In this MMORPG style, video gaming light novel where the game has become equally relevant to events in the real world, Shi Feng has been given a second chance. This time, he will not be controlled by others. In his previous incarnation, he became the Level 200 Sword King, but he will rise to a higher peak in this life.
With reincarnation comes knowledge of what most deem unknowable: Methods to earn money! Dungeon conquering strategies! Legendary Quests! Equipment drop locations! Undiscovered battle techniques! Secrets of which even the Beta Testers are unaware... He knows them all...
Massive wars, life advancement, entering Godhood, sword skill reaching its peak; this is merely the beginning of the legend surrounding Shi Feng becoming the Sword God. Follow his trials through this and many more books to come!
I found the translation of this book to be much rougher than the first book. However the story is enjoyable. While some of the fights are not believable, the MC being so overpowered is kind of cool. This is due mainly to the fact that leveling up is still slow even for him. I also like that each book only covers a couple of days. I recommend this book.
The action is starting to heat up. Feng has started to put his future knowledge to action go to war of forgeing with a fellow forget from his past or future or how ever you want to put it. This is his chance to start making money and put his plan in action. Great addition.
Not as interesting as the first book, I guess the focus was more on character development, so it wasn't as fun a read. Translation was a bit over done, a bit to much explaining and object description. Still it was a fun read and I look forward to the next in the series.
If you're here trying to decide to read it, you should. There was much more dedicated to the virtual world and I liked that reality took a back seat and more emphasis was placed on him doing more things he didn't have much knowledge about.
Definitely another very enjoyable read that I thoroughly enjoyed. I am very much looking forward to reading book 3, I’m sure it will be another exciting read.
Yet another complete mess. You may ask why after such a low ranking was given on book one would I move on to book two? The simple answer is that I can be very stubborn. The more in depth answer is that buried in this horrible translation there is an interesting story.
I can't recommend this book either though. The use of Google translate has turned this into a brain melting nightmare. I can't believe that someone else gave this book five stars. I will tell you a couple of the problems. First the sex of characters is constantly changing. You go from the character being male in one sentence to female in the next. Second to many words appear that either aren't translated or have no meaning in the English language. I tried looking some of them up. As a bonus I will tell you that weapons like spears and wands keep turning into guns.
If you want your brain to melt you can try to untangle this mess but again I feel this is a 0/10
