Infinite Adventures in Numberless Worlds

Unbound is a universal roleplaying game with a twist: the players and the gamesmaster create the world, the plot and the adversaries during character creation. Using a series of leading questions and and a rule system that lets players fill in the gaps with their imagination, you'll craft a unique setting together - and then get out there and explore it!

Unbound supports short, linked campaigns and has an innovative, fast-paced combat system that puts pressure on players to make tactical decisions every turn. To play Unbound, you'll need a group of 3 to 6 players, a gamesmaster, and one deck of regular playing cards per player.

I'm not usually drawn to relatively generic rulesets, but this one was a very positive surprise. Involved collaborative session 0 worldbuilding concepts, fun card-based resolution system, a variety of cool PC and NPC abilities, and most of all, very accessible GMing advice and structuring. Plus, lots of neat tables.

A very barebones book. Not a lot of fluff or juice. Looks like it's good for playing from, though.

Would love to play it. But just reading it was very enjoyable and there are many tips than can help running / playing any other game.
