The book started off ok but it took wayyyyy too long to get to the point of the book. towards the middle I felt myself reading just to get through it, not because I was interested. It was ok but I definitely think it could have had more of a climax after reading 300 pages. I also think the in-depth details and content about the friends was a bit too much. Started to get confusing.

This was hard for me. I think I would of enjoyed it more I had I read a physical book. The audio book is terrible (the reader). I may give the author another chance though. I would like to read a few of the other characters stories that were referenced in this. Overall the story dragged on and was predictable for me. It was also anticlimactic compared to the synopsis.

Book five of five in the "All That" Series (A lot of people don't know that this is a part of the book compilation). "Double Crossed" is the most suspenseful, action-packed in the series that follows Meridan's best friend Nichole, who is dating Deacon, a cop who seems to be on the up and up. However, when Eagle coach Damon takes an interest in Nichole, Deacon promises the retribution of prison time if he doesn't leave Nichole alone. Backing off, Damon decides to stay away until Nichole until she breaks off her relationship with Deacon because of his jealousy and insecurity. Will Damon and Nichole be able to fight for what thet trul y want? Which is each other, or will Deacon get his way? Thoroughly entertaining, this book will take you on a crazy ride.

This was a great read. I enjoyed it from the beginning to the end. Find out if the man she thought she was going build a life with and who is truly obsessed with her, spend the rest of her life alone or find a new love? Find out when you read double crossed by Darrien Lee

This was a really good read, it kept me wondering what would happen next. Although I enjoyed the storyline, I wish it would have been narrated by both a male and female, to make it more realistic. I would recommend this book to others, and I am now wondering if there will be or is a sequel.

This was a decent read. I felt like Nicole could have avoided a lot of the drama she had if she would have just used her words and told people what was going on rather than just ignoring them and letting their psychosis play out.

First let me say that I have been A huge Darrien Lee fan since her book 'All That and a Bag of Chips'. She has written 4 other books about these friends and now she has penned 'Double Crossed' which is the 5th and I hope not final book involving these group of friends and family. Nichole Adams is a friend of Meridan and has been involved with police officer Deacon Miles for 2 years. Damon Kilpatrick is a friend of her friends and flies home with her for support because Deacon has been shot in the line of duty. She arrives at the hospital and finds out that the man she loved and had planned to marry already has a wife that he didn't tell her about. She is devastated and Damon remains with her for support. Deacon is obsessed with her even though he plans to divorce his wife and decides if he can't have her then no one will. Lala who is Deacon's wife threatens Nichole but Nichole tells her that she didn't know he was married and is through with him. Deacon follows Nichole, calls her, puts a GPS tracker in her vehicle and breaks in her home trying to get her back. He also sets up Damon and tells he her he will only make it go away if she breaks it off with him. As the drama unfolds, Deacon didn't count on his soon to be ex-wife and Nichole and Damon's friends to turn the tables on him for all the damage he has done to the couple. I could not put this book down until I finished it and it was worth it to find out how all this drama ends. Darrien has done it again another great novel and I plan to reread all the other books that lead up to this fantastic story.
