This book was so good it held my attention from the very first page. I loved Morgan and how she don't stuff from anyone. Zo is crazy and I hope he learn he lesson. Simone I was not ready for her secret. Morgan mom wow definitely reading part 2.

Yup this man Zo had it all. Good looking in all. I truly love this story and I cAn't wait for part 2. I hope Mo get her happiness bc Troy blurted her really bad. That scandalous mom!! Wait what. Angel smh she is so jealous.. I'm not gone tell the story but it was truly good. Lauren was her sister ride or die and she didn't play no games about her sis!! Where is part 2..?? Hurry

Whew CHILE. Let me just say this—everybody in this book was either toxic, trifling, or BOTH. Like Patrice really sat down and said, “Let me test this reader’s blood pressure from chapter one.” 😭
First of all, Zo? A cheating-ass, dog-ass, lying-ass nigga. He fine, yes. But the way he moved? Red flags in a Gucci belt. 🚩
Simone-slash-Jessica? Bitch.
Morgan’s mama? Bitch.
Karina, the fake-ass sister? Bitch.
Ashley? Messy bitch.
Keda? Fake bitch.
Most of the men? Bitch-made.
It was just an entire circus of betrayal, lies, backstabbing, and fake love. I was flipping pages and yelling “BITCHHHH!” every other chapter. I needed a water break halfway through because the stress was personal. 🥴
But listen—Morgan held it TF down. A real one from beginning to end. She never folded, even when the world turned on her. And Lauren?? RIDE. OR. DIE. That sisterhood was the only peace I had in this chaos-filled, lie-infested journey.
Now, don’t get me wrong—the writing was fire. The twists? Messy and addictive. The drama? Top tier. But babyyyy it was A LOT. Like 12 episodes of Love & Hip Hop packed into one book. Had me clutching my pearls and my inhaler. 💨📖
So 4 stars. Because I loved it, but I’m still trying to recover from the emotional damage.
Still running to read part 2 tho. Don’t play with Patrice.

The twists and turns were crazy in this story. As always Patrice puts a spin on the same storyline that you see in fiction the whole boy meets girl thing and blows it up, putting it back together again. I am excited for part 2

Patrice just dropped a bomb on us this book was so good from the beginning to the end oh I can't wait to read part two.....:-P was my dude but is infidelity cost him not only did he cheat but with who is why you shouldn't D in his pants now Lauren morgan sister is a down ass chick I love her I love that character in this as an all but that mother she got to go I wish,she Hurry up and let karma bite her in the butt.... This book was a fast-paced well-written masterpiece while I didn't even see that coming for this to be your debut you Rock this.... You clearly have a gift storytelling is on and you just perfected this I can't wait for part two again I hope it's quick out freaking standing

This is my first read by this Author, but definitely won't be my last. This book was an attention grabber from page 1 and it only got better and better until the very end. Such a fast-paced book and so well written and it's a BANGER. loved the characters and how you developed then, and your gift for storytelling was AWESOME. All the lies and secrets had me on the edge of my chair throughout the whole book, waiting to see what was happening next. Loved the unbreakable sisterly bond with Morgan and Lauren. Can't wait to see where this incredible journey with Morgan, Zo, Lauren and Heavy takes me next. Job very well done Patrice Balark. Highly recommend this book.

This new author definitely brought her A game. This story was on point and I can't wait to read more of her work. I love Zo's character but he needs to get his ish together. Mo is a good girl with a bright future if she just pursue it. But she will stop at no cost to help the man who has her heart. Keeda is trifling and I hope she gets a dose of a sick stick lol. Lauren always got Mo's back no matter what. I can't wait to see what happens in pt 2 Great Job

I'm loving getting to know the characters all the twist and turns of events and especially the surprise connections... I can't wait to finish this review to start pt 2. I love myself some Zo and Morgan. Thus book had some twist in it and I absolutely love how it was written and the characters development. That ending though. I am left with so many questions and can't wait to see how part 2 is going to play out.

Fiyah!!!! This had me hooked from beginning to the end Mo can't catch a break! I can't believe Simone is a snitch, Mo's mom really isn't her mother, and her sister Katrina has a daughter by Zo! Wow! Things just started to unfold in part 1 so I can't wait to see how things will turn out for book 2.
