From the time I was a little girl, I knew I was going to follow in my father’s footsteps. The art form of tattooing always intrigued me, and it became my life’s goal to put my work on other people’s bodies. My blank slates as I called them, ready and waiting for me to help the individuals express themselves. I’m fully tatted and pierced and I love myself the way I am and will not change that for anyone. I had tried my hand at love once before, but it didn’t turn out very well, so I gave up and concentrated on making my shop successful. Then one night I came in contact with my high school crush, Dillon Connelly. And he changed everything.Growing up, I knew I needed to escape my parents’ house and make something of myself. My sixth-grade science teacher, Mrs. Masters, changed the course of my life and encouraged me to reach for something better. I worked hard and became a doctor, graduating at the top of my class. No one was holding me back from my goals in life. I’ve always been searching for something, never quite figuring out what that was until a familiar patient’s daughter became my sole purpose for living. Could she be the one?Ariel and Dillon cross paths after a devastating event involving Ariel’s mother. This chance encounter changes the path of their lives. But something is lurking in the background that could test their newfound love. Can they put an end to this new threat before it separates them from each other for good? Or will this threat ruin their one chance at happiness together?

I have been an avid reader for most of my life. When I was younger I used to sit and fill spiral notebooks full of stories. As I got older, I took the jobs needed for raising my boys as a single mom, until I met my now amazing husband. I have stopped working in the last three years and started promoting authors, then I blogged and reviewed for authors, which lead me down the path to writing and creating characters and stories. I love creating behind the scenes with my writing getting to use my imagination and write the story as it comes to me. My youngest is now a senior in High School leaving me with some spare time on my hands to be filled. I am loving the people I am meeting and the support system I have found. Ariel knew when she was young she wanted to be a tattooist, her father was her inspiration and when he passed she took over the shop with her sisters. When her mother has an accident she finds herself seeing Dillon again, the boy she crushed hard on when she was in high school.

Dillon had a crush on Ariel in school, but his life was derailing and once he found focus he set goals he needed to achieve before he would even go there. Years later though he is not going to miss his chance and lets Ariel know he is wanting to explore what is between them. Everything is going perfectly until Ariel finds herself being stalked by someone. Can they figure out who it is before it is too late?

What a way to kick off a new series. Dillon is pure alpha male and Ariel is quirky, they make an exceptional couple. I liked the family dynamic of this one and cant wait until the next book.

It is rarely a good sign when the first real thought you have during a book is "do seven year olds really talk like golem talking to his precious?" Unfortunately my impressions didn't get any more positive as I continued. Something about the writing just irked me and though I am myself a bitch the heroine immediately came off as too bitchy for me to enjoy. Your sisters joke about a moron wanting a penis tattoo and your first thought is "guess that will fall to me" even though it's pretty clear the guy wasn't actually going to get the gap. You're pissed that they both appeared at your door immediately after a fire at your mother's house that resulted in a "total loss" (as a side note who the hell talks like that), and your reactions are not "is she ok" or"what happened" but "why are you both here instead of one at the hospital" and "guess I need to teach you manners because you tried to get me to hurry up so we could get to the hospital." I had wondered why this book was so long for a romance...probably because each step of her day is described in excruciating detail. I didn't have it in me to read 400 more pages of this and my ku membership is nearing its end so I decided to go to the next one on my list

Seven year old Ariel watched on as her daddy tattooed people. She knew right then what she wanted to do with her life. She did everything she could to learn how to be a tattoo artist. Now she runs a tattoo shop with her younger sisters Rainey and Emery. She’s with her sisters waiting for the doctor to tell them what’s going on with her mother who is fighting for her life. When the doctor walks in she recognises Dillon immediately. He was a few years older than her at school and was always getting into trouble, she had always crushed on him. Dillon recognised her too and is still very attracted to her but had thought she was way out of his league. Her mother had a soft spot for him when he was growing up, as he had for her. Maybe now that he was a doctor he was good enough for Avery. While at the hospital Avery starts getting weird texts from an unknown number. Then things become a little to real and it’s obvious she has a stalker. She turns to a friend of her fathers who happens to be the president of an MC. Dillon dons his alpha male hat and won’t leave her side. While the MC and Dillon protected her and her sisters they’d hoped to flush the stalker out.

I have to say the cover drew me to this read...it's kind of refreshing not to see abs!

This story held my attention and being the first in a series I look forward to reading the other sister's stories too.

Ariel is the oldest sister and works/owns a tattoo parlor started by their father with her two older sisters. The banter between the three was believable, especially since they all had their mother's stubbornness. Dillon is a doctor and one night in the ER a familiar face from his past catches his attention and this folks, is where the story begins.

There is budding relationships, old connections and drama in this story (not OM/OW!) I really enjoyed it and think I need to read the MC series mentioned in this story (although you don't need to in order to enjoy this one)

Blank Canvas by Liberty Parker is a romantic suspense that I listened to on audio narrated by Sarah Puckett and Connor Brown.

This is the first book of Liberty’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. I absolutely loved Ariel and Dillon! I cannot wait for the second book in the series Clean Slate to be released on audio.

Sarah and Connor did an amazing job on the narration! I absolutely love Sarah’s work. This is the first time I have heard Connor narrate and I look forward to listening to more of his work in the future.

I would highly recommend this series if you love romantic suspense.

Ariel💘Dillon! Great Story & Audible Listen🎧 Diva~licous!

Blank Canvas
Diva's Ink, Book 1
By: Liberty Parker
Narrated by: Sarah Puckett, Connor Brown

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, Liberty Parker is a “new to me author” and I will definitely be checking out more of her work. I like her writing style and the story and characters she created. They are interesting and had me captivated from start to end. The characters are realistic and well developed. I liked the two leads, Ariel, had an inner strength that seeped out of her, loved how she cared and looked out for her family members. Dillon too, had a strength about him, loved his take charge attitude and how he treated Ariel’s Mom. Tragedy may have brought them together but they were definitely meant to be, the chemistry between them was smoking hot. I loved how everything played out, in addition to a great romance, there is plenty of drama, angst, twists, as well as suspense, the author keeps you wondering who is behind everything and has you moving to the edge of your seat when the action hits. Secondary characters are awesome too, I am looking forward to next story in “Diva’s Ink” Emory’s story. I hope it comes out on Audible soon. Liberty Parker, thank you for this great story!

I listened to the Audible edition, Sarah Puckett and Connor Brown are wonderful narrators and voice performers. They bring these characters to life, give each their own voice and personality, as well as heart and attitude. I loved Sarah’s take on Ariel, she allowed her badassery to shine thru, as well as her caring heart. Connor’s Dillion was great too, alpha perfect! Great job by bother on all the secondary characters too. Each is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this great listen🎧

Clean slate by @libertyauthor
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
.

Ariel, a tattoo artist, ends up in the hospital after an emergency. Meeting Dylan, the hot doctor, has her world turned up side down. With all the good come the weird texts. The happier she gets the worse the text and invasions into her life become. This is a great who done it, stalker mystery. In addition to a shocking revolution that unfolds with the stalker, the love story is adorable. It’s not an overly dark read but a good beach type read with just enough to keep you going with the storylines with out causing book hang overs and emotional devastation. I love it because sometimes you just need a bad ass woman getting the her@love story with out killing you a little inside. I love those reads too but this was a wonderful light read! It’s also a great read to hit multiple boxes and witty enough to make me want to pick up the next boom in the series. The narrators were great! I’m not sure I have ever heard them before but they both do a wonderful job in being true to the characters and emotions! This book has you’re second chance love story, mc crew, stalker intrigue and hot girls who own a tattoo shop. So pretty much a win Win!

The story line was predictable, but the characters were unique. I like the tattoo aspect of it and "the club" added some old School drama. The flow of the story gets a little awkward at times, but I grew to like the switching of the perspectives.

I, however, did not enjoy the narrators. They were really far off from what I heard in my head for these characters. I could tell when they recorded things at different times, causing awkward lags. The reading wasn't smooth, as if rehearsed, but rather stumbled through like a middle school English class read aloud. Inflections were put in weird places and the female's attempt to sound like a child, at the beginning, almost made me not want to read the book. I do think the narrators got better going towards the end, though the sex scenes were weird. Real weird.

Overall, I give it 3 stars! I read it in roughly a day and I enjoyed the story. I believe I would have enjoyed it more if I had read the book myself, because I didn't find the narrators to be believable as their characters. I would read another story from both the author and narrators.

"Loved the Author, Loved the Narrators"

Who is Liberty Parker? "Blank Canvas" is my 1st book written by Ms. Parker and I'm so impressed with her style of writing, I'm sure I'll look for others written by her. She's very DESCRIPTIVE, very DETAILED, made me feel like I was right there in that tattoo parlour. I marveled in the MYSTERY and SUSPENSE that Ms. Parker added in the storyline, leaving you guessing throughout the book.

Ms Parker didn't skimp on the ROMANCE when it came to writing this book either. I would have to say the Sex Scenes registered on the RICHTER SCALE off the charts. There were quite a few 🔥 🔥 🔥 moments.

Let's talk about our narrator's Sarah Puckett; one of my Top Favorite Female Narrators, and a new one for me Connor Brown. I'm always excited when I see that Ms. Puckett is narrating a book that I'm listening to because I know she'll never disappoint me. She always RISE TO THE OCCASION.

Connor Brown was no disappoint either. I loved his voice perfect for the part. He partnered very well with Ms. Puckett and look forward to listening to his voice narrate other books.

Let me start by saying this is the first book by Liberty Parker and I will absolutely reading her books again. I thoroughly enjoyed her writing style and the detail given.
Now for the book Blank Canvas I loved the story line. The two main characters Ariel and Dillon had crushes on each other back in high school, neither knowing the other felt this way; only to find each other so may years later. It really is a sweet love story with a twist. I loved the interaction of the other characters in the book. One thing I found unique with Blank Canvas was that you received the perspective of other characters in the book besides the main two. So many times the chapters flip between the two main characters, but in this book others like Dillon's mom and Ariel's sister were given a voice. I really enjoyed that aspect. It wasn't too much to make it confusing, but enough to keep it interesting. This book did not disappoint.
Liberty really keeps you on your toes, with surprises around every corner. She definitely gained a reader in me. I look forward to the rest of the books in the trilogy.

This is an exciting beginning to a new series by Liberty Parker!

Ariel is a confident woman that knows who she is and makes no excuses for it. She has always known what she wants out of her life, and did what she had to do to get it. She comes from a loving supportive family, and knows that they will always be there for her.

Dillon comes from an abusive family, but with a little help, has worked hard to become who he knew he could be. He is a strong, confident man. They grew up in the same area, and knew each other in passing. There was a hint of attraction then, but when Dillon sees Ariel again, WOW! This book is smokin' hot!

This book has everything I love! A second chance romance, that is full of action, love, family, and it even has a bad guy thrown in there! Stalkers, and crazy family, and visits from hot MC guys, oh my! I loved this book, and I'm definitely looking forward to Ariel's sisters books! (I Hope!)

I liked this book a lot. I'm totally in love with Dr. Dillon Connelly. He protects whats his, family, and friends. He definitely is someone you want in your life. Okay, so back to this book. Ariel and her sisters own and run their tattoo shop. They're all tattoo artists. Their mother ends up in the hospital, which puts Ariel and Dr. Dillon in the same room together. They both had crushes on each other without each others knowledge back in high school. Neither did anything about it at the time. But now, there is a pull and they fall madly in love.

Craziness happens. Dillon does everything in his power to protect the important people in his life. This was a fast paced book. I couldn't put it down. Ariel is a strong character. Her sisters are great in here. I'm looking forward to their books. Looking forward to reading other Liberty Parker books.

Not your simple romance novel

Ariel is the oldest of three sisters, daughter to a science teacher and a tattoo artist. Her lifelong dream is to create art just like her dad. After their father's passing the three girls work together and open Diva's Ink.
Dillon is the son of the police chief with a mother who is cowed from years of his father's abuse. He was headed down a bad road until a high school science teacher stepped in and showed him that he did indeed have something in himself that was worth while. Ariel's parents endow Dillon with the funding needed for him to go to college and go all the way through medical school.
These two, who had crushes on one another in high school come together when Ariel's mom, who also happens to be Dillon's life changing teacher, is caught in a house fire. Sounds like a simple love story, right? Well throw in a pissed off ex and a stalker and you have this story. Pick this book up to see how it all plays out!

I don't think I've read Liberty Parker before and after reading and devouring Blank Canvas I need to remedy this situation ASAP. Blank Canvas was fun romantic suspense with a reformed bad boy doctor and the female tattoo artist, her stalker and the local MC who protects them. Blank Canvas is an excellent first book in the series with a glimpse of what's to come. If you're looking for a wild ride and all sorts of expectations flipped on their head then pick up Blank Canvas by Liberty Parker. I think I found myself another author to follow.

I received this audiobook for free from Audiobook Obsession. This is my honest and voluntary review.

I've had a hard time with this review and rating. There's parts I really really liked but there's parts that irritated me to the point that I considered not finishing it. Honestly, if I were reading rather than listening, I probably would not have read past the prologue.

In the prologue, Ariel is 7 and talking to her father. It should have been a sweet scene showing where her love for tattooing comes from. I have a 7 year old, this was written like she was maybe 3. That's not a good first impression and put a sour taste in my mouth for continuing.

The overall storyline was really good. It was intriguing and a little suspenseful. The details are lacking however. A lot seems glossed over or brushed aside. Some of Ariel and Dillon's actions and reactions rubbed me the wrong way or irritated me.

The narration by Sarah Puckett and Connor Brown was my favourite part. They both gave great performances and complimented each other well.

Great story line. An interesting, gripping story that left me turning the pages, engrossed in every word.

Ariel and her sisters are very charismatic, and I hope to read more about them in this series. I love the world Liberty Parker has created here and the potential for so many great stories.

Dillon is totally swoonworthy and total book boyfriend material. He's not what you expected him to be, and the love story is a true testament to not judging a book by its cover.

The author has done a fantastic job at creating an amazing piece of work and drawing the reading in and not letting them go until long after they are finished reading the book. This is one series, and author, that will stick with you.

This was a really good story. Ariel is one tough cookie, I like her and her attitude. The fact that her and her sisters own an all girl tattoo parlor(Diva's Ink)is pretty damn awesome. Dillon is a sweet guy with a great personality a guy who goes out of his way for others. When something happens to Ariel's mom, she and Dillon come together almost if by fate. They are HOT! I mean WOWZA! Of course it's not all sunshine and rambows(who wants to read boring crap like that lol) but they make it through. I also like that the Rage Ryder's MC are in it too, so cool! Overall I think it's a great beginning to a series and I can't wait to hopefully learn more about Ariel's sisters Rainy and Emory.

I loved this story!!❤️. This is the story of Dillon and Ariel. It is a second chance story of love, hope and resilience. Ariel and her sisters were daddy’s girls and wanted to follow in his footsteps - so they opened a tattoo shop. Dillon’s family seemed perfect to others around him but his life was a living hell. They both had one thing in common - Glory Masters. Dillon and Ariel find that the one thing they have in common also threads their lives together. But someone doesn’t like their new relationship and has decided it should end. Can Dillon and the Rage Ryders MC protect Ariel’s family long enough to figure out who wants Ariel out of the picture? This is a great read!!

What an amazing start to an amazing series. Blank Canvas is Book one in the Diva's Ink series. This books main characters are Ariel, a Tattoo Artist and Dillon, a Doctor. Ariel runs Diva's Ink along with her two sisters Emory and Rainey. When a family emergency had them rushing to the hospital, Ariel see's the one person she has always loved from a far. Dillon never expected to run into Ariel after high school but when a family member lands in the hospital he see's his chance for love. But someone lurking in the shadows threatens Ariel's life, Dillon will stop at nothing to keep her safe. I loved reading this book and hope that her sister's stories are told.

Ever since Ariel was a little girl, all she wanted to do was paint pictures on people, just like her father did. After her father passed away, Ariel and her sisters took over the tattoo shop . Ariel is very independent, tattooed, and pierced gal.
Dillon Connelly now a doctor, was her high school crush. Their lives crossed when her mother was admitted to the hospital! How things changed for them! The connection was real. Second chance romance with danger, angst, drama oh yes, hot sex.
Sarah Puckett shines by giving Ariel the sassiness and independence in this story.
Connor Brown's sexy deep voice is swoon worthy, perfect for Dillon.

I absolutely loved this read / listen. Incredible dual narration that brought these characters to life. I also loved the multi point of view shared throughout. This is the first in Parker's Diva's Ink and I hope the others in this series will be audiobooks too. Ariel is a strong woman who's comfortable in her own tatted up and pierced skin. Dillion was a bad boy who made good and the two come together with amazing and instant chemistry. Danger surrounds this new budding relationship which makes this read / listen addictive.

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Dillon left his home to prove he was better then everyone thinks. He works as a doctor in his home town little does he know he will face his high school crush.

Ariel and her sisters run the local tattoo shop. When she and her sisters rush to their motherd side the last person she expects to see is the guy she crushed on throughout high school.

When a stalker messes with Ariel she turns to not just Dillon but the Rage Ryders. Twist and turns along with appearances of some familiar characters bring this story to where once you start reading you will find it hard to put down.

The synopsis of this book sounded so good but once I started reading it the story was lacking. I liked Ariel in the first chapter she was tough badass and independent. She speaks her mind and puts people in their place. Then as soon as her and Dillon start talking Boom she is turned into a whiny girl. There is no real progression in their relationship they talk at the hospital, she is threatened and then they are basically living together. I kept hoping it for better but it didn’t the story didn’t flow and it was jumbled.

A fast paced, sexy, and suspenseful read. Hot, bad boy doctor Dillon and tattoo artist Ariel are fire together. Both hid their attraction for each other when they went to school together. Now years later they meet again and sparks fly. A mystery stalker threatens what they've been building towards together. Luckily Ariel has the help and support of her family and friends. I was on the edge of my seat wanting to know what would happen next. I really enjoyed this story and the narrators did an amazing job.
