Stay Close: Eeeeeeeeeeesh. I hate that I pre-ordered this. I hate that I paid more than $.99 for it. This had none of those ooey gooey feelings that AR is known for. It had instalove, sure. Possesiveness? Told us about it, but we didn't see it. I didn't connect to anyone here. Super disappointed. I want Miles back.

Hold Tight: Pandora's story was definitely better than Penelope's story. And Royce (horrid name) was more interesting than Ivan (and I generally love Russian heroes). But this series has fallen flat to me. The For Her series was much, much better.

This felt rushed. I found lots of errors, and a few places where the sentences were awkward as hell, and definitely could've been reworked. One whole page was a disaster as if they missed proofing that page.

Don’t Go: Incredibly one-dimensional. We've known Henry for so long because of this series and it's origin series, so why did he seem like a stranger? I guess I expected more of his dad in him than the wishy-washy fella we got.

First novella starts out with a grown man and what sounds to be a high schooler. No thank you. Sounds creepy.

The Russian was terrible.
Here is some dictionary for you:
Красота́ — эстетическая (неутилитарная, непрактическая) категория, обозначающая совершенство, гармоничное сочетание аспектов объекта, при котором последний вызывает у наблюдателя эстетическое наслаждение.

And an english translation:
Красота́ is an aesthetic (non-utilitarian, impractical) category denoting perfection, a harmonious combination of aspects of an object, in which the latter causes the aesthetic pleasure of an observer.

"Krasota" does mean "beauty", but more like "the beauty of " - it can be used to describe things, as well as general estetic qualities, like beauty of soul, beauty of nature, etc. It is not an endearment. It cannot be applied to a human being (well except to describe the beauty of someone "your beauty is..." or "struck by your beauty", etc. in which case it is still not an endearment). Equivalent endearment to American "beauty" [that I hope was meant in this case instead of referring to the heroine as a lifeless object] is "krasotKa" (my beloved/ pretty girl) for a girl and "krasavchic" for male. Calling someone "krasota" is basically calling them a lifeless thing and that was a no no.

If you do insist of making the hero purely out of prejudice, preconceived notions of how a "Russian" looks and acts, as well as old, redundant cliche, then at least do the research and get the language right. Google is open 24/7.

Hold tight

I had the best hopes for this one from reading the blurb. I won't even get started on the absurd dialogues, weird characters and overall development that was lacking..everything. I loved Pandora in book 1. But this one? Her story? It did not do her justice at all.

Also, the details didn't even add up. Wow. Such loooong books (each about 80 pages) with so many details to keep in mind.. It really must be a struggle to follow the appearances and storylines and get it right...

Don't go

Yeah.... By the time I got to this one... Let's just say I was done with this bundle - the absurd characters, struggling, empty plotlines, inconsistent details, shallow, annoying personalities and all the other stuff that just ruined this for me. And this last one? With that "misunderstanding" that cost them 10 years? What the...

All three stories are so wonderful and so good. Loved reading each one.
Book #1 Stay Close
Penelope has always been sweetness and caring of others. She is the feminine one and by that I mean she wears dresses, makeup and cooks for the family, which she loves doing, it's her way of taking care of the family.

Book #2 Hold Tight
Pandora is now the head of security at Osbourne Corporation since her father retired and Henry has now taken over the company from his father.

Book #3 Don't Go
I really love this series and this is Henry's story. I devoured it, even with 2 epilogues, in just a few hours.
This is a second chance for Henry and Kody. Henry fell in love with Kody, 10 years ago and then she disappeared. Henry first saw her during their senior year of high school.

Three separate stories but they’re all connected. Penelope and Pandora are sisters and Henry is their cousin. It’s all about how these three meet their life partners. As usual the men are OTT alphas and the women are feisty, the sex scenes are hot. Love stories from these authors.

They were all basically 2.5. Rounding up because the narrators weren't the best and I think that affected my experience.

Fraternal twin Penelope falls into insta-love with her bodyguard. She’s a virgin and he wants to knock her up right away. She is 18. In other words, classic Alexa Riley. The family background is laid in a bit thick, but it is good setup for Hold Tight.

Hold Tight
I enjoyed Pan’s story a lot more than Pen’s. I guess it’s because I can relate more to her - she is late 20s when she meets Royce, and though there is insta-lust and insta-love, she fights it for a while.

Don’t Go
Harry’s story (Pen & Pan’s cousin), who inherited Osborne Corp from his father. Good, didn’t like as much as Hold Tight. Her rape-tastic boss was too much, as was the misunderstanding that kept them apart for 10 years.

A Fighting Chance - Shannon Stacey
Sweet second chance romance. I remember not liking this one as much the first time I read it. I enjoyed it more this time. If I recall correctly, I didn’t feel like the major conflict had a satisfying resolution.

very good book. Its the continued story of Miles and Mallory's son Henry, and Ryan and Paige's twin daughters Penelope and Pandora. The kids are grown now and have taken over their dad's job after they retire. Henry finally gets his love back after 10 years apart from Kory. Penelope falls for her new bodyguard the her parents have just hired. And Pandora find love when she thinks she'll never love someone.

You know, I don’t know. I didn’t know what to expect from this book, but soon I found out that this book wasn't my cup of tea. The Russian in the first novella was terrible, and the narrator clearly didn't know how to pronounce a Russian name Ivan or a Russian word красота. Moreover, the Russian ’accent’ sounded unrealistic. All in all, I didn't like empty plotlines and the absurd characters.

Alexa Riley’s writing is definitely not for everyone, and I liked these short stories less than the full novels by her that I’ve read. The first story was definitely the worst for me, I liked the characters, but the timeline was not great. The second was middling. I don’t remember much about it now, a week later, and the final story was actually pretty good, but again, the timeline was just so short.

For those who like short, intense romances - this book is definitely for you! While I don't believe that these three relationships were very realistic, I enjoyed them nonetheless. Three intense men who love their women with everything they have. These stories are the very definition of love at first sight.

Great follow-up series with the next Osbourne/Justice generation. Although the series feels incomplete since Jay & Jordan's daughter Echo only had a small mention in this series. I would have loved for her to get her own book too. Instead, at 64% there's a bonus book: A Fighting Chance by Shannon Stacey. That was very disappointing to me.

I liked how Paige and Captain were there, but not really there.
The instant love from Ivan and Penelope was sweet.
Can't wait until Pandora and Henry get their turn.

It was alright, not as good as the original book. Sometimes felt a little forced and clunky. I liked the last one up until everything just fell into place. Would have liked to see a bit more conflict or something. Either way an entertaining read.

I enjoyed the twins' romances the most. Henry's story let me down coz of the way it resolved a silly misunderstanding after ten years. Smut is eleven out of ten. Alpha Males? A billion over ten. Love their gigantic dicks lol.

I enjoyed this series. I cheated a little by listening to this collection of books on audiobook. The narrators were good. Each story was fast paced, steamy and highly addictive. Great series!

I loved reading this series. To get the most from this series, read the ‘For Her’ series. It’s about their parents love story. Their love stories were similar, because their parents love stories set the bar so high for them, that they refused to settle for anything less. Wow! What a fantastic standard to unexpectedly set for their kids, that not only did each of them meet, but far exceeded!

I wish these stories had been novel length instead of novellas because I liked the characters and their stories and would love to have had more storyline to sink my teeth into. Sexy, family oriented stories and intense Alpha male characters are very appealing. I listened to the audiobook version and enjoyed the narration performances of all six narrators.
