Lizzie McGuire always tries to stay out of Kate Sanders's way. Ever since Kate made cheerleader, she has become the most popular girl in school. And she's turned into a major she-beast -- the kind that likes to hunt defenseless Lizzies. Yikes! But when Kate injures her ankle in cheerleading practice, the other girls kick her off the squad. Suddenly, Kate isn't so popular anymore. Lizzie wants to he;p her old friend...but Kate still won't give her the time of day. Can Lizzie get Kate to admit that - for once - she actually needs Lizzie's help?
Another fun Disney Channel novelization. What's not to like?
EDIT: The first time I saw the second episode adapted here--that is, the one about Kate's party--the scene where Jo brings the madness to a screeching halt had me laughing out loud. I also remember seeing the first story on the ABC Kids Saturday morning block. In high school, I was known for being a big fan of Disney Channel shows such as Lizzie McGuire, Raven, and Suite Life; so, anything from those series is a reminder of my younger years. While things weren't perfect back then--in my life, when were they ever?--there were some great moments, and books like this bring back those memories.
Oh no here comes the terror. The plague that makes Lizzie angry and suffocated.Kate!!. Kate is a very popular girl. Only because she is rich, she looks beautiful and she is a cheerleader. Lizzie and Kate first use to be bestfriends though after Kate became the cheerleader. Kate got more popular and started to hate Lizzie. Now days in Lizzie school everyone buys there lunch very quickly and finds a seat to sit on. There are sometimes where you have to sit on the grass and Lizzie,Gordo and Miranda don't like that at all. Kate had also made such rules saying that they can't go to the hall where popular people hand out. Instead all the unpopular people have to hangout in the basement which is so torturing for them. They look like as if they are crushed into pieces. The only luch seat that was empty was the cheerleader table. The cheerleaders always use to make Lizzie mad because they can't sit on that table instead they have to sit on the grass. The next day Lizzie and her friends finally got a seat to sit on. Gordo and Miranda were glad because they finally got a seat. At lunch Lizzie and her friends were talking about the cheerleaders. The cheerleaders didn't hear what Lizzie was talking about because they were rehearsing. It was something that Lizzie wished that would happen. To know what happened next read Lizzie Mcquire "The Rise and Fall of the Kate Empie".
Another nostalgic two in one book. I like how the books have similar outcomes with Kate and show how you can overcome your enemy for the greater good. Side plots of the hilarious and mischievous brother.
Can somebody please put all the old Disney books base on the shows we all loved and watch growing up on Kindle please so we could read with our kids please and read for ourselves for good laughs I want to purchase these books on my Kindle but I can't because they don't have them on Kindle but you could buy the book on Amazon I would like to have them on my tablet can't buy no books kids will destroy them 💕🤧🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I like this book as reading in my freetime when i have absolutely nothing better to do, but i do really like it and again, it's a book that anyone can relate to with bullies and feeling like your being treated unfairly, so there's no point in not recommending it :)
I think these books would have been more fun if they had new stories instead of just being Lizzie Mcguire episodes in written form. But I probably liked reading the books as long as I hadn't already watched the same episode on TV. I absolutely adore Lizzie Mcguire, well the TV series at least.
this book was a little bit over the topp with the charechter of Kate whic i thought was really good because you never knew what was going to happen next!
