I have been a writer from the time I was old enough to recognise that reading was a doorway into my imagination. Poetry was my first foray into the art of the written word. Books were my best friends, my escape, my haven. I am essentially a recluse but this part of my personality is impossible to practise given I have two teenage daughters, who are actually my friends, my tea-makers, my confidantes...
My heart is currently broken in two. One half resides in South Africa where my old roots still remain, and my heart still longs for the endless beaches and the smell of moist soil after a summer downpour. My love for Ma Afrika will never fade. The other half of me has been transplanted to the Land of the Long White Cloud. The land of the Taniwha, beautiful Maraes, and volcanoes. The land of green, pure beauty that truly inspires. And because I am so torn between these two lands - I shall forever remain crosseyed.
I love talking to my readers so email me if you have any questions or even if you just want to chat... Email: teeayerauthor@gmail.com

As part of the Aeon 14 universe the Hand has been subtly and in the shadows moving civilisations and systems to their own purpose. Being a familiar part of a lot of the stories its only right that we find out more. So it is that we meet Nerishka a cousin of another popular member of the hand. With a little sloe start to set the scene the interesting side stories about our assassin expert with many a toxin up her sleeve is on the hunt as she tries to explore a lead which could case a major upset to the transcends plans. As this is a seperate series thereis the famous bame drops a bit of backgrounf but works well for those as a first book to aeon 14 but also a side read for the die hard fan. Both authors work well and show their experience with a great blend of intrigue and action.
Wow, I'm not much of a Sci-Fi reader, but I really liked this book. I also think teens and young adults would love this book if they are in into Sci-Fi books. I never read the other books in this series, but with it referencing the past, helped understand everything. We have Nerishka with her AI (Lyra) which just makes you laugh at them talking to one another. Nerishka works for Hand as an assassin and loves it. She is on an assignment that that is going to cause her to get help and the closes person is Dresden and his team. Dresden use to work for Hand, but went out on his own after Nerishka left him. What will Nerishka and Dresden do when they meet up again? Can Dresden get past the hurt? Does he still love her? Does Nerishka still love him? Can they work together even with everything unsaid between them? I received and arc copy for my honest review.
M. D. Cooper and TG Ayer’s Death Dealer (Aeon 14: Hand's Assassin) really was a wildly fun ride. It is, quite simply, extremely imaginative and superbly written - and it provides just the kind of Sci-Fi action and adventure that “hits my sweet spot”. I frankly adore Nerishka and love watching her take on all comers. As the book blurb notes, after all, she “didn't earn the name Death Dealer by playing nice.” The rest of the cast of characters is pretty amazing as well. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises - the book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, it is easy to highly recommend.
I liked the world this story was set in, and find some of the assumptions in the world to be quite interesting. We've progressed to the point where nanotechnology is common, and sharing your brain with an AI happens often. Everyone is connected to the Link so have instant access to information that isn't blocked or secured in some way.
In this world, there are factions, and people trying to prevent mass events from happening. The main character works for an underground organization trying to prevent any developments of technology that can destabilize the area.
I don't want to go into more detail and spoil the story, but it was an interesting read.
Michael Cooper appears to be multi-talented. The two talents I am most in awe of are his ability to spin a yarn and selecting great talent to team up with as he develops the Aeon 14 Universe.
In Death Dealer we are given yet another strong set of characters worth reading. I sincerely hope that the authors continue to parter Nerishka and Desmond in more stories! They paired well together.
I have read one of the authors on this one but not the other so that is why I ventured in this one to try it. Not really into reading sci-fi any more but do watch on occasion this did keep me into it which surprised me. I know those that love sci-fi would enjoy this one alot. The intrigue and the suspense was a high caliber which would make it a fast paced one for those whose taste runs to these. I am glad I did try it thanks to the writing that helped me enjoy it.
Excellent wring. Powerful story. Nerishka and Lyra make a fantastic team. Dresdan's not bad either. Judith and Kelem round out the wonderful team of characters. Don't expect a happily ever after, but then again, this is part of a wonderful ongoing story.
I received a complimentary copy of this book and voluntarily posted an honest review.
A fairly fun scifi action tale! I have read Ayer before and liked her work. Cooper is new to me, but seems to be a great author as well. The world felt well balanced with good characters. There are a few things that could be tweaked, but overall it was an enjoyable read.
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily reviewing.
The life of an assassin is not an easy one, especially when someone is trying to assassinate them. Nerishka is a bit of a closed book and I was unsure whether I would enjoy reading her story but the more I read the more I began to like her, it helps that she seems to enjoy making things go kablooey!
I have enjoyed all of the books that I have read so far that have been set in this universe. This was no exception, the characters were detailed and fun to watch go through their day, there was a lot of action, and who doesn’t like a good space book. I recommend this book and series.
I am constantly amazed at the authors ability to write characters that you believe in and are invested in so quickly. I cannot wait to find out more about them!
a fun book to read. Well written, A few things going on that you don’t even see at first. And then they hit and your think “wow” I never saw that coming. All in all you’ll enjoy reading this book.
Great characters with realistic situations and lots of action and adventure. I enjoyed this start to this new series in the Aeon universe. I look forward to more from this series 😁
Another good storyline from the Aeon 14 "verse". So many off shoots from one universe and so many inter-twined characters and stories. What's next? I can't wait to read.
I enjoyed reading this book 📚, it has a great storyline. I can't wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
Not what I was expecting but a great story. If high tech high action sci-fi is your thing you definitely want to read this book. Can't wait to see what comes next.
WOW!! This is my first venture into the Aeon 14 world, and what an adventure it is! This book is filled with action, humour, snark, a plot that moves at a continuous pace, more action and fantastic characters navigating a wonderfully rich and compelling world. I am super excited to see what's in store for book 2!
