She’s off-limits, but I don’t care. My new nurse will be mine.
The outside world thinks they know who I am. All they see is the rich, handsome, and successful surgeon who runs the world-renowned Sanchez Clinic that had every A-list celebrity lining up. But what they don’t see is my loneliness. And for a while, I don’t see it either, until Janie walks into my clinic.
She’s sweet, young and full of life. I shouldn’t have touched her. She’s forbidden, in so many ways, but I burned for her. And now that I’ve tasted her, I know there’s no turning back. I crave her more than ever. I want to claim her in every way. There is no escape from the insatiable monster she has awakened in me.
I’ll make her hunger for me. I’ll make her scream my name. And I’ll make her mine.
This is a 20,000-word novella with a satisfying HEA!

Totally gave up... I got to the 3rd chapter where Frank (our supposed OLDER hero) was surreptitiously watching Janie change into her nurses' uniform - on her SECOND day - and getting a hard-on. (Lecherous old git!)
Not rating it because it's not really worth it.
NB: fortunately, I acquired this as a freebie via one of those sites (Bookfunnel/ProlificWorks??) so no loss to me :)
Finding A New Lease On Life: By Korkoi - Sparks and sizzling heat is blended with lots of witty banter and bitchiness, to create this story that really captured my attention from the beginning until the end.
Frank is a world renowned surgeon and everyone thinks they know who he really is. But they don't. He's lonely. Very lonely! Then one day, Janie walks in seeking a position as a nurse within his clinic. The day and the world seem to brighten up when he sees her. He's basically entranced by her and craves her company. On her second day on the job he asks for her to accompany him whilst he operates in theatre and she is so shocked, and yet happy, and he seems to be interested in HER of all people? This is a sweet story of unexpected love, people's lives being better for someone being with them, yet has some twists and malicious people who are jealous trying to break the two of them up. Frank is a great guy and Janie can't help loving him. Their love journey is not smooth but is one very entertaining story that Nicole Casey is sharing with us here. Nicole has penned characters that I felt were very believable and ones that, if they were real, I'd want to be friends with them [and a few I wouldn't want to be near!] It captivated my attention at the beginning and kept me hooked on the story till the end. This is one story that I will want to re-read in the future as it's so good. I received a free reader's copy and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.
This was a great, quick read for me. The chapters just flew by, I was so caught up in the story. Renowned plastic surgeon Dr Frank Sanchez thought he had it all, until Janie interviewed for a nurse position at his world famous clinic. Meeting her made him realize how dissatisfied he had become with his work and his life. He was lonely, and wanted to lighten up and live a little. He decided Janie could help him do that. Janie was in awe of her new job and her new employer, Dr Sanchez. She was shocked when he seemed to take an interest in her, even having her work with him in surgery after only one day on the job. Their story is a sweet one, humorous at times, frustrating at others. Suffering through a series of mishaps, misunderstandings, and jealous co-workers, can they come together and make it work, or just give up and run for the hills? I know you will enjoy their story as much as I did. And with the bonus books, it's a hands-down no-brainer!
OK, note to myself: never again read something written by Nicole Casey. It was unbelievable bad written. The books cover mislead, because we see a nice young doctor, while the book ist about a Daddy doctor 20 years older instantly falling for his new nurse.
In her second day in job fresh from nursing school she was asked to assist at surgery... Hello? I expect a small amount of plausibility!
And then, she was waiting for him at a hotel lobby at Vegas after a long trip with a bus, found him, took the elevator, was naked within the elevator ride, entered his suite and....... covered this guy with hot chocolate sauce. Where did she get this? Should I think about her, grabbing her clothes at the elevator with one hand, holding a thermos with hot chocolate sauce at the other?
Frankly, I am very open about author owns the story, but this one was so bad...
The second issue: the story ended at 20%.... It began at page 11 and ended at 84 of 390.... I really hate this.
This book goes by in a bit of a blur. There’s instant chemistry, several misunderstandings, a precocious younger sister, and some meddling staff; elements that make for a really good story. Janie is such a sweetie, and she’s worked hard to care for her sister and earn her nursing degree. So, she deserves to finally get some of the good things life has to offer. Frank has completely lost his way, his passion, and his inspiration. I loved watching him find his spark, his reason to enjoy life again. Even though there’s several mentions in the text about the age difference between them, it never seems to be a big deal. Janie’s wise beyond her years and carries herself with the maturity of someone a decade her senior. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book.
Amazing sexy read. Very well written short story with great storyline and plot. The characters are well described and develops nicely but sometimes the lack depth to their personality. They are likeable and I had a great time reading this story. A story with twists that only makes it better and more captivating. A book with lots of chemistry and passion. Their relationship is fast paced.
It is written in dual POV which gives the reader much more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. An epilogue would have been very welcomed and would have finished to story better off. The story flows nicely and it is very captivating.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
✔Characters were enjoyable. Janie was strong when it comes to taking care of her sister. I liked that about her. Frank is a brooding older man who pretty much forgot what it's like to have a love life.
❌Plot was lacking. It needs more drama and more romance. Only reason for the "daddy" in the title is because it's an older man. No "daddy" play or anything like that. ❌This short story ends at 16%. The rest is book stuffing. ❌Cover needs an older man. It doesn't fit the title or blurb.
I just read a book the other day by this author that was fantastic. Not sure on what happened with this one?
Older Man, Younger Woman Romance. An enjoyable short read.Janie starts her first day as a nurse at The Sanchez Clinic, a prestigious plastic surgery clinic. Where world renowned Dr Frank Sanchez treats the rich and famous. Instant attraction for both Janie and Frank. Frank is over 20 years older than Janie. Could he be the man of her dreams? This is a sweet, funny, romance. This is my honest review of an ARC I received.
An hot shot older plastic surgeon Dr. Frank Sanchez and his hot bodied younger nurse Janie, their hot scorching romance and the events occurring following that is the plot. Frank, a doctor who never cared of the nurses working under him until the young Janie, enters his clinic, their chemistry is hot regardless their age gap, but what happens when she runs away when she is the one he wants now. I enjoyed this book, I received as an ARC and voluntarily reviewing it.
This is a good older man/younger woman romance. The storyline is well-written with some humor and romance. The characters are good and overall the book is entertaining. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.
Extremely entertaining, captivating, and interesting read. I could not put it down. Well written with strong characters. I want to read more from this author. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I am voluntarily leaving an honest review of an ARC copy of this book I absolutely loved this book could not put it down great writing job and if anyone is looking for a wonderful read then this is one to add to your list you will not be disappointed I wasn't I loved it
Janie goes to a job interview with Doctor Frank. There is a attraction there. Janie can't believe she is saying the things she is. There is a blow up and a lot of second guessing between them that could end the dream. There is a happy ending.😊
I liked this book and the characters. I liked that it showed how their relationship grew throughout the book. Not sure it was a believable book but it was a good read. I don't think the cover fit the character.
I loved the book could have been longer. I felt like it left me hanging. I felt like I was there but at the same time I felt like I was missing something.
