When the Easter Bunny Went on Holiday by Colin Buchanan (the book wasn't found on goodreads so this is the next closest book) is a story of the Easter bunny having a holiday. His Australian friends end up helping him distribute the chocolate.

This book was absolutely adorable.
Growing up in Australia I can vividly remember the excitement of the Easter Hat Parade at school. Planning what your hat was going to look like, the hours spent making your hat and then the joy of finally participating in the Parade. This amazing book was like a trip down memory lane.
I can honestly say I have never seen an Easter book set in Australia. They are probably out there but I have never actually seen one. When I saw this book I knew I had to have it.
This is the second children’s book by Colin Buchanan that I own, I also have Aussie Jingle Bells. I absolutely love both of these books.
Colin Buchanan has created an amazing story that is not only fun and sweet but it also highlights Australian Animals and Plants. I am a proud Aussie, so I really loved getting to see our native flora and fauna on display.
Simon Williams’ beautiful illustrations perfectly compliment Colin Buchanan’s writing. The illustrations in this book are absolutely breathtaking and really enhance this amazing book.
Aussie Easter Hat Parade by Colin Buchanan and Simon Williams is an absolute treasure. This wonderful little book will entertain readers regardless of their age. A perfect addition to all Australian bookshelves.
