Gross
I stopped after Chapter 1 when Zach and Caden were talking about sleeping around. That is gross, not sexy. The main characters don't have to be saints, but that needs to be in the past and they need to be not gross manwhores or to have ever been. Reformed billionaire manwhore is way overdone. Write something original or don't bother.

Disheartening
When I decided to get this book, or any book, I look at the amount of pages as well as the summary. Well, this one is misleading. Shows a ton of pages, and a great summary, but I have finished 2 books @ 27%. Apparently, there's a novella in between the two, but when you go to download that, you get another book entirely, that has nothing to do with what your reading.
Now, the plus side is that I enjoyed what storyline I got, but I would have much rather known I was getting short stories.
I stopped @ 27%, and can't go back in. Sorry.

Zach was a sexy, brooding, tattooed motor cycle riding specimen who worked in a lumber yard. With a body that proved it. He was emotionally closed and because of his bad boy appearance, got plenty of women to use at his disposal.
Now that trait seems to turn some readers off, but what they neglect to realize it that he could not use these women if they were not throwing themselves at him. An unattached, uncaring man will take easy sex if for nothing else than a release. As Zach says, those women pretend they want a one night stand, but in morning's light they can't face the truth. What they really want is to change the bad boy into the man of their dreams. Not going to happen.
That's why he was so intrigued with Paige. Yes, it was evident that she was attracted to him. However, she made him work to get the panties. He had to take her out a few times before she gave in to her desires. Not just that, he wanted to know more about her than just how she acted in bed.
Zach and Paige were made for each other. I hated that she had to deceive him, but at least she was looking for the truth. I figured out about Blythe and her mother early on so that part wasn't a surprise. I was happy with the ending of this story and look forward to reading the next installment, which was free at the end of this book! Woo hoo!

Love Makes The World A better Place
Paige is a feisty young woman who is a private investigator with a degree that she does not use in her line of work. She is given a job by multi billionaire, Mr Kent, who says there is a thief stealing money form his business and he wants her to find out who it is. The trail, is easy to follow and she is surprised and confused by this job as most of the work has already been done for her. She is wary and discovers that the 'thief' is Zach. Now Zach and his mum escaped form his father's clutches when he was a teenager as he was an abusive man. Unfortunately, the impact of the abuse lead to his mum committing suicide when he was 14 years old. He now lives in a cabin in the mountains with only one window and he keeps to himself - he goes to work as a lumberjack and occasionally has a one night stand but has never had a relationship until he meets Paige. She is feisty, curvy and intelligent and stunning and they are instantly mutually attracted to each other. he asks her out and, for once, he begins a relationship with her. More surprises occur and Paige is more and more concerned as to why Mr Kent employed her to find out the thief as she trusts Zach. This is one terrific story and yes, with instant attraction you may think that is all it's going to be about with lots of hot, sexy scenes and a HEA. But you'd be wrong! Don't get me wrong as there are lots of red, hot sexy scenes with plenty of passion but there is a very real underlining plot that is weaving it's way through the book too and is well worth the read. The included extra stories are amazing too so please read those too when you get your copy. I hope you enjoy this story and all the others as much as I did. I do like Eva Luxe's writing style and the genre that she writes for. her attention to details all helps to bring the story to 'life' with believable characters and interesting twists and turns and, of course, a wonderful HEA! Even though I had an arc, I bought it as well. So glad I did for extras.
Not sure why some readers complained (well you can’t please everybody) but I thought it was brilliant.
Zach likes a quiet life, well quiet in the sense of doing his job in a sawmill, having a beer with his friend Caden , meeting the odd woman and going home.
His choice after his earlier years. When he meets the most sexiest woman he has ever seen in the grocery store, Paige, he has to meet her. Now the fun begins.
Wasn’t sure what to expect with this story but it went beyond my expectations.
It was interesting, dramatic, full of secrets, emotional and yes it made me cry in a good/sad way. Paige was doing a P.I. Job on Zach but nothing seemed to fit right. Meeting Zach will change her life forever, plus their chemistry is off the charts. I absolutely love theirs friends. Kami and Caden, they are so funny and most of all ...sweet Blythe.
A brilliant story, you just have to read. Worth more than 5 stars.

Wow, I don't even know where to begin with this story. So well written with complex, likeable characters and a story with more twists than a roller coaster. Very emotional, heart warming and heart breaking. Zach and his mother left his abusive father when he was young and she later committed suicide. He was left alone and lived in a secluded cabin in the mountains. He gave up a billion dollar trust run in order to get way from his father. Paige is a private detective hired to find a thief. The trail is too easy and things don't add up when she locates Zach. Their attraction is explosive and things heat up quickly. Lots of lies, secrets and surprises. A beautiful story that will remain in your mind for a long time. No spoiler here but you will enjoy this book. I read a reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.

Holy cow!! Eva Luxe brought out the big emotional guns with this book. I very much enjoyed reading this full length book. I was sucked in right from the start and really couldn't put it down. There is intrigue, lies, secrets and major passion with big reveals. This book keeps you in the edge of your seat wondering what is going to happen next. Phenomenal read! Bonus novella about Paige and Zach included seeing them a couple years down the line. Loved it! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

This book by Eva Luxe was definitely an enjoyable and fun read for me. I liked how her characters grew in the book as well as growing on each other. At first it seemed like two different stories within one, but of course, she neatly connected the dots between the two and let the reader follow the plot easily. This was a romantic/love novel of a different kind, for which I give her kudos for changing things up. Of course it still involves a gruff "mountain man" alpha, but the female partner is this story is not your average "fair maiden" needing to be rescued. And, I must say I enjoyed the next book in the series as well, which I will of course review separately. This a voluntary review of an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Paige was hired to track down a thief but when she meets Zach she believes that he is being set up. Estranged from his father, Zach is just trying to make ends meet and live a solitary life without using his trust fund. The more time the two spend together the closer they become and the chemistry between the two ignites passion. But will Paige be able to complete her job knowing that Zach has done nothing wrong? Or will the baggage from Zach's past come back to the forefront of his life and put his future on hold? With a beautifully written storyline and characters that the reader cannot help but fall in love with this book should not be missed.

This book had me laughing and crying. It's one of those books that just keep giving and giving and I couldn't get enough.

I loved this story by Eve because it takes you on a journey of discovery, openness, letting go, and believing in yourself enough to move forward. Just when you think all is well, she shows us that life will throw you a curve ball and it's what you do with it that will determine who you become and what is most important. Paige and Zach are awesome and the supporting characters help move the story along. This is at times funny, endearing, hot, sexy, and full of life with all it's ups and downs. I highly recommend this book. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book.

Zach & Paige are the epitome of 2 people being thrown together by fate. Head sense has no chance against heart & gut reactions! This is the 1st book from Eva Luxe I've read, but definitely won't be the last. While reading, I was literally transported into the small town and could picture it with all the side characters & the parts they played. The story flowed with suspense, lies, drama, friendship, laughter & tears, and a HEA ending. Well worth the read and continue following for further successes.

Zach and Paige were amazing characters who pulled me in and kept me entertained, I loved that i got to see parts of Zach before he met Paige and how his being around her changed him! The plot of this story was amazing with tons of twists and turns that will keep you on your toes with plenty of suspense and action as well as sweet times and steam!

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. Wow! Absolutely loved this latest book from Eva Luxe. This one is another wonderful read. Paige and Zack were an amazing couple who seem to come from different backgrounds and the chemistry can not be denied. This is such a well written book that captured my attention from beginning to end. A definite must read for fans of Ms Luxe. The HEA was worth all that it took to get there.

Captivating and interesting plot. Keeps you caught from first to last chapter. Lot of chemistry. Characters that have a lot to fight with from the past. Emotional ups and downs. A different plot and twists that makes this a great story.

I enjoyed reading this book about Zach and Paige. Paige is hired to find Zach by Mr Kent, little does she know but he is Zach's father. Zach is living a quiet live in Brookings until he meets Paige. This book is an emotional rollercoaster especially with the appearance of Marlie & Blithe. Zach's world is turned upside down by them.
I laughed and cried whilst reading it.

I loved this book so freaking much!

I was smiling the entire time, except when i was crying. Happy tears, most of the time.
The characters were written perfectly. Their story was one that i will certainly remember.
I would most certainly recommend this book.

To start with this is not a normal billionaire read, Zach is a hard working, hard playing working man who has a few issues that are explained as the story unfolds. Paige is a PI but it's not her passion, art is. On her new case all is not what it seems. This touching story is one that will pull on your heart strings so keep a tissue handy. If you love a book that can pull you in and keep you reading this is it.

The plot of this book was interesting and intriguing. The story-line flowed smoothly throughout. What makes a man want to hide out in the mountains? I loved the characters. They were well-developed and easily relatable. Paige and Zach made a great couple despite the issues that tried to separate them. I loved the interaction with Zach's daughter and how his father came around for a second chance. Over all a great read...

Surprised
I was actually surprised at how good this book was, there were some misspelled words however the book was good. Paige is a P. I who actually wanted to be a painter but needed to pay her bills. Zach is a billionaire but refuse to take the money from his father because he was abusive and drunk. Zach father hires Paige to check in on his son, by stating Zach is stealing from the company. This book was pretty interesting.

This is a very entertaining read. An interesting plot keeps you engaged in the story and the characters are likable. An enjoyable blend of romance, drama, secrets, twists and humor, this book reads easily. I loved the chemistry between Zach and Paige and the hot, steamy scenes between them. I'm posting an honest review after reading an advance copy of this book.

I’ll admit I wasn’t sure I would like this book but I’m glad I was wrong. Mountain Billionaire ends with a HEA, it’s safe to assume this, but the plot twists and the main and supporting characters are what keeps you engrossed in the story. A good Valentine’s Day read. I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review.

What a great book by Eva. I didn't know what to expect with this one but it pulled me in from the very beginning. I loved it. It was well written and I absolutely fell in love with Zach and Paige. They are such a perfect couple. Great book.

This edge of your seat story is wonderfully written and will have you turning the pages to see how the story unfolds. This romance story has a great mix of drama, betrayal, unexpected plot twists, secrets, lies, intense chemistry, heart-wrenching moments, undeniable passion, humor, and an HEA that is well worth the wait.

I really enjoyed this story! There was drama, suspense, betrayal, secrets, as well as some steamy sexiness. Paige and Zach had great chemistry. I loved them together and was rooting for them to make it even after Zach found out what Paige was hiding. The story was well written and kept me engaged.

Definitely different. I have some serious mixed feelings on this one. I liked the main characters, I liked the side characters. Some of the twists were interesting. On the whole though the story just felt, ordinary? It didn't feel like a romance to me. It felt like a book club book. I would label this book as a family drama.

💎 I like a book with some secrets, but this one seemed to have too many. Paige had one, Zach had one, his father had one, on top of that you had a big surprise. It just seemed like there was a little too much. The story was not hard to follow though. It was an easy read were all secrets are revealed, conflicts are solved and we get our HEA.
