MY CAPTIVE. MY MATE. MY PRIZE. I didn't order the capture of the beautiful American she-wolf. I didn't buy her from the traffickers. I didn't even plan to claim her. But no male shifter could have withstood the test of a full moon and a locked room with Sedona, naked and shackled to the bed. I lost control, not only claiming her, but also marking her, and leaving her pregnant with my wolfpup. I won't keep her prisoner, as much as I'd like to. I allow her to escape to the safety of her brother's pack. But once marked, no she-wolf is ever really free. I will follow her to the ends of the Earth, if I must. Sedona belongs to me.
Publisher's Note: Alpha's Prize is a stand-alone book in the Bad Boy Alphas series. HEA guaranteed, no cheating. This book contains a hot, demanding alpha wolf with a penchant for protecting and dominating his female. If such material offends you, do not buy this book.

I enjoyed listening to this one very much. The hero has an accent and this narrator projected it very nicely. There was a time or two that it wavered, but it was still very well done.
When the council members of Carlos’ pack kidnaps and locks Sedona, and then him, in a cell during her mating heat and a full moon, there can only be one outcome. Carlos is furious over the actions taken against her and fights the pull he feels toward Sedona. I liked that Carlos took control of his wolf and forced himself to calm and reassure her even as they became acquainted. From the beginning he tried to protect her. Nevertheless, their passions run high and the mating takes place.
Carlos refuses to keep Sedona when none of what transpired was at her free will. With plenty of machinations by the council they struggle to find a way to make what they have work. Carlos’ actions were not quite what I expected from an alpha wolf but I totally understood why he couldn’t force himself into Sedona’s life. He knew he had to fix his pack, an impossible job, before he could ever bring her into it.
This is a fast paced book, well written and full of plenty of wolf pack dynamics, albeit unnatural ones, and some spanking, steamy scenes. The ending is a happy ever after although there is one plot line that can be picked up in the next book and I must confess I’m extremely curious to see what happens.
I enjoyed this book immensely and will definitely be checking out further books in this series.
TSTL hero which is quite rare. He’s supposedly an alpha who is so TSTL that he didn’t know his dad was murdered by his clan council and he is next in the hit list. By the way, he was given so many hints by other people that the council is bad news.. wtf! I have no confidence that he can keep his mate and pack safe.. sheesh.. bad writing in this book too.
I have been a big fan of Renee Rose and Lee Savino's Alpha Shifter series and could not wait to get my hands on Sedona's story! Sedona and Carlos were hot and sexy and exactly what I loved in my books: a growly, possessive alpha male and the woman he claims as his mate. I could not get enough.
While this novel is the third book in the series, Alpha's Prize is a complete standalone. This book continues the storyline found in Alpha's danger where the Pack leader's sister Sedona is kidnapped by shifter traffickers. But when Carlos, alpha to his pack tries to come to her rescue, it is nothing but fireworks folks!! The result: they are both locked in together and when chemistry comes into play, there was no stopping their visceral connection to each other and their combustible chemistry. But what happens when Carlos and Sedona's captivity results in a baby and a forced mating? Can they make it work or will they become victims to a diabolical plan?
I really enjoyed this novel and I can't wait to read the next one Bravo! 4 stars! ~Ratula
New take on shifter mating...lock them together in a room during the full moon with one chained naked to the bed and see want happens. Well duh....hot sex and mating. She leaves, he follows, she leaves, she comes back...plus there's a nasty bad guy named the Harvester...ewh, who of course gets away.
Alpha's Prize by Renee Rose and Lee Savino is book Three in the "Bad Boy Alphas" series. This is the story of Sedona and Carlos. I haven't yet read the previous book so I thought this was easily a standalone book. Carlos is the head Alpha of his pack where there are few full female wolves. Most of the time with they mate with a human the children are unable to turn. So his pack has been after him to take a mate and to produce children. Which he has done yet and they have taken it upon themselves to find someone for him. Sedona is the daughter of Pack Alpha and went away with her human friends to vacations. There she is kidnapped and brought to Carol's pack. Carlo's doesn't know what his pack has done until they have him go down to the dungeon to see something and trick him into being locked up with her. Although Carlos tries to resist her wolf pull he finds it impossible and so does she. But that only starts their story.
A paranormal scorcher! Carlos is one sexy dominant wolf who commands the pages as well as his pack. He meets Sedona under the most dire of circumstances, as they are imprisoned together. This is highly erotic and perfectly fits this setting. Given everything that's going on, Carlos and Sedona remain strong. There is much at stake here. I loved every minute, and couldn't turn the pages fast enough. I've never had the privilege of reading these authors before, but I'm definitely going to read the others.
Remember Garrett and Ambers story, Alphas Danger? When Amber tried to help find Garretts little sister Sedona? Sedonas story begins right in that cage in that warehouse where she disappeared from. Kidnapped and drugged she is sold to a pack in Mexico to up their dwindling birthrate.Locked in together with the unsuspecting young Alpha of the pack they discover that the corrupt council members plan to force them to breed. They do bond. Boy, do they bond !! But Carlos the Alpha, not wanting to force his mate, lets Sedona go. That's when things begin to unravel. Garretts, and his fathers pack get involved, there's an uprising in the Monte Lobo pack, and sinister secrets are revealed. They do get their HEA in the end, but the worst of the bad guys is still at large!!! I volontarily reviewed a ARC of this book.
I'm going to round this one out to 3.5 Was bored in the beginning, but loved the second half
I love my Alpha male and it too Carlos just a little too long to come into his own. I loved visualizing the drawings that Sedona did.
These two meet when The Council for Carlos pack lock them together during her mating cycle. Although Carlos claims her, he lets her leave believing it is best for her until he gets things sorted in his pack. He has been away from the pack to further his education, and is not happy with what he finds upon his return. His work will certainly be cut out for him. Sedona has always been a pack princess, but doesn't feel that anyone actually sees her. . . except for Carlos. But she can't be certain if he would have chosen her if not locked together. Will these two work things out? Is there danger in Carlos own pack?
Growling sexy, emotionally gripping, action packed paranormal romantic journey filled with danger, mystery and betrayal. Highly entertaining shifter world, looking forward to more.
Carlos is a sexy, charming and honorable alpha male thrown into an impossible situation by his ruling council and doing all he can to resist what they want him to do. Sedona is a sassy, sexy and beautiful American she-wolf that was captured and sold to a shifter clan low on birth numbers. It is a interesting and entertaining dance to try and make things right between them after their free will was so brutishly taken from them.
The Bad Boy Alphas series can be read as a stand alone so don't let that stop you from picking it up if you have overlooked the prior two in this series. I am always confident with a Renee Rose novel that I will experience an erotic, paranormal, romantic and an amazing action packed novel. "A copy of this book was provided by Burning Desires via netgalley with no requirement for a review. Comments here are my honest opinion."
4.5 stars for me. This is book 3 in the series but can be read as standalone. It's probably my favourite in the series. Although you get the usual heat you get from a Renee Rose/Lee Savino book this one also has lots of backstory, plenty of emotions and the couple are tested beyond the usual limits of a PNR/Shifter story. I am really enjoying this author pairing and I hope they write lots more books together.
This was a good, enjoyable shifter themed romance. I didn't realise until after I had finished this book that it was the third book in a series. It can easily be read as a standalone. As I haven't read the previous two books, I would like to now read them plus future books from the series (I'd like to know what happens next).
But Carlos failing to see what his Council was really up to was infuriating to read. I mean... it was so obvious, and even if he didn't grasp it when he was young which is understandable after living through and witnessing their CURRENT actions A LOT of things should have been lining up. Especially because he was receiving vague warnings from people in his pack about them.
Loved the plot but this felt more like a novella to introduce a younger couple who make immature decisions. I struggled to like them, the H dismissed rumours about his mother being medicated, went sightseeing with the h instead. He's quite spoiled having been away from the pack at college for 7 years. Course the evil guy influenced him, and when he realises the evil guy was missing, it's the end of the book. Clearly there needs to be another book with these two, hopefully with them being more mature and acting like adults.
YOU ARE THE LIGHT TO MY DARKNESS. YOU BROUGHT ME TO LIFE.
While this is the third book in the Bad Boy Alpha series, it will read well as a stand-alone. It does have mention of a few characters that are in book two, Alpha’s Danger, but those characters are defined enough in this story not to be confusing. Two main characters from book two, Garrett and Amber will be key players in this story. You know you are in for an amazing story with two extremely talented authors collaborating to create this shifter series. The story has mystery, suspense, danger, kidnapping, a rescue operation, secrets, a psychic, and two strong wolf packs that are family and protective of their daughter/sister with plenty of action, angst, and adventure.
With the kidnapping of Sedona, while she was in Mexico on spring break, it will have Garrett and Amber searching for her. He will have to bring in his alpha father from another Pack to locate the kidnappers and Sedona. But will they get to her in time is the question of the hour?
Sedona was drugged and transported by plane, and now vehicle and will be locked and chained down in a dungeon. What do these wolves want with her? The Alpha of the Monte Lobe pack has returned to take his place, and the Elders decide it is their job to continue to control the pack and their Alpha. But to take it as far as to lock him in the dungeon with this beautiful she-wolf will test his limits. As an unmated Alpha, the full moon, and this little she-wolf is ovulating; he can only withstand so much torture. What can he do to protect her from himself? “Being locked in here with you is going to kill me.”
Carlos is a better Alpha that the Council Elders who used traffickers to kidnap Sedona. He refuses to make her be a captive just to appease his pack and will free her to her family and to prevent bloodshed. It will be hard to let her go, she is his mate, but the extenuating circumstances made it not by choice. “Alpha wolves are dominant wolves. Possessive. Controlling. Even domineering.” By letting her go, is she really free? She may have been his prize, and he has released her, but she is mated and marked. “I might not be locked in a cell anymore, but I’m still an overprotected pack princess. I’ll never be free.”
The plot will have Sedona trying to come to grips with how her life and control has been snatched away from her and now she is not only mated but marked by an Alpha. While what happens to her was out of her control, Carlos is a victim too. Neither one of them is safe, not as long as the Elder Council is still in control, holding the Monte Lobe pack prisoners to their demented schemes.
“Sneaky deaths, silent deaths—it keeps the pack afraid, and quiet. The council’s spies are everywhere. No one speaks up, for fear they might be next.”
Will Carlos and Sedona find the chance for their happily-ever-after future? She hasn’t told him about their pup, but now she fears Don Santiago knows, and that makes it a greater liability for Carlos. Is she the key to helping unlock the chains binding this pack and allow them to move into a future?
“I want it all ways—legal marriage, family ceremony, moon-marked.” The story has several scenes full of angst, sexual tension, spankings, and explicit sex scenes. I look forward to the next book in the series, Alpha’s Challenge, due out November 2017.
Holy Hot Tamale … Hotness! Renee Rose and Lee Savino have out done themselves (once again) with “Alpha’s Prize” the third standalone installment in the Bad Boy Alphas Series. This extremely fast-paced novel has enough blistering heat to leave the reader dripping… with perspiration and seeking relief… ahem, I mean… release… err um, I mean… a respite from the blazing sexual intensity (Ay, Dios mío!). The chemistry between the main characters is incendiary and if a hotter alpha male shifter exists, I have yet to find him!
The distinct writing style of each author coalesces flawlessly and I challenge anyone to find a better writing duo! Professionally written with intelligent characterizations, “Alpha’s Prize” offers plenty of anticipation (oh, yeah… that kind) abundant interaction (oh, yeah… that kind… again) all tied up… ahem, I mean… wrapped up in wolfpack intrigue.
So, if you’re into shifters or even if you’re not, I strongly recommend a mating… err um, I mean… reading frenzy beginning with any installment in the Bad Boy Alphas Series… trust me, you’ll be sooooo glad you did!

WOW!!! Let me just start with that. This book is HOT and DIRTY!! And I mean that in a really really good way. Let me say, the mango scene alone made me feel dirty. I amazing how fruit can be hot and sticky sweet. Can you tell that I really enjoyed this book. It was that good. This is the next in the “Bad Boy Alphas.” Sedona was just going to have some fun with her college friends. But things don’t turn out that way. She is kidnapped, stripped, and taken. She wakes up and see, “Him.” Carlos is the Alpha of his pack and young. He has taken over for his deceased father. He, too, was away at college and has returned home. But what he sees is not what he expected. These two try to fight their attraction and the full moon. But there is no way to fight the fever. But Sedona’s family is out to find her and bring her home. I love that we pick up pretty much where we left off in the last book, “Alpha’s Danger.” As I said before, this was really really good. I cant wait to read “Alpha’s Challenge.” I received this for an honest review and I highly recommend reading this series.
4.5 stars for me. This is book 3 in the series but can be read as standalone. It's probably my favourite in the series. I had to dnf at 34%. I find that a lot of these characters seemed similar especially in the "alpha males." Also a lot of the intimate scenes are similar with the other book that I've read in the series. I'm not against spanking, but theres just a lot of it in this series which became redundant. I just wasn't really feeling this story to continue. A lot of the plot line from what I read seems mediocre and also rushed.
This book is a sequel to Alpha's Danger and it tells the story of Sedona and Carlos. Sedona gets kidnapped and sold by traffickers and then ends up meeting Carlos. With whom she gets mated and pregnant by. This story has hot sex including some anal sex. The story has a nice HEA and I loved reading it, now I am looking forward to reading the next volume in this Bad Boy Alphas Series.
I guess I waited way more of this. H wasn't alpha at all. On one hand I understood and on the other hand you know, alpha. I wanted him to work this shit out immediately.
Spring break in Mexico. Beautiful, gorgeous, romantic, unbelievable! Walking alone on a beach should be safe enough, right?. Not so much! When Sedona, a female alpha wolf shifter, is attacked, kidnapped, and spirited away, she's bewildered and frightened. But, most of all, she's pissed! Her captors drug and move her to who knows where. She's stripped, shackled in a dungeon with no idea where she is, but she's mad as hell. When Carlos, alpha of his pack, enters her cell, he's just as bewildered. Where'd she come from? Why's she in his compound at all, much less handcuffed in the dungeon? As the door slams shut behind him, the situation becomes all too clear. Two alphas, locked in a dungeon at the full moon, imprisoned by forces unknown. This can't be good! As Sedona and Carlos battle their animal instincts and try to survive this insanity, fate intervenes. Sedona and Carlos' lives are changed forever. When both manage to escape, Carlos has to fight to keep his pack safe while Sedona escapes back to her family. But things soon go from bad to worse. In a bid to escape her family's overprotective coddling and distance herself from memories of Carlos, Sedona takes off. Carlos can't get Sedona off his mind. As he tracks her down, their reunion is far from blissful. There's anger, misunderstanding, and uncertainty. And trust? How about nonexistent! As Carlos and Sedona try to make sense of the chaos in their lives, come to terms with what's happened, there are forces at play of which neither is aware. The ultimate evil is right in front of them, and they've no idea just how much jeopardy they're in. Can Carlos and Sedona move past that first night? There's so much at stake. It's not just their lives in the balance. Who hates Carlos so much? Can he trust the members of his pack to have his back? What of Sedona? Can she ever trust any man, especially Carlos, ever again? As the action moves from Mexico to the U.S. and then across Europe, one thing is clear. These two will have to stop fighting each other, reach deep inside, find their inner alphas, and face the ultimate showdown against the most incredible evil they've ever known. Ultimately, the outcome rests in their hands. But can they do it? Or will evil win, pull them apart, and tear them, their families, and their packs to shreds?
Renee Rose and Lee Savino are both incredibly talented authors. I've read nearly every book each has written. Put them together, and you have a truly amazing powerhouse team. As has happened with each book in this series, once I started reading, I couldn't stop until I finished. The locations in this story, from the southwest U.S. to Mexico, France, Spain, and beyond, are filled with breathtaking beauty. I felt like I was actually there! The characters in this story are captivating. But it's the relationship between Sedona and Carlos that's the heart and soul of this story. The emotions run the gamut of utter terror, desolation, panic, pure joy, delight, astonishment, wonder, and, again, the redemptive and curative powers of the all-encompassing love of family, friends, and pack. Sedona's an alpha spitfire. Carlos is a typical dominant alpha male. Their relationship shouldn't work. But Ms. Rose and Ms. Savino have woven the threads of paranormal shapeshifter erotic fiction together with such care and precision that this story not only works but is enchanting and captivating in every way. I give Alpha's Prize 5 stars! In my opinion, it's the best book yet in this series! Congratulations, Renee Rose and Lee Savino, on another winner!
One final note. Please be an informed reader and consumer! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, think hard before buying any book you know you won't enjoy. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and all booksellers' websites. Use these resources. DON'T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON'T ENJOY THE BOOK. It's not fair to the authors. They work extremely hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you'll object to the book's subject matter before you buy it, you're doing yourself and the authors an extreme disservice.
For adults only (18+ years old) Contains subject matter that may be sensitive or offensive to some, including adult language, detailed intimate scenes (H/h scenes with spanking, light bondage, etc.) and violence (kidnapping, death / murder, etc.)
This is the third story in the Bad Boy Alphas series. I highly recommend that these be read in order for maximum reader enjoyment. While each story to date has been a standalone theme for the H/h involved, there are multiple overall series storylines that continue throughout.
Carlos is an alpha from an isolated pack in Mexico. He is introduced in book number two, as well as his fated mate, Amber. They have a rough introduction, as they meet when she has been kidnapped and sold to his pack. There are a few grammatical issues and timeline gaps in the storyline, but I had no trouble following the overall storyline as Carlos and Amber find their HEA.
When I read book 2 in the series I knew Sedona would get her own story and it would be amazing. An alpha she-wolf, an alpha male, and two packs hell bent on avenging their daughter/sister.
Sedona and Carlos' story started off so intense. Kidnapping, being locked up, being controlled completely. I liked that they were able to develop a relationship (of sorts) against all odds. I liked that Carlos went after her when it seemed impossible to have her. I liked that he tried to make her understand that she was so very important to him. I also liked that she wanted to make her own decisions (although she could've gone about it i na better way).
What bothered me was the fact that Sedona seemed so clueless. After a kidnapping and knowing foul play was involved, she decided to traipse off across the world without telling anyone and then decides to go into a shady situation to cause jealousy without thinking through the total ramifications. I expected her to be more cognizant when considering who her brother and father are. I also felt like Carlos dropped the ball as an alpha. He was commanding, stubborn, and had all the qualities of an alpha, but when it came down to it he let himself be overrun. I get it, the council ran the show and he was worried that his pack wouldn't support him if he attacked since he had been gone so long, but it seemed he just waited and waited and ultimately did nothing. He didn't trust the council, but when his mother's servant brought up a concern to him he suggested having the council member look into it...really??
Overall, the book was okay. It just fell short of what I thought it could have been. I'd still recommend it to others because, it was well written and I ultimately liked it. I am looking forward to Firefox's book. Hopefully, it gets back on parr with the first two books.
This is the third book in the Bad Boy Alphas series by Renee Rose and Lee Savino. I've been a fan of Renee Rose for a while and I've loved everything of hers that I've read. I've never read anything by Lee Savino solo and I'm not sure why but I definitely think they're both incredibly talented. If you read Alpha's Danger featuring Garrett and Amber then you're familiar with his little sister, Sedona who attends college in Tucson. Sedona has led a very protective life between her Dad who is Alpha of her former pack and her older brother, Garrett who is Alpha of her current pack. All her friends from school are going to Mexico for spring break and Garrett finally agrees to let her go but she must check in with him every day. Sedona had no idea what would happen when she went jogging alone on the beach in Mexico. She certainly didn't think getting drugged and kidnapped would lead her to her fated mate. Carlos Montelobo became the Alpha of his pack in Mexico when he was 16 years old and his Father died. He spent the majority of his time in the United States going to school while a Council of Elders ran his pack. He was now home for good and trying to get the people in his pack out of the past and out of poverty. The population of his pack has been dwindling and his Council decides to take matters into their hands. They have Sedona kidnapped and brought to them where they lock her and a clueless Carlos into the dungeon in his castle. It's a full moon and they're basically using Carlos as a stud without his knowledge knowing he won't be able to control himself with Sedona. I loved Carlos and I felt sorry for him between the Council screwing him and then Sedona running away from him pregnant with his child. Sedona acted like a spoiled child and she really pissed me off when she put herself, her baby, and Carlos in danger by going to a shifter bar in Paris.
I struggled to finish this one. Parts were great engaging and enjoyable. But the underlying story and the two main characters left me rolling my eyes ( think they are still spinning). We have a totally spoiled pack princess ( Sedona) who has anything and everything she wants, who is for most of this book dumb!!! She solves her problems by running away using her pack's obviously endless funds or dashing in not taking notice, she is a very undisciplined pack member, which I found odd given how pack dynamics are depicted by these and other writers. The dumber hero - ( if you could call him that)- Carlos - is a returning pack member learning his way round being alpha to a pack controlled by an arsehole council of older wolves who are obviously :- skimming the pack's assests and funds, killing any who oppose them, keeping his mother drugged, plotting to kill him, and meedling in slavery, kidnapping and genetic manipulation. The H takes 80% of the book to click to this (duh) despite obvious cues, warnings and events , the has no compunction about leaving his obviously ill and endangerd mother to chase the TSTL pack princess half way round the world, he has knocked her up in a dungeon to appeased his council!! ( oh and everyone else could smell/tell she was pregnant but he couldn't even though she was his mate - dumber) I could go on, but really everyone will react differently. I set myself the goal of reading this series and really its the only reason I finished this.
