I enjoyed the book, my first by this author. Brione is a smart woman who has made some mistakes in life. She trusted the wrong man; now she must be strong and get out of his control.
Andrew/Marques is a musician who has been hurt in the past. A chance meeting at a coffee shop begins their love story. Little do they know at that time how much they would need each other to grow and heal. Can she trust Andrew? Can He reinvent himself to return to what he loves?
I recommend this well written story with secrets, drama, healing, steam, and second chances.

A story of love and secrets
Rockstar Secrets was my first book by Ja'Nese Dixon, but it won't be my last. I really enjoyed this story of secrets, pain, blackmail, healing, strength and love. Seeing Brionne finally stand up for herself and take back her life while becoming her own woman was awesome. And reading how Marques' unconditional love was her cushion was inspiring and so heart-warming. The secondary characters were wonderful, and I just really liked this book. Read it straight through in hours.

Rockstar Secrets was a story that I seriously loved as it was an original rockstar romance in my eyes. Andrew/Marques wants a second chance in his music career and was painfully betrayed by someone he loved. Brione is a strong woman who fell in with the wrong man which has turned her life upside down giving her few options as the last man she took a chance on is now blackmailing her family, which left her with few options. Despite each of their pasts with pain, when these two meet, it's instantly apparent that they truly belong together. Rockstar Secrets is full of betrayal, secrets that don't make friends, a ton of angst, heat, and eventually taking control of one's life. It was a story that was super easy to do nothing else but devour it, but there's a reason that I didn't give it that last star (only because I went through something similar when I was younger) and it wasn't really like what was portrayed in the book. Anyway, I seriously suggest everyone hit those one click buttons especially since it's on sale! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

ROCKSTAR SECRETS... AMAZING 🤩 STORY
This is the story of R&B Prince of Pop, at least in this story and it is truly a good 👍🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 well written 📚 book. I loved that the author Ja'Nese Dixon had them meeting without, Brione Allen knowing that Andrew Carter was Marques. I loved the idea that even though Marques was from a famous R&B family, father a famous singer, they still had a good sense of family. This story was so good. Brione Allen came from a political family and arrangements were made between families. I am trying to give you some of the reasons I loved this story without giving away the drama of it all in this story called "Rockstar Secrets". I loved that Bruce and Damian and Cameron were all in this story. I would highly recommend this book 📚, I haven't read All the books 📚📖 in this series but I am sure they will be good 👍🏾🙌🏾😊.

Perfect
I absolutely loved this book...
I specifically loved how the author did not get in the same cliche of drugs, gangs, and alcohol because it was music, more specifically R&B, which tends to involve all that...
I was very apprehensive when I purchased this book thinking that this was what I was going to get but it was not. I was a little bit disappointed that MS.Dixon did not dwell on the family law issue since this is a huge opportunity to teach and helped all of these mothers who are in this same situation and are reading this book where they could have picked on something that they did not know, but still overall it was sooo GOOD... Marques/Andrew was the real deal... So protective and so sweet... He was made for Brione...grab a copy and enjoy!

Unremarkable?
The story was decent, just a little inconsistent in details. I just know tomorrow I will have forgotten all about Brione and Marques - ok, maybe not Marques. What I didn't like - Some aspects of the story was told in detail while others waste simply mentioned in passing, bit very relevant to the story.
I didn't get Brione's reasoning for living without what to most would be a huge part of their lives. There is nothing or no one who would be able to keep me away from mine. What kind of law student falls into the blackmail trap?! That whole situation I found unrealistic.
Loved the male hero Marques, he made the book for me. Wish the author would have been more descriptive in describing what the characters looked like.

This is the 1st in a new series about Rockstar’s, and this is Marques / Andrew and Brione’s story. Marques is sweet, protective, and a Rockstar who was betrayed in the past by a loved one, and he is looking for his 2nd chance in the music business. Brione is a law student who made a series of bad decisions and trusting the wrong man, who is now blackmailing her family. When fate brings Marques and Brione together it is great to read about her getting back the control of her life and being loved unconditional by him. This is a well written story which is heartwarming, and with secrets, drama, blackmail, emotions, healing, moving, 2nd chances, and is an endearing and steamy all-consuming read. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Despite the 3.5 I really enjoyed this book!It was very cute to me from beginning to end. It’s missing a little bit of excitement for me, some angst, not necessarily drama but a little more pow I guess.
There was so much build up in Brione’s fear of Stewart it was disappointing we didn’t get to see the showdown. Same goes for the discovery that Sam was involved with the leak. Having the culmination of those storylines actually play out in detail instead of told in hindsight, would have added the extra punch the story seemed to be missing.
This is my first book by this author and my first rockstar romance. It was missing a little bit for me but still good enough that I’d give another book by this author a chance!

Amazing!!
It’s been a long time since I’ve read a book I did not want to end.....wow! Rockstar Secrets is worth every single penny if you are like me and serious about your coins. Ms. B almost had me wanting to strangle her but not as bad as Sam; but trust there’s a disgruntled beast in all of our lives. So here’s my recommendation:
This would be a great book for a romance reading book club to explore as well as a girls group who really love good books. Single ladies read with caution ( cause the scenes are so well written until you will need restraints)!🤨Anyhoo, Ja’Nese Dixon this book goes in my to be read again and in my list of favs! Can’t wait until book two....

This was not the story I thought it would be but that's not bad either. It's a well written story with great main and secondary characters. It's somewhat heartwarming and sweet with some steam, drama and angst. This is Brione and Andrew's story! Brione is a law student with some secrets and a past. Andrew, also know as Marques, is an R&B star with a past and a famous father. When the first meet she does not know who he is but there is instant chemistry and attraction. Overall, this is a very good story that slow builds to a wonderful ending. I could not believe her family and the Bradleys or Sam.

A beautiful love affair
I really enjoyed this book! Andrew came along when Brione really needed someone! It was love at first sight. They were great for one another! Stewart and his family along with hers were so wrong for keeping Kayla away from her but in the end it was all made right! I loved the entire book seeing and feeling how Marque reinvented himself on the road coming harder and stronger and re- establishing his rightful place in the family! I look forward to seeing what happens with Cameron, Damian and the rest of the family and friends. A great start to this series!

Unfortunately I couldn’t complete this read. Rockstar Secrets had so much promising but wasn’t quite there for me. I read more than half the book yet it lost lustre for me.
As per usual, there is no spoiling and I will not defame author or contents due to my not completing. It just took too long for me to read the secret and wishful expectations. This read may/may not suit some readers. Sexually, there was a touch of innocence and sweetness. The first book in the series, may lead to a new tempting series for some. Unfortunately, the foundations weren’t set for me.
An added note, may re-read later and have a different review. To date, this it.

I could not put Rockstar Secrets Down . Ups and Downs , Highs and Lows . Ja’Nese Dixon does such a fantastic job delivering a story that will have you on the edge of your seat through the entire book .Marques and Brione’s story is anything but an easy journey . There will not only be many trials and tribulations along the way . But their love and trust for one another will also be trusted . Do they have enough faith in what they share to get them though all the difficult times ? Will they find happiness together? I adored every minute of this story.

My first book by Ja'Nese Dixon and it definitely won't be my last. I loved getting to know Marques and Brione, their story was full of heartbreak, secrets and lots of love. Marques and Brione had a fantastic chemistry from the start but Brione come with lots of baggage and she's always relied on herself to get through.
Will Marques finally break down her walls and will Brione open up about what's really going on in her life and allow Marques to help her get back the most important person in her life, her daughter.
A great story and I look forward to reading more in the future.

Family over Fame
I really enjoyed this book. I loved the relationship the Carters had with each other and their extended family. I loved the way the concert scenes were written. I could feel the music. Marques was devoted and protective... just the way I like my book baes. Brione was smart and determined...the perfect book sis. Their chemistry was five flame emojis *fans self. * I'll be reading the rest of the author's backlist and I can't wait to read the next book

I was hooked from the beginning.
I enjoyed how the relationship between Marques and Brione unfolded. It was very romantic and sweet. I really loved the relationship between the guys. What I didn’t love was the situation with Brionne and her daughter. It appears that she sacrificed a relationship with her daughter for her parents then played the victim role. It was hard for me to relate to that but all in all I enjoyed the book and I will begin to follow the author

Simply Great!
The book is very entertaining and captivating.
Real strong and beautiful characters that will keep you at the edge of your seat. Andrew aka Marques and Brione's chemistry is above the chart but they are both not too keen to be committed to a relationship ... They have secrets, baggage that they afraid to share, but the heart wants what the heart wants, and life has a way of taking its course, secrets cannot be hidden forever.

This is the 1st book I've read written Ja’Nese Dixon; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I will definitely be reading more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the chemistry between the characters.

She is trying to get her daughter back but she has a few things in her way she goes and helps her friend out with her job she is hired temporarily until her internship starts. She has secrets that she didn't disclose but when it gets told it's is unreal his thoughts but something in her makes her turn around will she get her daughter back or will there be more turmoil in her future.

Wow!
This is my first time reading this author and it won’t be the last. The story had me on the edge of my seat from page one. The inner workings of politics was a parallel for the inner workings of the music industry. Money, sex, drugs and more were commonplace for both Brione and Marques. But like it was said in the book, love is worth the risk. I’m glad Brione found her courage while freefalliing and walked away with more than she could have ever imagined.

Brione was in a battle for the love of her life. The secret she held was tearing her apart until she met Andrew. He gave her the first glimpse into what life could be. Andrew had met love once and he knew it was not kind, but instead opportunistic. However, Brione gave him hope when he should have been focusing soley on his career. As they both slowly let their guard down, real life hits. This book is definitely worth reading to find out if love prevails.

ANOTHER GET READ FROM JA'NESE!!!
Wonderfully written, easy to follow with twists and turns that keep you captivated from the first chapter to the very last word. With your attention focused on the surprises that keep coming and frozen to your seat. The characters and their personalities were a well developed. Ja'Nese did a remarkable job making this read so realistic that you felt you were there.

Secrets?
You know that saying "Write what you know about"? The author knows nothing about child custody laws. I forced myself to read/ listen to the drivel coming off of the page.
The author's style of writing, grammar and spelling is great. It was the content I had a problem with.

Okay so I'm hooked.
This is my first time reading this author and I like how she flows. I like a little drama with a little intensity. Some authors have you climb the mountain and PUSH you off the edge. I appreciate a book more about the love and romance than the underlying conflict. I have already downloaded book 2 in this series.

I’m unsure how to review this one! There were moments that I loved and others where my attention was lost. I really like the connection between the characters and I loved learning about her past with every passing chapter, but in the end, I was feeling a little deflated. I’m on the fence on whether or not I’ll be continuing this series.
