Omegas’ Destined Alpha #2

The Alpha’s Mistake

Rate this book
MMM Alpha/Omega Mpreg Romance

One night. One rash mistake made in fear. And an Omega who is willing to give everything up for the happiness of others…

Nathan
Last night with Zeke and Wes was amazing, more than I ever thought would be possible. But when I go to the cafe to see them the next morning, things go a little differently than expected. Wes is at home ill and that hits me in a way that surprises both Zeke and me.
In a reflex, I do something I shouldn’t have done, and now nothing will ever be the same again…

Zeke
Last night went so well, but this morning has been one problem after another. Seeing Wes in the worst state he’s been in since I first met him has affected me more than I thought it would. But then, the way that Nathan reacts…
Things are changing so fast, but now I know one thing above all, I’m no longer the only one there for Wes…

Wes
I can’t believe I’ve been this stupid. I should never have gotten this attached to Zeke, because I know that he’ll leave me when he finds his Alpha. And it seems that he may have found him, in Nathan. I will do everything I can to give them the happiness they deserve.
So, why do I feel so sick every time I think of them together, without me…

This is the second novella about Alpha Nathan and Omegas Zeke and Wes in Omegas’ Destined Alpha, which takes place in the non-shifter Omegaverse Mates Wold and contains mpreg (male-pregnancy).

I just want these three to be happy, take care of all the kids, have their own kids, and like spend the whole day in bed loving each other and being angst-free!

Yeah, I think it’s going to take a while for that to all happen. Lots of angst and problems as the feelings start to grow between Nathan, Wes, and Zeke. They’re all worried about what will happen, how 2 omegas can be with an alpha, and Wes especially thinks he will be left out.

Enjoying this so far, can’t wait to see what will happen now that some claiming is going on!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

The Alpha's Mistake (Omegas' Destined Alpha #2) (ARC) was graciously provided to me by the author for an honest review.

The Power Of One's Heart....

Having just finished reading, The Alpha's Mistake by Rosa Swann, I am amazed to have read such a gripping, heart-breaking, emotional, heart-warming, hopeful type of read.  As I continue to read about three men who attempt to tread lightly down an unforeseen and confusing road, as a different type of relationship slowly begins to develop between two loving omegas and a new alpha, named Nathan, I will admit, I wasn't originally excited with the concept.  I absolutely adore Wes and Zeke, but, this story, their relationship, has been written in such a way that it seems to be less painful as it would originally have been.  Oh, it's still a bit difficult to read, but, knowing that the existence of Fate, with its slowly made presence, has made the relationship of these two omegas, both of whom crave and truly need the deep-seeded connection of the other, a priority, while at the same time leaving the door slightly ajar for another, has helped. This person, Nathan, being a kind and caring alpha, thereby making it his mission to protect both of these delicate young men, as all three of them put one foot in front of the other as they begin to walk down this long and winding road called life..

Gah..  I seem to be saying that a lot lately as I am constantly coming across stories that pull out all of the feels from me..  But, it's true.  The Alpha's Mistake is yet another example of a story that takes me down a road that is filled with heart-ache, despair, uncertainty, a whole lot of tissues, and, the slight beginnings of warmed hope.  I adored Wes and Zeke from the previous series, Making a Family, and, having been in a constant state of worry and concern over the direction of their relationship, as they are two omegas, and, in the Omegaverse world, it is not the norm for two omegas to co-habitate, I continued to have concern in this story as well.  Throughout this particular story, confusion, fear, and, desire were the three predominant types of emotions which ran amuck through the minds of these three confused individuals, and, despite having no sense of true direction, their bodies and minds took over, having their hearts either take complete control later on, or, play a game of catch-up, thereby in turn making decisions for them.

As the men go through a tug-of-war between their minds and their hearts, and, as Wes continues to heal from his abusive past, and, despite continuing to crave and need the existence of Zeke, and as it broke my heart, made the decision of sacrifice as a result of such love, a sacrifice having been made as the end result of having discovered the existence of a true alpha..for Zeke.  *gasp*  However, through sickness, continued confusion, and the needed presence of an alpha, these three men, through the help of some wonderful secondary characters, who I also continue to love, made their way down this road, all to find a very surprising end result of their initial discovery of one certain alpha. An end result that neither man quite knew how to handle...

I continue to love Wes, Zeke, and, Nathan's story, and, despite the trepidation I had as to the direction the three of them would be able to take, I loved this installment of their story.  I continue to find the storyline to be a great one, the plot to be pretty smooth, despite the existence of some typos, and, the continued need for another run through the editing process, as there were some confusing moments.  I continue to love the secondary characters and always find it a joy to read about them again.  It also had one of those endings that not only blind-sided me but also had me intermittently bawling or quietly cheering, not knowing which one I wanted to focus on at the time..  One thing is for sure, I can't wait for the next installment of the Omegas' Destined Alpha.. :)

Another great read from Rosa Swann and Omega's Destined Alpha book 2. I'd recommend reading book one first.
Rosa's writing really draws you into the story and what's going on between our three MC's.
Wes is struggling to deal with the possibility losing Zeke to Nathan and his attraction to both of them, though especially to Nathan after what happened with his first alpha.
Zeke is worried about Wes and why he's so ill at the moment but also about the connection he feels coming to life between himself and Nathan.
Nathan is extremely stresses and worried about Wes after the night the three of them had together but also excited for the connection he can feel between all of them.
It may sound tangled but everything works and flows really well together. Rosa keeps us up to date with the three characters as they have have a chapter each throughout the book.
I love how protective Wes' brother is with Wes and the goings on between them all. Understandable after what happened before but you can feel the emotions Nathan has for the two omegas, regardless of how confusing it is for him and against the norm in society for three in a relationship.
I enjoyed this installment and an am looking forward to the third. We get a glimpse of Nathan interacting with Wes' two youngest children and I look forward to how he does with the two oldest children.
I received an ARC from the author and am happily giving a review.

Complicated relationships create interesting dynamics as three men fall in love. I love the character development that the author is showing us as we read along with her story.

Zeke, Wes and Nathan each have a hurtful past, so creating a future together will take time and patience. I am looking forward to the next installment and getting to know these men a bit more. I am hooked on this series!

This is a series that must be read in sequence to be enjoyed and appreciated.

I received an ARC at no cost from the author

I’m much more drawn into this series than I was the last one.
I NEED to know that Wes is gonna get his HEA. In this episode it’s still unclear especially given his reckon to seeing the bond between Nathan and Zeke.
Really enjoying getting to know Zeke better. Intrigued to find out what it his that happened in his past.
It will be interesting to see how the triad will move forward now as they’ve bonded!
I love the dynamic with Wes and Zeke and looking forward to seeing how Nathan will fit into that.

This is the second book in The Omega's Destined Alpha Series. An interesting book the writing was. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters wonderful. The characters were developed and thought out. Nathan an Alpha, Zeke and Wes are Omegas and they are the MC’s of this book. There was humor, a Cafe, coworkers, gossiping Omegas, mates, interesting events, kids and so much more in this book. I can recommend. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

The Alpha's Mistake starts to get deeper into the backstories of Zeke, Wes, and Nathan.. and brings out more of the deeper emotions, too. My heart breaks for Zeke and what his future unfortunately is supposed to be like. But I also feel so deeply for Wes, as it is clear how much he cares for Zeke and is blindsided by what is revealed in this installment. And poor Nathan, trying to figure out his place in all of this too. But now that they have to figure out where to go next, the story is really ramping up and I am excited to see what happens in part 3.

liked overall, but didn't like how Nathan thought about omegas moving out of their current home but living alone without him in picture. it didn't even cross his mind. he was like "yeah, two omegas and kids living alone isn't going to turn well in our society". and I was like "huh? why would you even think about that? don't you want to live with them? them to move in with you?"

Love this second installment as we get more of Wes, Zeke and Nathan. Great story with surprising events that I did not expect but really enjoyed. It's an emotional read but not heavy and I can't wait to see what happens next!

A weekend of fun

Zeke, Wes and Nathan go out for dinner and end up back home with Nathan again. This time Nathan marks Zeke as Zeke marks Wes. They are all now together with internal battles as well as outside battles to face.

Boring.

As I thought, another cliff hanger. And sad to say on my part, I won't know the ending. The author, Rosa Swann, butchered the story for me. She may have readers that like this type of deal but I don't. Her readers must swoon over this and get their jollies.

A quick read - continuation of the series. I liked the lack of thinking needed to enjoy it. (That doesn't sound like a compliment but it was so intended!)
