I started to follow the series and Marcum intrigued me from the beginning. I confess I had no good opinion of him, but in the second book I decided to give the character a chance.
Curiosity was stronger than my disgust with a womanizer full of children with several different women. And the author being one of my favorites also weighed on my decision.
The author presents facets of his personality that make us look at him differently and start to like him. The heroine does not disappoint us and is lovable although her life was not easy.
The story is full of action, hot scenes and I just love it when the villains have their brains blown.
I really liked it and highly recommend it!

He reminds me of Kris Kristofferson in looks, or maybe even Sam Elliot like he was in the movie Roadhouse.

I was hesitant to read this one as it stated Hero has 8 kids! Turns out not all 8 are his, the eldest (probably in his 20s) is his and twins Harley and Desi are.
Overall, I enjoyed this book. The Hero and heroine are both likeable characters.

Wow! What a ride! Marcus is so much wrapped up in to one man. He's strong, intimidating, loyal, protective, cocky, alpha, oh so dirty, sweet, loving, and just amazing! His story is full of twists and shockers, things that make you think and things that totally pull you in and love him. Toi is sweet, feisty, a strong woman that doesn't back down. I had to fight the tears. The writing is spot on, the flow is perfect and I may be crossing my fingers that we get to hear from a few of the other guys as well. This is a definite must read!

I don't even know where to start Jordan Marie! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! You are easily one of my top 5 authors. Marcum and Toi's story gave me all the feels. The story line, magnificent! Unwritten Rules is my favorite read of the year! Please don't ever stop writing.

Pretty good read. Interesting plot. I read this book without reading the others. Didn’t matter too much, but no background on the Max history. I am going to read his book.
Marcum is interesting. A dirty old man for sure. A pretty big age gap. That doesn’t bother me too much in this story. Toi has gone through a great deal and that at times makes her as old as Marcum. But I laugh because real ages were never mentioned.
The part that makes me not give this book more stars is the concept of Toi not having a voice. Where moments in the story she has a voice and others not. It seemed convenient at times.
Good read will check out the first two books of the series.

Marcum doesn't ask for permission, “getting ready for bed, Dragonfly.” I grin when her eyes dilate and her mouth opens in surprise. She shakes her head no, and shakes it harder when I undo my belt. “You’re cute, Toi, but I’m getting in this bed with you.” I loved this book, Toi was a feisty one she didn't put up wit Marcum's crap. I loved the banter that went on between the two, and the bond that was there with the brotherhood.

WOW!! Jordan Maries breaks out the big guns with Unwritten Rules.
She never ceases to amaze me with her talent to expose EVERY emotion that you have and tear them to shreds before she slowly puts them back together.
Marcum and Toi don't have your "normal" start to their relationship, Marcum is the king of his palace and Toi a damaged soul that needs saving even though she is unaware.
The deep connection between these 2 characters are off the charts and there are some explosive scenes that make you blush!! Truly PHENOMENAL!!!
She never ceases to amaze me with her talent to expose EVERY emotion that you have and tear them to shreds before she slowly puts them back together.

She's "barely" legal according to the story and he's "much" older than her, even though his age was never mentioned. He's the father of the hero in book 1 and in that book, his son is 30 years old so I'm putting this hero at late 40s/early 50s and I'm putting her at 18/19/20.

I have to admit, I love everything Jordan Marie/Baylee Rose writes. That being said, my favorites are Beast and Beauty. Unwritten Rules, Marcum and Toi's story runs as close to those books as one can get.
I laughed, I cried, I wanted to kill Marcum. I even wanted to kill Jordan Marie! But in the end I loved the way this story played out!

Loved Marcum and Toi...there was so much in this story...in classic Jordan style, this book gave me all the feels I wanted...and so much more...Marcum has quite the story to tell and as the pages turn..I didn’t want to leave...I was captivated...loved it...

I finished this book several hours ago and still don't know where to begin with this review.
First I will start by saying I LOVE Jordan Marie and everything she has written from the beginning. Unwritten Rules is by far the BEST book I have EVER read and trust me, I have read plenty of books.
Toi is my favorite character so far, shh... Don't tell Crusher 😉. She has a horrible past which she doesn't let get in her way. When she gets thrown in the role of babysitter to 7 year-old twins, Desi and Harley, she does her best with never being around children before. She's such a spitfire who doesn't give up on what she wants without a fight!
Marcum is a grumpy man who has given up on woman after his old lady Cherry left. That is until his oldest son, Max, gets into his head about the young woman he's trying to protect, Toi.
When there's a threat to Toi, Marcum does everything in his power to protect her, his children, and his men.
There's so many things I love about this book. It's we'll written, the characters are amazing we'll except the one biotch who I found I dislike more than Dani, which I thought would never happen ;) , even the threat to Toi is more tolerable. I hope we get to see more of these characters in the future 😘

such an amazing book!! This isn't what you think youve heard about but so much more! Honestly I'm diagusted with the negative reviews from people who didnt even read it because they dobt know what they are talking about...so easy to judge something without any info! Marcum is unlike any alpha out there and such an honest,loving man who has no issues being him!! His Dragonfly has been hurt by the one who was supposed to treaaure her...she is what he never knew was waiting for him!! Also amazing secondary characters! I laughed my butt off, cringe,shed some tears and screamed while eating this!! Jordan you outdid it with this! Thank u!

This book was awful. So bad I'll probably never read anther book from this author. You never have any idea how old Marcos is, Toi is a pitiful lead character and all the drama/gang issues/ex-girlfriend/children problems were just silly.

As the Steel Vipers Mc prez, Marcum has seen it all, but when he takes the much younger, semi-mute young woman as collateral until her deadbeat father, “Weasel,” can pay off his debt, he never imagined he would fall hopelessly in love for the first time in his life! But can this fiery“Dragonfly” and this crusty ol’ Mc Prez go the distance?
Jordan Marie knocked my socks off once again! Marcum and Toi have such smoldering chemistry, their visceral, soul-deep connection was incredibly touching, and the sex was PANTY MELTING HOT!! Plus, the way the spirited, achingly innocent beauty brings out the primal protector and sweetly chivalrous side to this bad to the bone biker made my heart flood with joy!!!
God Marcum just OWNED me!!!! Mature Alpha heroes are all the rage right now, and I can unabashedly say I would love to take a ride on the wild side with Marcum!! This macho MC Prez was so FORMIDABLE and DOMINANTLY SEXY, FEROCIOUSLY PROTECTIVE and GRUFFLY TENDER, and I loved how he claimed Toi from the start even though his skittish dragonfly did not want to be caught!!!
And OMFG...my poor aching ovaries! The fact that this big, badass outlaw was such a gentle and nurturing dad to his brood of kids just undid me! I especially loved when he interacted with his precious 7 year old twins. Sighhhh…Desi was too sweet for words, and her surly, adorably defiant brother Harley just killed me with cuteness…and decimated my heart! That little tough talkin’ hellion in training is Marcum’s son in EVERY way, and is guaranteed to be a total HEARTBREAKER with the ladies one day!
However, as enthralled as I was with this story, I struggled at times to relate to this heroine, which is NOT the norm for me with JM's heroines. Although I really empathized with this wounded heroine’s plight and truly admired her strength, fire and resilience, it took me a while to warm up to her because she was so gosh darn temperamental! Don't get me wrong...I appreciate palpable discord in my romances, but because Toi held Marcum at arm's length for so much of the book she came across as rather pissy and bratty. And after everything Marcum did to protect her, it kind of irked me how ungrateful she acted, stubbornly rejecting his kindness and affectionate overtures seemingly at every turn! Arghhh… I mean how could she NOT see how 100 percent devoted Marcum was to his “Dragonfly?!”
But yay there was a light at the end of this tunnel! Because once Toi FINALLY surrendered to her all encompassing love for Marcum, and claimed the hot, ruggedly sexy Prez for herself, I ended up loving her! Something I NEVER envisioned happening, which proves what a miracle worker this author is!
As for the overarching suspense plot, it was PHENOMENAL! There was truly not a DULL MOMENT from start to finish! There was plenty of thrilling mob action, bloodshed, drama, angst and treachery to keep me on pins and needles throughout, finally culminating in an explosive showdown at the end that was hands down one of the MOST RIVETING climaxes I have read this year. Which of course paved the way for Toi and Marcum’s hard-fought HEA that made me DELIRIOUS WITH JOY! Plus the interaction with the Steel Vipers MC brothers was FANFREAKINGTASTIC and the cameo appearances by Romeo and Max (heroes from previous FFA installments) was icing on the cake!
Fingers crossed that this is not the last we will see of these Filthy Florida Alphas!

Holy smokin duck balls Jordan!!! I’m speechless but not typeless. I laughed, I may have cried a bit add in a few homicidal urges and the need for a cold shower to name a few. Marcum may not seem to be a sweetheart, you know Alpha badarse, MC President, all round rough and tough guy etc, etc, etc, but deep down and the right woman it’s amazing what hidden depths are bought to the surface. As for Toi, she’s tough, sweet and yet fragile all rolled up in a package that brings Marcum to his knees. Awesome job!!!

Unwritten Rules is a great story. I really enjoyed it. Jordan Marie did a fantastic job on it. The book was well written and had a great plot. I couldn't put the book down. Marcum and Toi were strong characters. Loved the protectiveness and possessiveness. Marcum and Toi were made for each other. The connection and chemistry between Marcum and Toi was off the charts strong and sexy. They were great for one another. I enjoyed their journey. This was a great book. I love Jordan Marie's writing. She tells stories that are hard to read sometimes, but in the end are beautiful love stories because they're so unconventional. Unwritten Rules is one of those stories. I'll admit, going in I wasn't a fan of this hero. Heck, I wasn't even crazy about the heroine at first either. But, as is the case when I read this author's words, the story took over and I couldn't help but get swept up into it.
I love Jordan Marie's writing. She tells stories that are hard to read sometimes, but in the end are beautiful love stories because they're so unconventional. Unwritten Rules is one of those stories. Wow! Jordan Maire has done it again and brought us reader's another unforgettable couple! I loved Marcum and Toi's story so much with the unexpected twists and turns and the way the character's personality and feelings were expressed. It also reminds reader's that love and true passion and romance will and can conquer any obstacles thrown into life and relationships.

Marcum and Toi’s story starts unconventionally and despite the age difference ( which some may not agree with) the chemistry and connection is undeniable.
I enjoyed this story it’s got the normal danger associated with an MC story then we have the building romance between the two main characters and some really hot sex scenes.

Just like every time, Jordan draws you in from the first pages. I absolutely loved it. I love Marcum, he's all Alpha, just the way I like them

Unwritten Rules is a hidden gem!
I happened across this book and glad I did. It has a unique storyline, hot dominant MC men, a strong yet innocent female lead, action, no club wh@£€s and some hot sexy times. Hea and 2 epilogues.
