Bronaz has a family in his best friends at Treasured Ink, the dragon-owned tattoo shop, and a job he loves. But since his twin brother's death years ago, he's been reluctant to open himself to anyone—which is hard when he meets his fated mate.
Omega Kuras wants to meet his fated mate and have a baby more than anything. But time is running out, and dating apps aren't any help. When he meets Bronaz, he's overjoyed. But what if Bronaz doesn't feel the same way?
Meanwhile, the dragons of Treasured Ink investigate a dangerous organization targeting mythical shifters. After a friend's sister is kidnapped by the organization, Bronaz vows to find her—so his friend doesn't suffer the same fate he did.
As Kuras pushes, Bronaz pulls. Bronaz realizes he can't ignore the bond pulling them together, but he can't get hurt again. That's what love brings. But Kuras is determined to show him love can bring healing too—and that it's worth everything.
The two have to learn to work together if they're going to be fated mates. But can Kuras help heal Bronaz's heart? And will they find the kidnapped shifter before it's too late?
Alpha Dragon: Bronaz is the third in a steamy new mpreg romance series centered around alpha dragons who love ink and getting inked. It has hurt/comfort themes. Each couple gets a HEA, but the books are best enjoyed in order. Warning: this book is so hot it’ll scorch your shirt off!
Overall story: 4 stars Writing Quality: 1 star Character development: 3 stars Final rating: 2.6 stars rounded up to 3 stars
This book was difficult for me as the writing quality varied greatly throughout the book. There were some chapters that were just painful to read, despite the story being told being quite interesting. This was not a problem I had with either of the two previous books in the series and one can only hope it will be rectified in book 4. I am truly enjoying this series, both the per book couple pairings as well as the overarching series plot. I am looking forward to the rest of this series, hoping that books 4 & 5 will be more like books 1 & 2 and not a repeat of this book!
Same sort of issue with this book as the previous ones - there is just something about the writing style that doesn’t fully work for me.
I like how the stories are continuing to build on each other, and I like the characters and the sense of family they all have together. I guess I just still feel like the world building and “rules” for shifters (wolf, dragon, etc), humans knowing about shifters, are not clearly defined.
I got this entire series for free during different promotions so I am enjoying it in between the other things I am reading, but I don’t know if I would continue with the series if it wasn’t free?
Another good book 4.5 I received this book by the sweet and spicy arc programme for an honest opinion. This book is the 3rd instalment of the treasured ink series and follows Bronaz this time finally finding his mate and getting a happy ever after. We were left at the disappearance of a fellow mystical being following the attacks on the mythical shifters at the end of book 2. This story plot continues to be uncovered so we are gradually starting to unwind the culprits. Bronaz a tattoo artist finds his mate unexpectedly when Kuras comes to the parlour with the intent to help Austin (the omega from book 2) with his pregnancy. Kuras is pleased when he finds his mate as after going through the process of always looking in from the outside of happy families he really wants to be the one experiencing it. But bronaz is a little unsure if its the right time to be starting a relationship due to all the upheaval and uncertainty going on right now. This is the story of them working there way to a relationship and coming to terms with their pasts that is still plaguing bronaz. I enjoyed this book we get a more detailed look at the process of the pregnancy for the omegas. I also liked the characters and the fact that we get to see previous characters still. A good continuing story and I'm looking forward to the next.
This is the third book in The Treasured Ink Series. An intriguing book the writing was good. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters interesting. The characters were developed and thought out. Kuras is an Omega and Bronaz is an Alpha and they are the MC’s of this book and mates. There was magic, unicorns, shifters, muggings, mates, kidnapping, tattoo shop, past loss and so much more in this book.
Here is a quote from the book, “Bronaz’ acceptance to dinner finally comes through several hours later. I was beginning to worry he wouldn’t want to meet. I’m not sure why, he seemed willing enough to exchange phone numbers earlier. So I chalk it up to being busy and not being able to get back to me quickly. It doesn’t matter because he said yes. My dragon wiggles in delight at the prospect of getting to know Bronaz better.”. There is more but you will need to read the book which I can recommend. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.
I read this book as part of an arc program. I love this series. This is the third book in this series. In this book, Austin is getting ready to give birth so he seeks the help of Kuras, the midwife who helped Nosko. When Kuras arrives at Treasured Ink, he is shocked and happy to find his fated mate there. Kuras wants a family of his own, but he was losing hope of finding his mate so when he meets Bronaz (Naz), he is ready to commit to him. Naz is a little more cautious about his mate because of a loss he suffered years prior. Naz thinks if he cares for Kuras, he will be taken away from him. When Kuras wants to help find the kidnapped sister of a friend, Naz gets to know Kuras and learns to trust their bond. This was a really good book and I really loved Naz. I thought he was adorable with his playful ways. I really thought Kuras was great for Naz and thought they brought out the best in each other. I can't wait for the next book of this series,
This is the first book in the series that I have read. I enjoyed it but wish I would have have followed the suggestion in the blurb to read the stories in order. Although this is Kuras and Bronaz's story, there is a storyline from the first books that is also happening here. I followed along okay, but wish I had the backstory knowledge of what was going on.
Kuras and Bronaz had immediate chemistry as fated mates. They were perfect together and I loved their support of one another, especially how supportive and understanding Kuras was. I liked that Bronaz wasn't a typical stubborn Alpha. He allowed Kuras to see his vulnerable side.
I definitely want to go back and read the first two books to see how the other two couples in this story got their HEAs. I am also looking forward to the next book. *I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This is my honest review.*
This is a great series that keeps getting better with every book. It is well-written and the characters are intriguing. The world building is excellent as well and the authors paint a vivid picture of what it is like to be there. I love that the characters from the previous books are included in the story so we can catch up with their lives. Kuras is patient and understanding (mostly) when Bronaz doesn't immediately jump in when they find out they are fated mates. While they are getting to know each other they also work together to help a friend find her kidnapped sister. When Bronaz shares his history with Kuras he understands why Bronaz has been holding back and together they can get over this hurdle. I love the ending and I can't wait for the next book. I was given an ARC to review by the authors.
Bronaz has looked for his fated mate for years. When Kuras comes In his shop he knows he has at last found him. Kuras is a doula who has come to help one of Bronaz’s friend’s mate. The two get to know each other while helping a friend find her kidnapped sister.
Spicy and sweet. I liked that the kidnapping story line was tied up. I thought that Bronaz’s hesitation was understabable and believable. I like the family dynamic between the friends in the shop. Great series and I am curious to see where the next book takes us! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of the book.
The story picks up where it left off in Book two on the mystery of Goldies sister. Bronaz is one of the tattoo artist at Treasured Ink. Kuras helps parents get ready for their new bundle of joy. He longs to fins his mate and start a family. This is a story of give and take. Trusting the other to be understanding and waiting for what you want. I received a copy for an honest review and I can't wait for the next in this series.
This is a spectacular addition to the series. Kuras and Bronas are wonderful characters who have an instant spark as they realize they are fated mates. Just because they're fated mates doesn't make it an easy road for them. I loved seeing Bronaz slowly letting Kuras in as Kuras slowly breaks down the walls Bronaz has built around his heart. It was great seeing all of the guys again and I can't wait for the next one. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
Love this series. Well written good characters. Bronaz is a good example of carrying guilt and shutting people out. Finding his fated mate finally gives him his life back. Should be read after the first 2 books.
Very well written. Love this series. Dragons are really cool shifters. Bronaz is well described and a good example of guilt keeping you from truly living. Finding his fated mate helped him truly learn to live.
The boys are back and we get to see Bronaz find his fated mate Kuras. Bronaz has some personal barriers to get through. He runs hot and cold with poor Kuras. I loved that all of these guys talk to each other. No stony silences or ignoring it when one of them has a struggle. Kuras is wonderfully strong and at moments seems more put together than Bronaz. A bit more of the intrigue that is woven throughout the series is untangled. Adult read
This story made me smile and laugh out loud sometimes. It is a mix of danger and overprotective males. When the going gets tough the Omega step up to meet whatever is causing the disturbance. The poor Alpha's are left to follow and guard them.
A great book makes you feel something and this one will have you from the beginning.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
Kuras spends his days helping pregnant humans and omegas adjust to their pregnancies all while dreaming of his own someday. Bronaz doesn’t seem to want to make up his mind about their mating and pulls Kuras close just to push him away later.
In this book we go deeper into the mystery that began in the first book and even find some more about the people causing trouble but there is more to be done to fix the problems. This book had the alpha doing the push and pull instead of the omega like the last book. I just can’t help but feel like there is something missing from the stories and they end right after the characters fulfill their mating, there just isn’t much about them actually working through their relationship past accepting the mating.
I really enjoyed this book. This is the first time I've read anything from this author and I can't wait for the next book in this series. Love the characters and storyline. I will refer this series to my fellow readers. Don't make us wait too long for the next book. I would like to know what the twins names will be. Keep them coming.
This was my favorite in the series so far. I liked both Bronaz and Kuras. It was fun to see Kuras chip away at Naz's walls to ensure that their mating happened. I also liked that we got a lot more happen with the larger series story arc in this book.
It was cute, although there was a lot of reading the same thing happening from each perspective... that's not necessary to the storyline. It was a quick read.
