Book 1 in the Omega series Untouched At Omega, there is one steadfast rule. Don’t touch Claire. Claire Proto is one of many that live and work out of the converted mansion. All of them have an ability that goes beyond the five senses. Claire’s is empathy. With one touch she can heal just about any illness, but the ability comes with a downside. Claire can feel everything, not just the emotions they were feeling at that moment but all of the emotions ever experienced. Sickness and pain she can tolerate, but as soon as the healing is done, she has to back off or she risks the psychological damage of someone else’s baggage. Living at Omega, among others who understand and support her has helped with the loneliness, but she is still doomed to be alone. That is until Justice Turner and his brother Jordan show up. For the first time since she was a teenager, Claire might just have to take the risk, because being touched by Justice Turner is all she can think about.
Lynn Leite is an author, artist, teacher and mother of three. Her wild imagination, and gift for gab blended perfectly in 2009, when she decided to write it all down. In addition to writing, she designs and illustrates her own covers.
I loved the concept of this book, but the sentences and conversations look like they were written by a 7th grade English student. Get an editor and republish and I’d love to finish reading it.
I read this in one sitting. I like stories where doing the right thing, makes a difference. Where the good guys come out on top. Give me the happy ending. The characters interested me and I want to know what is next. What do you get if an empathic healer is crossed with an aura reader?
Once again you have caught my attention straight from the get go. The story is entertaining and gives away just enough information to make you want to keep reading more and more. Can't wait to follow these new characters through their lives.
They all have special talent and Claire is an empath &healer but can't be touched. But that might change when her destined mate arrives.. Another great series starts with a bang - More
I like these books the stories are good and you really like the characters. It’s nice to have them in a series so you get to know themI look forward to the rest of the series. I have enjoyed her other books and recommended them.
Lynn Leite's books are just head's if you like paranormal.
I have loved the author's books since I read Bitten! Her characters always seem real and likeable; they also have a sense of humor along with their adventures.
I normally really fall into the books by this author, but for some reason I just couldn't connect with the characters. The story felt forced and I struggled throughout the book to finish.
