Pretty just excerpt from previously written article, complied into a book. I was hoping for a more in depth story regarding some issue, nope.

Just supporting local author but if they just keep releasing books like this, it is really meh.

You Want This GOONvernment ah? by Kee Thuan Chye offered a harsh reality of our current political mess in Malaysia. From RM1 chicken to fake religious oaths and broken promises. From 1MDB scandal to Rosmah’s-uncountable-amount-of-handbag issue. It’s literally a book for a politic noob. From a perspective so novel, I began to understand how politics work, and why people who say they have nothing to do with politics actually have EVERYTHING to do with politics. I cannot say I agree to every argument made in this book, but almost all of them are logic with a pinch of spicy remarks here and there. No scratch that - pour our all the chilli powder- this book is burning with passion to deliver truth (and maybe a little bit of satirical rage and repetitive complaints) to the readers. The wording is a straight slap in the face, especially if you’re the ass kisser. The author is also a journalist and he often writes articles for newspapers.

All in all, this book is a sweet introduction to political hell in Malaysia. Now I can start Billion Dollar Whale by Tom Wright and Bradley Hope with a new surge of intensified curiosity!

And wow, I gain much knowledge about the political issue in Malaysia. And yeay, after the 'opposition' lose in the GE14, there's a lot of book keep coming through the store and they are selling widely at the public. Well, thanks to new government which I hoped that the new government will not be the goonvernment as the writers said.

The articles were not being discussed deeply. But yeah, I gain much information and political issues and other stuff. Its kinda surprising reading how much the goons spend their money, solving political issues and other stuffs.

We gain the freedom. Write and read the truth stuff. Other thing, good books for beginner to political world.
