➳A story filled with insta-love, possessive alpha-male... That's nothing new coming from Alexa Riley. But... this book did feel different in a way that makes you want to continue it's filthy, hardcore romance that attracts you to the writing of AR. Gaining control is something that Kingsley is good at, but his adored wife Mina, wants the opposite. She wants Kingsley to stop pushing himself back from loosing himself in her, and start taking hardcore actions that makes Mina crave it.
➳Getting his hands dirty is not something new for Kingsley, aka King. And his Queen, Mina wants everything that is him. Restraining himself is something that he has had to to do, but now he unleashes the power of being down-right filthy with her and expressing his inner, honest thoughts of her. Their love for each other is not one that is a surprise, but it brings a combination of tenderness and curiosity since the innocence of Mina, is one that vanishes the moment she finally has the true King comes out to play in a seductive way.
➳If you are not looking for anything insta-love then this is not the book for you. But if you have a filthy mind like mine, then you need to read this beauty. Well let me tell you, Alexa Riley hit that request out of the park with the story. This was yet another classic Alexa Riley story and I adored it.

meh, i wanted more. this felt very dramatic, which shouldn't be a surprise, but i just wanted some like freaky rough shit and all we got was doggy style and throat fuck idk.
and then the guy's obsession with the girl popping babies dried me up sorry.
there was also way too much internal monologue, i just wanted them to fuck. i don't mean this in a mean way but you can definitely tell that this was written by soccer moms 😔

as always, alexa riley never fails to disappoint. Taking Her Turn was a brief yet sweet romance story that took my breath away and had just the right amount of cheese in it coupled with alexa riley's signature feel-good smut.
i really loved seeing how mina came into herself in the book and how she shed her shyness and inhibitions to become a bold, daring lover. furthermore, alexa riley definitely knows how to write drool-worthy alpha male characters that you can't help but adore. this was just what i needed tonight and i really want to start a full-length novel by this author soon!

"Taking her Turn" is the story of Kingsley and Mina, and MEOW.
A married couple discovering their dirty side, this was kinky and sweet at the same time. I LOVE when couples do it right, and this cum filled ride was the nicest form of commitment porn. Adored it!
Loved the name Kingsley, and the OTT epilogues are always so good.

I am sad to say that my love affair with Alexa Riley is OVER.
I was in a mood for a short smutty read and AR is my go to author but this was B O R I N G. I found nothing hot or sexy about it.
And this is stupid Chapter One "his beard is long and rough" - Chapter Six "his five o'clock shadow is already showing". Check editing SOMEONE.

3.5 'Uncontrollable King' Stars!
Always a good time for a quick smutty story! It's been a while since my last read by Alexa Riley and today I decided to check another one out. I do have to say I enjoyed these books more in the past than nowadays but still, it was a quick sexy fix between reads. I love stories with married couples and these duo of authors surely know how to write that smut!

I loved this one! So sweet and fun to read. AR surely know how to write OTT alpha males and sweet, hot stories. I can read their books everyday and I'll be so happy!

Esta novela pese a no ser diferente a las otras que he leido de Alexa Riley, tiene un toque distinto por el hecho de que la historia comience despues de que la pareja protagonista este casada.
Honestamente, no es de las mejores de las autoras, pero se lee muy rapido ( en menos de 30 minutos ) y cumple su funcion, distraerte entre lecturas mas complejas o cuando no tienes demasiado tiempo para relajarte con un libro.

Mini Review: Finally a decent story! Also gorgeous cover as always. The story is quite rare because they're a married couple. Mina felt something missing with their sex life. She wants his dirty and raw sex but her husband is afraid to lose control. Kingsley just love his wife too much and settle for slow and 'vanilla' love making. After Mina finally let out the beast, Kingsley is totally OTT alpha male in every sense. Possessive af.
I loved how they have back story (before marriage) even it was an insta-love, but still appreciate it. Sometimes Kingsley could be hyperbole with how much he wants to Mina. Sadly, it ended up with they're having kids and not enough dirty sex! GAHHH. I'm so frustrated. But surprisingly, there's no baby/cum talk. Whew.
