Nearly five and a half centuries have passed since Cabal swore vengeance on his father. The road hasn't been easy. His presence has come to the attention of Garrett Kelly, a Wanderer working for the supernatural hunting organization known as Victor Sierra. They would like nothing more than to see him dead. Despite the persecution, the dhampir is finally closing ground on Renate. As Cabal approaches endgame, he begins to wonder what purpose his life will have when it is all done. Is the quest really still about killing his father, or has his desire to track Renate down morphed into something else?

Hello readers! Denise Randall, author of five published novels

I was born in Jacksonville, Florida, and was raised (and currently reside) in California. Currently I live on a small ranch with my husband and daughter. A retired Navy member and a current school teacher, I've always found my true passion to be writing science fiction!

If you're here that means you've found one of my books appealing and want to know a little more about the lady behind the words!

I've always had a vivid imagination and have been writing creatively for a long time (my fifth grade report card reflects this). Before I really buckled down and started writing with the idea of garnering an audience, I would write creative little stories for classes, adventure notes to my friends to read (passed between classes of course), and just in general loved exploring what my brain would throw in my path.

At the age of nineteen, I got it in my head to write fan-fictions based on some of my favorite movies...stories to this day that gets notice and even praise.

I found that the practice really paid off when I started writing my first original work (much harder an endeavor let me tell you) "Forgotten Ties". It was all over after that...I was totally hooked on creating my own worlds and stories! I've not stopped, to this day I have at least 15 manuscripts in some stage of the creative process!
