kiss the girl tara sivec

Kiss the Girl is book three in the Naughty Princess Club series by Tara Sivec. I just did finish this book and feel like gushing I loved it so much. Maybe it was even my favorite of the three. This series is a trio of fairy tale retellings. First we had Cinderella, next Beauty and the Beast, now we have Ariel and her very own prince charming, Eric. These are three women who have all hit rock bottom. Together they found friendship and support and came up with a way to regain their independence, to get their feet back under them again, by starting a stripping business.

Ariel Waters

Thanks to her ex-husband, Ariel Waters lost everything. During their years married, he slowly stripped her of every ounce of self confidence. Even now, when she looks in the mirror, she still sees the woman he told her she was, not good enough. Cindy and Belle are both dancing now for their business. But Ariel, even though she puts on a blustery show, is only doing the administrative duties for their business. She just can’t put herself out there. Now, on top of everything else, she is losing the only things she has left to call her own, her house and her antiques that she collected, because she couldn’t keep up the mortgage payments.

Ever since Ariel met Eric Sailor, it seemed like he did everything possible to antagonize her. So why is it that whenever he was anywhere near her, just the sound of his voice or the smell of his cologne would raise goosebumps? On the day when everything fell apart, it was Eric that seemed to know just the right thing to say and do to help her.

As Ariel gets to know Eric better, she sees the real Eric that she didn’t notice before. The good man, the man that really sees her! He makes her laugh, and he looks at her like she’s his everything.

Ariel kissing Eric

But, the waters aren’t all smooth sailing for these two. This story also comes with an evil witch. And she does NOT want Ariel to get her happy ending. What Ariel does have, in addition to a man who adores her, is two best friends. And when things go down hill for Ariel, they are right there for her in the most hilarious of ways.

This story has everything. Ariel’s Dad is hilarious. And with these three women, there is constant craziness. There might even be some goat yoga involved!

goat yoga

Can you read this as a stand alone? Yes. But, then you wouldn’t really understand the closeness of these three women and what they have all gone through to get where they are now. I feel like this book was a little longer than the others? I’m not positive about that. What I am positive about is how much I loved it. I also loved the way Tara Sivec wrapped everything up with all three couples. It was perfect.

Pole Dancing

So get those one click fingers busy and get started on this series. Get to know Cindy, Belle and then Ariel and the men who love them. Prepare to laugh, sigh, swoon, maybe even cringe a time or two. And prepare to fall in love, just as I have.

Kiss the Girl is the third and final book in Tara Sivec's The Naughty Princess Club and OMG I love this series! These books are hilarious, sexy, fun, and so entertaining! Each book just gets better and better, and this is my favorite one.

Ariel is the feisty, spunky, and outrageous princess of the bunch. She is so much more than what she seems. Sure, she is a hoot, but she is also a woman who is hurting on the inside. Eric is seriously the PERFECT guy for Ariel. He’s been after her from the first moment he met her. What I loved most about Eric is that he lets Ariel be herself and loves her for it. He wants to bring the best out in her, not change her. What a man!

Another great thing about these books is that they are not just stories of romance. They are stories about strong and independent women who work on fixing themselves and just happen to find love along the way.

If you love romantic comedies that focus on friendship, and comradely, these are the books for you! They are loads of fun and the perfect funny reads with lots of heart!
“Can I kiss the girl now?” he whispers. “You’re so cheesy. And no, you can’t kiss me. I’m in charge here. I’ll kiss you.”

What an enjoyable surprise!!! This book made me smile and laugh and of course I fell in love yet again with another man. I’ve enjoyed this author in the past, it’s been awhile since I’ve read her and I’m kicking myself. I forget how much fun I have 😁

Ariel is a fiesty, witty, beautiful, and loving heroine. She looks out for and takes care of those she loves. She isn’t looking for love, heck she isn’t looking for anything but getting her business up and running with her two best friends. So what happens when she is court ordered to evict her home and leave all her belongings? Where does she turn to and whom?

Eric comes to Ariel’s rescue, yes we have a Little Mermaid tale come to life. Eric is a rich, powerful, and sexy as sin single business owner that has been knocked on his ass since he first sees Ariel. Her potty mouth and her beautiful body has held his complete attention and he’s willing to do anything to catch her eye. He knows he’s in for a fight so why not start at taking her in when she’s evicted with nowhere to go. Cue the fireworks, and I mean fireworks in every area possible 💥

The journey we get to go on watching Eric & Ariel’s relationship grow, struggle, and to either give up or give in is a laugh out loud journey. I loved it. I highlighted the heck out of quotes that came from Eric’s swoon worthy mouth. These are just a couple:

“Seeing you broken and hurting and sad is like having someone stick a fucking knife in my chest. I don’t like it. So I’m pissing you off because it brings me great joy to see you fired up.”

“You’re the rarest antique I’ve ever seen, and I want to spend the rest of my life making sure you know how perfectly imperfect and extraordinary you are.”

I wish we could have gotten more to the ending, it was a bit rushed in my opinion, of course you get the sense of what happens with Eric & Ariel, especially with the sweet epilogue we get, but my lover in me wanted more, yet I still loved and enjoyed it all ❤️

One of these days, Ariel, you are going to get your own fairy tale and I’m going to point and laugh at you when it happens.”

This book should come with a warning: DO NOT READ IN PUBLIC for fear of people thinking you may be crazy. Why? Because it will cause you to laugh like a lunatic at every page. I'm talking full belly laugh, tears in your eyes, laugh so hard you may pee sort of hilarity here. It was my favorite book in this series. And I loved the rest of this series, people! Maybe it's in part because I'm convinced that the foul-mouthed, sassy, snarky yet with a hidden vulnerable side, Ariel, is actually my spirit animal.
Ah-ha!” I shout, pointing at the smug little asshole across from me. “Now who looks like an idiot? I don’t use my phone for that. NO ONE USES THEIR PHONE FOR PHONE CALLS! WE USE THEM TO TEXT PEOPLE, TO GOOGLE RANDOM SHIT LIKE IF YOU CAN DIE FROM A RUNNY NOSE, AND TO FIND A FUNNY MEME ABOUT HERPES!”
“Oh, Jesus,” Cindy mutters.
“Please, don’t be difficult, ma’am,” the older deputy says with a sigh.
“Piss off. I’m not difficult. I’m a fucking delight,” I mutter in annoyance.

See what I mean? Spirit animal, people!

But she's also the loudest and crudest of the three friends, and I loved her for it. The sexual tension between her and Eric was always sizzling. There's just something about the hate/lust thing that they had going that just did it for me. Oh it did it for me so hard. Eric knows exactly how to handle Ariel, much to her annoyance. So when she finds herself evicted from her home and has to leave all her beloved antiques behind, he has no problem being her white knight. Even if she does threaten his life and his balls in the process.

Suddenly Ariel finds herself living on a neighboring yacht to Eric, who inherited his family yacht business and had one to spare. The sparring between them doesn't decrease but the sexual tension only continues to mount. Add into that one evil looking hairless cat named Derrick Alfredo and all of the hilarity ensues.
Care to tell me why you’re holding a cat that’s inside out against your crotch?” my dad suddenly asks, pointing at Derrick Alfredo. “He . . . uh . . . likes the warmth. You know, since he doesn’t have any hair and he’s always cold. My dick warmth comforts him, sir,” Eric replies with a nervous clear of his throat. “And here I thought you were just covering up a boner. I like this guy, Ariel,” my dad states, clapping Eric on the shoulder before he walks over to the couch and makes himself comfortable.

I loved every single hilarious chapter. I adored the slow built sizzle between Ariel and Eric. I loved the way he just knows how to handle her and brings out the spot gooey side of this spitfire.

I also love the friendships between them all. The girls have a bond to put Sex And The City to shame. I adore their friendship and the way they care for each other. I also love the heck out of their banter.
This is such a good idea. You’re so pretty and smart. We should make out.”
“Jesus, Belle, stop trying to kiss me. We’ve got important smit to do. Slit to do. Shiffy do.”
“I think the words you’re looking for are ‘shit to do.’”
“STOP TELLING ME WHAT TO DO PJ! I’VE GOT SHIFFY DO!”
“My teeth feel funny. Do I still have teeth, Vincent?”
“You still have teeth, sweetheart.”

I loved every single page of this hilarious romcom. I never wanted it to end. I adore the devious comedic mind of Tara Sivec and the way her characters practically leap out of the pages at you. If you're looking for a book to put a ridiculous smile on your face for days after you finish it, this is simply a must read. A. Must. Read.

Another enchanting laugh out loud trip down Fairytale Lane✨

There you see her
Sitting there across the way
She don't got a lot to say
But there's something about her
And you don't know why
But you're dyin' to try
You wanna kiss the girl 🧜🏻‍♀️
-Little Mermaid1989

I absolutely love this series and I’m sad that this is the last book, but I’m excited to see what the brilliant Tara Sivec has in store for us next! Tara is the queen of the romcom, laugh out loud stories filled with snarky Heroines and swoon worthy heroes.... this series was a bunch of fun especially if you are a princess fan, we got a Cinderella story, a Beauty and the Beast story, and now my favorite princess Ariel!

Ariel is feisty, fierce, and a bunch of fun! She is also about to be evicted not only losing her home but all her precious antiques...Eric is a handsome millionaire playboy who has always had a thing for Ariel... but Ariel is a proud self sufficient woman who does not want to be silenced again by a man.... so will Ariel be able to put aside her pride and take some help from Eric? Will Cindy and Belle be able to talk some sense into her?

The romance in the story is sweet and hot and spicy! BUT what I love even more is the friendship between these three ladies! In this book as in the previous books they are so supportive and there for each other... this is another thing Tara Sivec does so well there are always strong female friendships in her books that almost over shine the romance... friend groups that you would love to be part of... love to go out and have some drinks and fun with! But these are also the friends that pick you up when you’re down that show up on your door at two in the morning with a tub of icecream because some guy did something....

Such a wonderful whimsical story, absolutely recommend! Be sure you pick up this book with your sense of humor intact!

And they all lived happily ever after!

Ariel’s story! Ah Ariel. I was a little nervous about this one, as Ariel has long been the harshest of all the girls with her potty mouth and extreme in-your-face opinions. But her story grew on me, and I enjoyed watching her romance with Erik unfold, particularly with all the funny “Little Mermaid” references. Plus, this one had a hilarious cast of side characters And an awesome cat!

Kiss the Girl by Tara is the third book from the contemporary romance Naughty Princess Club series. Each book in the series features a different couple but all three ladies are introduced in the first book and an overall story carries on between installments leaving this best enjoyed reading from the beginning.

The first book of this series, At the Stroke of Midnight, introduced all three of the female leads in the series as they came together and became friends. The trio couldn’t be more opposite of one another with Cindy being an uptight recent divorcee, Belle the nerdy and shy librarian and Ariel the wild, crazy and outspoken one. The ladies had shown up at a function all wearing princess costumes and were offered a job working a party. Thinking children’s party they hastily agreed since all were in need of money but little did they know it was definitely adult and they were expected to strip. After running like crazy they rethought their retreat and came up with the idea to form their new business the Naughty Princess Club.

The fun part of this series is that these ladies are loosely based on the fairy tale princesses and now in this third installment it is Ariel’s turn to find her happiness and learn to shake her booty. Ariel has always been the outspoken of the trio but readers finally get to see her true self as she struggles after being evicted from her home and losing all of her antiques. Eric comes to the rescue giving Ariel a place to stay but can he tame the feisty Ariel and open up her heart again?

As I’ve said with the previous books in this series words aren’t enough to show how much I absolutely adore these books. Tara Sivec has written the perfect combination of humor, sexiness and added a dash of creativity with the fairy tale twist. But not only do I laugh all throughout and my Kindle may get a little steamy but she’s given an underlying message of female empowerment showing her characters growing and maturing to be able to take care of themselves before beginning their relationships. Again, I definitely recommend checking out the entire series as I don’t think anyone would regret laughing and smiling so much!

I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley.

4 Saving Your Own F&@king Self Stars
* * * * Spoiler Free-It's Live!!!
When you think about all the fairy tales we have been raised on, it is usually the damsel in distress and the man rides in and saves her making it a Happily Ever After. This has been the standard forever. But recently, to quote a 1985 song written by Annie Lennox and David Allan Stewart of Eurythmics and recorded as a duet with American soul/R&B singer Aretha Franklin:

"Now there was a time when we used to say
That behind every great man
There had to be a great woman
But in these times of change
You know that it's no longer true
So we're comin' out of the kitchen
'Cause there's somethin' we forgot to say to you (we say)

Sisters are doin' it for themselves
Standin' on their own two feet
And ringin' on their own bells
Said, sisters are doin' it for themselves"

Yes, Sisters are doin' it for themselves!

This was what The Naughty Princess Club Series was ALL about. Tara Sivec took the stories we grew up with and twisted them into engaging current Cinderella, Beauty and Beast and this last entry, The Little Mermaid.

These books do not have to read in order... yet when they are, they add more punch.

In Kiss the Girl...we have Ariel.
She has been the most mouthy and in your face character. She is part of this women trio who all were either trapped by a domineering father or experienced a horrible marriage. Ariel had a husband who over time made her doubt herself and feel as if her body wasn't up to par.

The joke was that Ariel she was amazing in her ability to run her antique business and she actually had a smokin' hot body with a beautiful face. But most of all she had passion and a huge heart. Oh, and she had a mouth that would shock the most corrupt sailor....

Yes, Ariel had No Shame in her Game... in fact that was her way of fronting and not letting anyone know she might have something to be insecure about. She was a constant in your face type of gal with sarcasm and cutting humor galore.

These woman had created this home stripping business out of shock and necessity. They each divided the responsibilities and Ariel was doing all of the paperwork...

But things got out of sorts because Ariel was having a tough time recognizing how serious her financial situation was... she had turned a blind eye not wanting to deal with the foreclosure of her home. She already had to close her antique store and the idea of losing all of her things she had in her home was too much. She had tried to get a roommate and had made a few payments...

Yet, when Ariel ends up coming home after a day with the gals who were trying to cheer her up, the sheriffs are there ready to impound her house. Her friends call in re-reinforcements, their new boyfriends and Eric, the co owner of the strip club.

Eric Sailor is a man who knows what he wants...and what he wants is Ariel. From the first moment they crossed paths and she told him to F@#k off, he was smitten. He loved her passion, her fire and the woman who was in his face. Eric felt drawn to her and decided then and their he was going to wait and find his moment to pursue her.

Seeing his in-his-mind-woman so defeated and lost, Eric knew how to get her moving. He started immediately pushing her buttons to get her pissed instead of meek. By doing that, he was able to get her to figure out what she needed to save out of her house. Little did Ariel know, she was going to move into one of the yachts he had in the harbor.

These two start to have this relationship that Ariel doesn't understand. She first thought she hated Eric... he was too arrogant, too full of himself and way to handsome with dimples, no less...But over time, he begins to break down her walls and build up her self esteem.

This story was the last of the series and in many ways it has become a favorite of the readers. For me, the main draw was Eric...I would like one of him PLEASE. STAT! He had everything going for him and how he took his time with Ariel was perfect...

Ariel was a special type of woman. She was someone who was in your face almost 24/7. I found her fun and quick for a lot of the time... but there was a point where it was a lot, too. I got who she was and appreciated all she had gone through. I wanted her to have the HEA she thought she wasn't going to have... and was thrilled when everything came together.

The book has a perfect epilogue for this current fairy tale series and Tara Sivec has made a terrific name for herself.

Ariel Waters lives on Fairytale Lane and is a collector of antiques. She owns a business called the Naughty Princess Club with her two best friends Cindy & Belle. They are all becoming the strong, independent women they were meant to be. Ariel has been handling the administrative side of the business, but wants to soon take on more. She's divorced and needs to get out of debt. Her life suddenly begins to fall apart around her, and a person she wouldn't expect shows her kindness in her time of need.

Eric Sailor is a gorgeous, Greek millionaire playboy. Ariel has always found him annoying, but when he unexpectedly comes to her rescue she soon realizes he's sweet, thoughtful, and charming. He seemed to know exactly what she needed. It's like he knows her deep down. He's been a constant thorn in her side since they met, but now she finds this hot, funny guy irresistible. He's breaking down her walls, and showing her how amazing she is. She's never really believed in fairy tales for herself, but she's tired of fighting her feelings for Eric. Could he be her happily ever after?

This was such a fun, lighthearted, series about girl power, friendship, and fairy tales. I loved each book, but Ariel's was my favorite!

So, I'm rating this book 3.25 stars. Honestly, I was going to stop at 14%. But, I kept on going since I loved the previous books. And, I'm glad I did since it got a lot better. But, I do have to say, the reason I didn't like this book as much as the previous was Ariel's personality and overall character. There was diffidently times when she got tiring, repetitive, and gave me a headache. But in the end she was more bearable and got better but still her personality made this read less enjoyable and kinda unliked for me. And, that's why this isn't rated four stars from me and the reason I almost stopped reading this book all together. I didn't have any other issues with this book other than Ariel. But, in the end if you don't like the main character it's hard to like the book. Although, The ending was perfect and a great wrap up for all the couples in this series.

It’s not just stripping, it’s business…

I started this series a little squinty-eyed at the women in The Naughty Princess Club for their choice to become strippers. Yes, the huge judgemental cow that I am, I was worried that their love interest didn’t mind that they took their clothes off for other men. What Tara Sivec manages, in a very convincing way, is to make these women powerful for choosing their business and taking control. This control is both mental and physical. These women feel stronger for setting their path, taking control of the journey, and taking control of their financial well-being.

In Kiss the Girl we finally get to the feisty Ariel and the very tolerant, Eric. To be honest, I wasn’t that impressed when I started reading. I was worried that I had set too high an expectation that Ariel was going to be this confident woman who was totally in control. Yep, you guessed it, she’s human, flaws and all. I was also a little concerned that Eric seemed to love Ariel who absolutely hated him. It seemed like he had a screw loose. What could he possibly see in someone who swore and sneered at him on a regular basis?

Once the pieces fall into place we start to understand where Ariel has been and what has shaped her choices and how she came to be financially ruined. By the end, I got exactly what I was hoping for. Ariel regained her confidence, was again out-spoken, feisty and completely in control. Eric, well he was just plain dreamy. I loved that he understood Ariel, wanted her from their first meeting and set a game plan to Kiss the Girl.

It’s a funny thing, in each instalment of this series, I meet the heroine and convince myself there’s no way I’m going to love this story. The females seem weak and silly, gullible and lacking in common sense. Well, Tara Sivec writes magic very convincingly. She pulls out her magic wand, and with a bibbidi-bobbidi-boo, I’m seeing a strong, intelligent and confident and savvy woman. Magic, I tell you. Each of these women grows so much throughout their story and through the whole series. Not just because they found the men in their lives. These women’s lives are enhanced because of their man. Their success was of their own making.

I absolutely LOVED the connection between each story and a fairytale. I felt like such a goose for not identifying each one as it arises and only realising after reading that thing over and over and over again. I’m not going to tell you them, but I wonder if you’ll recognise them the first glimpse or the 3rd, 5th or 10th?

I’m sad that this series has come to an end. I did meet a few characters who I would love to meet again. There’s a certain lawyer that I would love to see find her happy ever after.

I LOVED this story so much! I laughed, I swooned, I shed a little tear... KTG has ALL the feels, and it's so much fun!

Ariel is the brash, sassy leader of the Naughty Princess Club, but it's all a facade! She's hiding some major shit, and it all hits the fan as our story opens. Lucky for her (and us), ultra-sexy Eric Sailor steps up to help her out...

HOT HOT HOT! Ariel + Eric = SEXY... and funny and banter galore. The name-dropping references are a fun plus for fans of The Little Mermaid, but they're not overwhelming--just winking nods to one of MY favorite Disney films.

If you haven't started this series yet, DO IT. I've read all three books, and they're just the right blend of happy, sass, and sexy!

This was my first book by Tara Sivec and I have to say a very different experience for me. I've never read a romance novel like this one. I would definitely have to say this a different romance genre in my opinion.

And.... I would have to say wasn't really the biggest fan. Ariel had quiet the foul mouth on her... don't get me wrong I don't mind characters cussing but it was a tad too much for my taste and it turned me off to her character a lot.

I felt like I honestly was reading a Disney novel.. and I think this was the authors intent to have a spin off of Disney characters but ehhh this just didn't do it for me.

I don't think I'd read another book by this author. Just not my cup of tea. I also know nothing about the first 2 books in this series and feel like you need to have read the beginning of the series to have a full understanding of the books/author.

2.5 stars

3.5 - "Your boat or mine..?" Stars!

The third book in Tara Sivec’s Naughty Princess Club Series; Kiss the Girl, gives us mouthy princess; Ariel Water’s story. Any Disney aficionado will know immediately who her namesake is, so it will come as no surprise that her potential suitor is none other than Eric Sailor.

"One of these days you are going to get your own fairytale…"

I’ll admit, I did start this one with a little trepidation, as you would expect being a founding member of the club with Cindy and Belle, Ariel has played a pivotal role in the previous two books, and I have been on the fence through those two stories as to whether I actually liked her. I have read this authors work before so her brash, ballsy and outspoken female leads are not new to me, but there has just been something about Ariel that has given me pause.

I refuse to be stupid over a man again…

I liked this one, I didn’t love it, and it was basically because although I liked the independent, take-no-shit attitude Ariel exudes, at times it also made her come across as an ungrateful cow as well. If I was in the position of losing my house and possessions through eviction due to mounting debt and non-payment of my mortgage I would be absolutely mortified.

"You think you have to be this hard-ass, independent woman who can take care of everything on her own..."

To then act like an ungrateful shrew to someone trying to help me out, someone who I have been less than friendly with in the past, who has still stepped up and helped me out when I am at my lowest, just didn’t hit the right note with me.

"I’m not difficult… I’m a fucking delight."

I understood her motivations, and the reasonings as to why she was so prickly towards Eric, but it just went a little bit too far for me on more than one occasion. It was still a pretty entertaining read. Belle and Cindy reigned her in a lot of the time, and it was nice to see the villains get their just desserts.

I’ve felt less than perfect for years… I’ve been mistreated, misplaced, and misunderstood for most of my adult life, but I’m still around…

Great epilogue as well, it was good for all three of the Naughty Princesses get their own happily ever after. On the plus it was good to see a woman reclaim and own her self-confidence again, rather than keep hiding her lack of it behind attitude and snark.

Kiss the Girl is surprisingly my first Tara Sivec read. This is surprising, because I’m a sucker for romcoms and after reading KtG, I now know this author gives good romcom!

Kiss the Girl not only provides the laughs. It gives us look into the alternative world of a favorite cartoon princess, Ariel. A heroine who is strong and tough all by herself, but she’s been burned and broken by a man in the past. You can imagine the last thing she wants now is a man telling her what to do, or a man at all really. Insert the irritating but gorgeous, Eric when she’s going through a tough time. Somehow this beautiful man knows just how to get under her skin, and how to help her heal her heart without her even realizing it! Their story is funny, a bit angsty, and super steamy at some points.

Add in a cast of side characters that will keep you laughing and on your toes, and you’ve got a great romcom read.

This is the third book in a series, but I don’t feel that you have to read the others to understand this one. This book will spoil those a bit, so if you hate spoilers. I’d dive into those first. Do I plan to go back and read them now that I’ve read KtG? Yes. Yes I do!

4 "Fucking Perfect" stars!

With Sivec's trademark humor and steam, KISS THE GIRL is a sweet, sexy, empowering read that I loved from start to finish. Hopefully one day, I will be able to find my own prince hot stuff and live happily ever after.

Ariel Waters became my favorite princess since she opened her mouth in At the Stroke of Midnight. Her sassiness and dirty mouth made me fall in love with her, but it was her vulnerable side the one that won me over. It was a twist I was not expecting but one that I totally loved. The underlying message of female empowerment was FUCKING PERFECT!

But as much as I loved Ariel, I have to say Eric played a significant role in the story. He was Ariel's perfect match. There is no other way to describe it. A hero worthy of being added to your list of Book Boyfriends.

And the author not only delivered a pair of ah-mazing main characters but some second ones that made me laugh my ass off every time they show up throughout the story. I'm looking at you, Mr. Triton.

Tara Sivec can write about these characters for years, and I'd still read it.

Kiss the Girl was the last book of the series and in some way, a favorite of mine. The epilogue was one of the best ones I have read, but it was bittersweet because although I found myself happy that my girls got their HEA, I was sad because I didn't want this series to end.

So if you're looking for a light-hearted, I-put-a-smile-on-your-face, swoon-worthy tale with an explosive chemistry and funny as hell banter, then this is your book!

A good fairy tale retelling love story that will have you escaping from real life for a few hours.

Finally back with our three fairy tale strippers!

This last book is Ariel's. She's the ex antiques dealer who had to give up her shop because her husband left her and she couldn't afford the store anymore. And now she's also kind of homeless! The bank is taking her house and all her beloved antiques. And she has to move in with one of her girls for a while. But she doesn't want to bother their new lives with their new guys. So she kind of ends up living with Eric. The millionaire playboy and one of the bosses of the strip club and the guy she hates most in the world. Even though he smells so good and looks amazing and knows just how to deal with her crazy. But still. We hate him. Right??? And we'll never fall for a charming hot guy never ever again ...

What will happen with Ariel & Eric??
Will we get a happily ever after??
READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT! ☺

LOL!

The 3rd book was just as adorably funny as the first two!

Those three chicks are hilarious! Ariel, the antique dealer with absolutely NO filter. The prude housewife Cindy. Innocent librarian Belle. They SO don't fit together as best friends, but it works perfectly. And Belle and Cindy are not so innocent and prude as they used to be!!!

Ariel is still not really over her husband leaving her. It's not only that he left her. It's how he treated her all through the marriage ... and she even has to pay alimony!!

And then this hot and amazing-smelling guy comes to the rescue. Ugh. She wants to kill him. But he's helping and he's so sexy and grrr.

It's just adorable the way poor Ariel tries to resist Eric. And just as adorable how he's not at all bothered by what comes out of her mouth or flying towards his head. Because what comes out of her mouth is not really what's in her heart and mind. Too cute those two!

I LOVED every hilarious and adorable and sweet and sexy moment of this book

I SO need Netflix to come and make a show out of this series! ☺

Oh, I have to mention the cover! It's the best one of the three. The first ones were just weird with the guy and girl not interacting... but here we're even touching! Yay!

KISS THE GIRL was the most hilarious & sexy & adorable RomCom! Run to your nearest amazon asap - you need to meet these ladies! And Eric of course ... but HANDS OFF ... he's MINE!☺

If I had to mention something not-so-amazing. Just like the last book - we have this unnecessary drama moment at the 77% mark. All that stupid drama could've been avoided by just talking it out and dealing with it together. But nope. Books never do that. Why? Come up with something new and not always these unnecessary drama stuff moments. Drama is totally ok but give me amazing drama!

STILL 5 STARS 'CAUSE I LOOOVED THE BOOK AND THE EPILOGUEs!!!!! ☺

I think many romantic comedy readers would enjoy Kiss The Girl by Tara Sivec. Unfortunately this book didn’t work for me at all. I absolutely love rom-coms, but this one was just trying way too hard, desperately so. Everything was so over the top, that it got to be tiring. There’s goat yoga for crying out loud. There’s also karaoke, a hairless cat, an evil saboteur named Ursula, countless Disney references, strippers, and the most crass and rude heroine I’ve ever read.

The writing itself is good and I’ve enjoyed other books by Tara Sivec in the past. I just wasn’t a fan of this one.

***4 "Derrick Alfredo's licking balls!!! (Bahaha!!!)"stars***

Well, well... This was the last book in "The Naughty Princess Club" series and it was simply delightful!!!
I have to admit that i haven't read yet the first book, but I'm working on that...
The rest of them were so enjoyable and hillarious!!! I had so much fun reading about those three crazy women and their crazy ideas!!!
But let's stick in this book!!!

"You always had it in you. I just helped you find it again."

Ariel was the last single woman in the bunch and the last one in this stripper club who hasn't taken her clothes off YET!!! Bahahaha...
She also is a mouthy, bitchy, wonderful woman who is adoring her antics, her ten fishes, her irritating girlfriends and who is hating Eric Sailor's guts from the first hello!!!!

Well, at this point Ariel is in a very difficult position since she is losing everything for once again and now, in order to leave her girls in peace, she has to accept living close to the enemy...
At the same point, her ex is still trying to get under her skin and are making everything a big mess!!!
And between all of that, Eric is growing on her, but she can not depend on a guy!!!! That idea infuriates her!!!

Eric from the other hand, doesn't backing down to a challenge and Ariel is a great challenge for him... He is determined to do anything to win her tough and wild heart!!! Her bitchy mouth is turning him on and her sexy curves are exciting him... He must win her at any cost...
Goga, flee markets, Derrick Alfredo's antics are some of his attemps to be with her and that was something funny and beautiful at the same time to witness!!!

But Ariel has more insecurities as you think!!! And she will have to fight for her future...
Eric will always be there for her, but will she open up her heart to him??? To love???

“Seeing you broken and hurting and sad is like having someone stick a fucking knife in my chest. I don’t like it. So I’m pissing you off because it brings me great joy to see you fired up.”

I loved Ariel and her bitchy attitude!!!! I loved Eric and his determination!!!
As i loved and all the rest of the crew!!! And God, I loved Anastasia... She was absolutely awesome!!!
And i loved so god damn much Ariel's father and his certain... Skills!!! LOL
Oh, i also liked very much the three epilogues at the end!!! It was the perfect closure in this funny ride!!!

4 'KISS THE GIRL' STARS!

Ahhhh, you guys we finally have the most anticipated book 🙊!! Kiss the Girl is the final book in Tara Sivec's, The Naughty Princess Club series ❤. Ariel and Eric get their own story and we get a front row seat to the craziness as it unfolds!

The Little Mermaid happens to be a 2nd favorite story/movie of mine. I mean hello, who doesn't want to be a mermaid like Ariel #sigh🧜🏻‍♀️. This modern retelling of the beloved story had all the fun, sexiness, and adventure you'll find yourself longing for.

Ariel Waters became my favorite from the very beginning of the series. She was sassy, feisty, charming, funny, and crazy lol. Though she is crazy in this book, I felt like she lost a bit of her fire and of herself and that's what I originally loved about her from the other books. When we learn her story, her insecurities come into the picture and she becomes meek when confronting her ex... But then Eric Sailor comes in, bulldozing down her walls and helps build her confidence back up 😍. Now, don't get me wrong, I absolutely adored watching Ariel fall in love like her other gals, but what I did not like seeing was her be depressed and down. Her spark ultimately went out when it was her time to shine.

Those things aside, I loved this story. Add in new characters and the squad and you get an epic romcom! This may not have been a favorite, but it still had me rolling with laughter and ended with a sweet epilogue. I definitely recommend this book to everyone who loves a good laugh, angst, and sexy moments 💚 Ugh, I'm going to miss these beloved characters.

Recommended Read

Tara Sivec is the QUEEN of snarky heroines, stunning hero's that make you swoon HARD, and laugh out loud comedies. It's no surprise that this is another 5 star hit for me- I love her books, I love the way she brings her characters to life and makes me want to befriend them all, and I love how her books, no matter how hilarious, have a really sweet love story.

Kiss the Girl is the third book in the Naughty Princess club. Technically, this book can stand alone, although I would personally recommend reading them in order because you'll get a good idea of the characters if you do so. This series follows three women (Cindy, Belle, and Ariel) as they open their own business of naughty princesses. These princesses do private "showings" for mostly male clientele. Okay fine, they strip! I was trying to make it seem classy because calling them strippers doesn't make it seem that way. But they totally are, I swear! Anyway, each book follows one of these best friends as they navigate the new business and fall in love. In this one, Ariel and Eric come together, although it it isn't easy. Ariel HATES men. Her ex put her through the ringer and she has no attention of settling down with any guy. But Eric seems to get her... In a way that no other man has...

Readers are going to LOVE Ariel's story. She has always been one of my favorite characters from the series because her mouth is PRICELESS. She says the funniest stuff and I was literally rolling around laughing. It's just such fun humor and I totally get her as a character. If you haven't had the chance to read the series yet I highly recommend grabbing a copy! It's such a fun series with fantastic characters and swoon worthy love. I love it to pieces!

4 1/2 "Girl Power" Stars!

This whole series was such a pleasure. Very over the top, but I still loved them all. In this edition of the Naughty Princess Club, Eric Sailor was the sweetest sweetheart. I fell hard for him. Ariel was a sassy spitfire that I'm happy to say got her groove back!

This was a perfect wrap up to the series. Again, this was a pleasure. Happy reading!

Tara Sivec has taken the Naughty Princess Club to a whole new level and it was absolutely entertaining! Kiss the Girl is book #3 in the Naughty Princess series and is fantastic! I’ve been waiting for Ariel’s book since she opened her mouth in At the Stroke of Midnight and it was well worth the wait!

Ariel is the sassy, strong, confident, independent woman of the group...or so we thought. We find out very quickly that Ariel isn’t exactly who she portrays herself to be, she’s actually very unsure of herself.

Eric has been smitten with Ariel since she ever so nicely told him to F*&% off. Eric sees right thru her facade and is determined to make Ariel see her own self worth and build her back up to the strong woman she once was.

But with Ariel losing everything, a lying ex-husband and Eric’s evil mother, Eric will have a fight on his hands to help Ariel find her voice once again.

I honestly cannot say enough about this book! The banter between Ariel and Eric is priceless and their sexual chemistry?? My god...melt your panties right off your body hot. I don’t think I’ll ever forget that lap dance! The relationship between Ariel, Cindy and Belle was just as humorous and show what true friendship is all about!

Everything about this series is hilarious! I loved every single book and have to say that Ariel and Eric were the best, by far!! I highly suggest reading the first two books in the series before Kiss the Girl just because of the pure awesomeness that is Tara Sivec!

3.5 Look at this stuff, isn’t it neat Stars

Out of the three books in the series, this one was my least favorite. I will say this, it’s a personal opinion because I don’t like the Heroine’s personality at all.

I did the audio version of this book and I REALLY liked the narrator. I thought her voice was bubbly, she did great acting and voice transitions. She really did make my listening experience 100% times better and I would stalk her audio page.

Ariel is the last girl in the group to get coupled. Each book focuses on a different couple, but you will have to read the books in order to get the full feels. Ariel’s friends and boyfriends play huge supporting roles in the book.

I don’t like Ariel. She’s so out spoken and has his “hear me woman” vibe, but she is so self conscience and has no self esteem? I didn’t believe it. She can stand up to Eric, tell him off, but she thinks she is too fat and ugly? It just doesn’t go.

I also didn’t like the angst in the book. I felt like a lot of Ariel’s problems could have been solved had she acted her age. How hard is it to read notices and realize you will be kicked out of your house? How hard is it to turn in paperwork on time? If your ex contacts you several times with something important, shouldn’t you take five minutes to talk to him? Yeah I don’t get it. I found her personality really hard to like and I wouldn’t trust her to run a business with me.

I did like the quirky and humorous writing. As much Ariel annoyed me, I like Eric and I liked the little Mermaid references. Eric is super sweet, understanding and just has his shit together. I honestly don’t know what he sees in Ariel.

Anyhow, I’m happy I read the series.

The final book in The Naughty Princess Club gives us Ariel and Eric's story. The little glimpses we got of Eric in the previous books made him out to seem like kind of a sleazy playboy. I really didn't think I was going to like his character but I ended up liking him the most out of all three heroes. He was so NOT sleazy. The way he knew how to handle the prickly Ariel was not only entertaining but also very sweet and caring. He is the character that surprised me the most and in a majorly good way.

Ariel has been a ball buster from the beginning but when we finally got her story, it was actually pretty sad and explains why she was so much bluster. She came off very angry in this book and she has good reason. It was a bit much at times, but there was also some really funny moments when she went into her tirades.

I really got a kick out of Belle in this book. Now that she is with Vincent, her shy, nerdy persona had a bit of a temptress to it. That combination was pretty funny. Cindy, Belle and Ariel have the kind of friendship I loved to read in books. They have solidarity, are completely crazy most of the time and entertaining to read about.

All three books in this series have been very loosely based off Disney fairytales. You can pretty much guess which one's with these character names but make no mistake, these are not Disney stories. All three books have been so much fun to read and I highly recommend them! ARC provided by NetGalley.

While I enjoyed Ariel in the previous books of this series, I wasn’t sure that I could love her. She is brash and outspoken, extremely prickly and not your average girl next door. Amazingly enough, I not only liked her, I loved her and this quickly became my favorite book of the three.

When Ariel’s circumstances take a dramatic turn she is left with nothing. Her ex-husband not only destroyed her self-esteem but also left her in financial despair. However, the very annoying Eric Sailor quickly steps in to assist, despite her protestations, and before she knows it she’s finding her true self.

Eric was the perfect mate for Ariel. He knew exactly what to say, when to say it and how to say it to push Ariel into the place she needed to be. And surprisingly, that place was where she could figure out who she was and what she wanted. A place where she could find her voice and speak up for herself as well as her friends. That, in my opinion, is the true definition of a hero.

Along the way there was so much humor, one liners and repeated jokes that built upon themselves, all the while creating a bond between these characters in a fun and charming style. With never a dull moment this story moved at lightning speed. I never knew what to expect from this couple or their friends. When the big conflict arrived I didn’t see it coming and would definitely consider it a twist. And while the resolution felt a bit cheesy, I was grinning and cheering right along with Ariel and her friends.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed each of the books in this series and was reminded again of why when we are given a glimpse into the future with a sweet epilogue that highlighted each of the princesses and their princes. Definitely worth reading if you like your romance laced with plenty of humor, friendship and naughtiness.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book provided by NetGalley and St. Martin's Press. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

"5 - Dreams do come true Stars!"

This was one of the funniest, well-written, over the top, enemy-to-lover, contemporary-romance "fairy tale" stories I've read in a while.

This book was funny, sexy, and had a powerful message for women.
I really enjoyed the writing, characters, and story-line.
