According to the afterword of the last book this book was supposed to be about city building, but it was just more of the same last three books, battle win/lose, battle again repeat thirty or forty times. I’m done with this series unless someone tells me that the later books break this pattern. I’m just getting bored, don’t much care for any of the characters.

Great read love the sarcasm

A Great read Moving on to the next in series
Could do with a bit more character development with the established leads as they seemed to fade into the background a bit

Great work!

This was an entertaining read, very satisfying! I enjoyed the new information on existing characters and how some of them begin to have a different outlook on how they live. Learning more about Emma, her allies, and enemies is great! If you've read the previous books then you will enjoy reading this one. Read this!

Book 4

This series is what I call a bathroom book. Meaning it's short enough to read in just a few hours, perfect for reading during bathroom breaks.
My only complaint with this book was a lack of testing and results from all the different enemies that invaded the city.
I recommend this series.

Great books!

I really love this series. I purposefully waited until a few more were out before starting up again, and got 4 and 5 together, because the endings always leave you in that weird space where you aren't ready to stop experiencing the world you have been immersed in for the last several hours. Do yourself a favor and start reading!

Fun

If you’ve read the first three, this is more of the same: snarky comments, fights, and a fast paced story. The author is holding true to the exponential growth of the “dungeon “ (more a civilization now) at the cost of character growth. Still good and enjoyable. A quick, captivating read. I wasn’t disappointed.

I liked this one
A little less with the insults, a lot less with the torture.
The main character is a lot less murderous and everything is still just as fun.
