the next story. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
this was a great sequel in the Eternal series, it had what I enjoyed about the first book. K.G. Inglis wrote this really well and I was invested in what was going on. It does a great job in telling this story and I enjoyed what was going on with the characters.

Interesting book full of action, suspense, romance, heat with twists all around for the main characters. I voluntarily received this book for an honest review.
This story carries on from No. 1. I couldn't put it down, it is so good. Lots of fast paced story, twists and turns and lots of romance and love. Great, great stuff!!
This is the sequel to the first Eternal book. This book is Alex and Abby's story. We also learn what Arhiman's plan is and find out if Abby and Alex are able to stop him. I didn't find this story to be as interesting as the first one. The first half of the book moved a little slow for me. All of the Eternal books have pretty graphic sexual scenes but this book was a little much for me. I did like the introduction of some new characters and am excited to see how they add to the series in the next book.
It felt like this story picked up mid storyline for other books. If you are a fan of this author, you will probably love this book. As a first-time reader of her works, it might be best not to start here.
I absolutely loved reading this tale of Alex and Abby's ' love extraordinaire' and the bigger fight between good and evil.
If you like supernatural hot and steamy romances, then this story of Alex and Abby's love is for you and if I didn't know better I would say their love affair inspired the creation of the Kama Sutra as they're open and up for all sexual experiences. However, what they never expected was for Alex to be kidnapped and his body used as a depository for the dangerous and evil Ahriman's soul, bringing new meaning to the words "menage a trois" as Abby desperately searches for a way to separate Alex from Ahriman without killing Alex. It's a thrilling and wonderfully entertaining read, don't miss it.
As a followup to book 1, this story doesn't disappointment. It beat all my expectations. I couldn't put it down. The first book was great, but this second book in the series really gets you sucked into this wonderful world, so similar to our own but so much better. This book has it all, incredibly hot sex scenes, its humorous quips and colorful descriptions of events you can relate to in everyday life will keep you in stitches, and a rich plot that unfolds at a rapid pace keeps you on the edge of your seat. I couldn't recommend this book highly enough. You'd be mad not to read it, it's brilliant.
