Siya in Exile is inspired by real-life incidents weaved into fiction. The book sensitively dives into the lives of working women and their place in the family and society. Women who support their families financially are often blamed and degraded by their loved ones. Siya in Exile questions the double standards of the society on terms like whore, slut, adultery, infidelity and continuous scanning of working women by colleagues and society. Women, who have the ability to change the lives of other people, at times fail to work on their own relationships due to different pressures, mostly psychological.
In a society where the ideal pair is Ram and Seeta, husbands are projected as Ram and wives are expected to be as sacrificing and compromising as Devi Seeta. What if the husband turns out to be a Raavan instead of Ram and tortures Seeta? Why is it so acceptable for people including that woman? Why is she expected to keep quiet and act happy in front of the society? Why should she be blamed to voice her unhappiness? Why shouldn’t a Seeta break free from this imposed exile full of compromises and live her life with dignity?
The protagonist, Siya is an inspiration in every manner for people around her. She is a saviour of the needy and weak, the irony is that Siya herself is a victim of domestic violence and marital rape. Her values, at times, pull her back while her progressive approach inspires her to fight back.
Seeta in Satyuga suffered when a man pointed a finger on her character and Lord Ram, the Maryada Purushottam left her to suffer again in an extended exile when she was pregnant and needed him the most. In Kalyuga, Siya has someone by her side to help her choose and change the fate. Will the exile of this Siya get over?

I just got my hands over a siya in exile... No...No... I'm not talking about any particular person... It's a title of a book written by @vineetaasthana . And @hind.yugm is already known for publishing books which are written by rising talented writers ..
So , siya in exile is story of love, betrayal, suspicion, care and many more.... Story starts with a girl who just had sex with her boyfriend and we're thinking that is it all about sex..?? If it's not then why we can't just go to the park with gripping hands tightly. It's also love....
Then story begins... Main characters of the entire books are Abhigyan, Siya.. there are many more...But mostly this story revolves around them... Abhigyan is a foreigner working in company on his moods. He is talkative and handsome.. he's crush if many girls in office...
Siya is a married woman with two children and a businessman husband.. who has not plenty of money but still she is working to keep her values... She is the boss of whole office.. she was so beautiful that she didn't looked like a mother of 2 children..
Siya has a bad image because people thinks that if a woman is successful in any business or work .. she must have chosen a shortcut ( here shortcut means that she must have compromised)..
So now.. whole book is based on these two guys... As I told book starts with a girl with a thought ...
It's enough for introduction. And for the rest of it... You MUST READ whole book..
Thing I like in this book is the description of the situation of siya... I mean how philosophical things are written in a great way... A great applause for that one.. I also read one book based on this concept but with different story... And only woman can write books on a topic like this...
Go to amazon and grab your copy today... All ladies will like this book.. (and many male too... ) Ending of the book is good one..
📙 Book: Behaya । बेहया | Siya in Exile Author: Vineeta Asthana (@vineetaasthana)
Siya is an India woman who basically has a great head on hers shoulders, but her decisions in life is based solely on her husband choices. Many India women have to obey or agree on the clothes her husband wants her to wear, places they go or who she should hang around. The book also talks about how some men and women differ on the terms of love. Women say the words I love you through actions and most men say them through sex. Overall, It's a beautiful and knowledgeable book that covers a lot of good points.
The book is based on contemporary issues faced by working women across the world. Working women face many challenges, especially in their married life. Once you read this book then I am sure you will feel it is your story. A must-read for everyone.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It presents an ideal picture of how it should be without any stereotyping. All characters seem realistic with real struggles which they finally figure out.
Real life stories very well portrayed and a very powerful character 'Siya', and thanks for that new word 'platonic'.🐒 Looking forward for more writings. Thanqsu
