OUR MISSION: Creating a wonderful world of books that inspire a child’s imagination through learning and play!
Subjects covered: city transportation, service vehicles, construction vehicles, rescue vehicles, farm vehicles, water and air vehicles, now and then (taxicab vs rickshaw, differences in trains).
Each two-page spread covers a subject, what that subject is and does, the different types of it, and extra details under flaps.
Example: rescue vehicles - a short blurb about how they work, fire engine - short blurb, flap - what is inside the fire engine. Different parts are also pointed out, such as a cabin and ladder.
This book is a daytime read with children because it is exploratory and expects adults present who can answer questions since this book introduces but does not expand on details. Example: points to a furrow on the farm vehicle page, and I have to look that up since I am not from a farming community. A furrow is a trench that a plow makes, for irrigation or planting seeds.
