What an emotional rollercoaster of a journey this story was! Don't let the length of this story get you down or have you change your mind about reading it. Just. DO. IT! Hands down, one of the best love stories I've read. Bought it on Kobo for like $4 and it was worth so much more! It's so filled with love, laughter, sadness, heartache, plot twists and it possesses you utterly! I've become so attached to every character one way or another and love all of them and every page has forced me to keep swiping on because I now have separation issues with this story. Never have I laughed, cried, smiled, and wanted to whip my phone across a room with rage over a book until this one. Come on October :'( !! I needs more Allyssa and Kian and the whole gang!!

I'm in LOVE!!!! Truly in love with this brick of wonder, rock stars, drama, and alll the ***sighs. Hats off to the author of this book. Not sure when Long for You comes out in ebook format in 2019, but definitely waiting...impatiently :) I think it's about time I start giving Indies more of a chance because if there are more like this, I'm down! Time to start my search :)

I give this a 4.5 even though it strongly deserves a 5
the reason being is that it cost 25 pounds for the paperback, which sure, is a big chunk, but soooooooo worth it. It took me a while to save up for the paperback on Amazon, but the moment I heard about it on twitter, I had to have it. It was risky because of the price but sometimes I take those chances and was glad I did. This one is so much different from the rest of the romance novels out there. It wasn't just all rough kinky sex, no mentally scarred and abusive boyfriend which the girl approves of and swoons over again and again (Kian loves this woman to death and the thought of hurting her would hurt him tenfold--THAT IS LOVE PEOPLE!!!NOT ABUSE OR ABUSIVE BEHAVIOUR THAT IS SEEN BLINDLY AS LOVE), the main lady maybe quiet, naive and shy but she isn't a dummy and has her own supply of force when she needs it. The love these two have is so deep and the writer depicts such a love in a very unique and artistic kind of way, and she keeps it real, as if she had kept in mind of what would happen in real life in such a situation rather than what should happen. The characters are so very human and with so many dimensions and the story goes very in depth (which is why its as thick as it is haha) but in a good way. I felt like I understood every character, felt for them, heard their thoughts and began to imagine them as real people. A.C Sullivan has the gift to describe any situation and sensation, which really opens the door to us readers to experiencing the world she created and makes you believe in love and that it does exist, that everything happens for a reason and can happen anytime, anywhere, and that every second counts. On top of all that, you have all the fun and laughs of the rock star life, hanging around with musicians and rampant lads full of life and adventure surrounding the everyday life at the Treble Shack bar and the fact that she really included the secondary characters like the bandmates and other waitresses and bartenders into the story makes it that much more unique, all of them with lessons to learn and ways to evolve. In a way, (as much as I love my classics) even though Sullivan is still a newbie and has a long way to go, and if she continues to grow and carry on with the great work, I could see these stories passing onto generations, much like a modern day Jane Austen or Charlotte Bronte, authors who truly and soulfully write from the heart and soul that breathe life into them. a hello and congrats from across the pond darlin! (love from Belfast to Canada!) Looking forward to Long for You next year!

A sweet, yet intense love story, none like I've read before. I'm not crazy about books with heavy erotica but this has the right amount and it's more passionate, hot and romantic than it is smutty and vulgar, which is a thumbs up for me. It's rare to find romance like this these days in books and not only are both the hero and heroine very likable, but so are the secondary characters. The love triangle and secret affair might have been a wrong among Allyssa and Kian, especially when it's his brother, but it just really tests their love, who they are as people and adds an angsty twist within all the rock star fun and fame. Kian, though, (***WOW***) has to be one of my favourite book boyfriends as of late. Tall, dark, mysterious, misunderstood, handsome beyond reason and absurdly sexy, carries with him a dark and twisted painful past that could have destroyed just about anyone yet doesn't let it chill his heart. Most characters with a background like that is usually abusive or out of control. He's the ultimate bad boy but totally respects and adores the lady he holds on a high pedestal above all else, which to me is one of the sexiest traits of this man. And just as Pride and Prejudice got mentioned within the story of how Kian resembled Fitzwilliam Darcy and his brother like Wickam, I began to see the resemblance when I backtracked during her introduction phase with Kian and it couldn't be anymore like Lizzie Bennett and Mr Darcy, which excited me even more at the thought and giggled at the way they used to bunt heads. haha It was a long, emotional rollercoaster of a read, but soooooooo worth it and on my reading again list. Wistfully waiting for Long for You Miss Sullivan ! xo

I had ordered this book from Amazon around the beginning of May, received it a week later, and finished this treasure yesterday. One of the best love stories I've read, ever. I was a little worried of the price and thickness of the book, however. I had high hopes and those hopes were met and greatly exceeded my expectations. All my office ladies kept peeking over my shoulder while I read on breaks and wanted to see what all the fuss was about, seeing as I haven't been that nose deep in a book for as long as most could remember. I was hooked from page one and highly recommended to my co-workers and will recommend it to my sister and daughters. I really hope she writes more to the story or just more books in general. I've fallen in love with the characters and I still have so many questions about what is next! I'm hooked and need my next fix. Among my favourite authors like Nora Roberts, Sylvia Day, Colleen Hoover, Samantha Young, Katy Evans, Christina Lauren, Tammara Webber, Jamie McGuire, Abbi Glines, Kristin Hannah, etc.... A.C.Sullivan will definitely be added to my list of authors to keep tabs on for the latest releases and upcoming projects. Strongly recommend. Not only does it have such a strong and passionate love story, but so much character development with all of them, every character has a story and truly shows how human these people are. Oh, sweet love and the turmoils that come with the triangle and sibling rivalry. The dark past of the Clarke twins truly throws in a chilling element. Again, I strongly recommend giving this new author a chance! For someone so young to have a talent like this is remarkable and it's just the beginning! Desperately waiting for Long for You in 2019!

Well, I would be a horrible liar if I said I wasn't a hopeless romantic, being the musician and pisces that I am haha I have read my fair share of novels that carry romantic elements in them and I was instantly bought when my flat mate just finished reading the ebook last month and told me about it. All she had to do was to tell me there were fellow aussie rock stars, a triangle between twin brothers, good comedy, intense storytelling, a shocking and traumatizing past for the twins with full depth of the world of a broken family, foster care, testing the strength of a brotherly bond, abuse of all kinds and surviving it like a warrior, and so romantic that the sweetness of it could possibly give you diabetes. Not going to lie, some of the scenes were pretty hot and the slow, suspenseful seduction had me needing to go for a good jog every now and again haha! I mean, what more could you want in a story and best part, it continues on! When I made it to the end, I huffed furiously at the thought of there possibly not being a sequel but when I read the final page and back to the front, I cheered. Props to this book, so beautifully written and well put together. Good job! Can't wait to continue the story in 2019!

Bought this for my wife's birthday and it arrived just the day before! on the 7th of may. She needed something new to read and nothing seemed to phase her as she journeyed through amazon, B&N, etc. That or I think she got tired of looking. She whined about how all the books seem to be the same stories or just wasn't feeling any of them. So, I remembered Lulu had a selection of great indie books and checked out all the romance novels. I was in a bind between two, this one seemed expensive but with so many pages to work with I thought it would keep her busy for a while, so, I followed my gut and got her this one. And it was a bullseye. She loved it from the get go. I heard her laugh from the other rooms of the house, I heard her sob while I watched TV annnd kinda saw her blush every now and again with an interesting smile on her face. Then I had to hear the intense mourning of how the sequel wasn't out yet haha! I take it she loved it, so I loved it too. So, please! Hurry with the sequel :) Preferably have it around May or April again! :D

I love rock star fiction. I've read all of Kylie Scott's Stage Dive, Olivia Cunning's Sinners on tour, Black Falcon,Runaway train and so forth. Love them. Not a single one out there is bad. My sister got me into the Thoughtless Series, which was...don't get me wrong...was good in it's own way, at least a 4 stars, but the story got annoying, very annoying very fast. SO,when she recommended this to me around the end of april, I was skeptical, especially with a love triangle of twin brothers who both happen to be part of one of the greatest rock bands ever. But, I bought the ebook, gave it a chance a week later and was NOT what I expected. It was a marathon read, no doubt, it took me nearly three weeks in between work and the gym, but O-M-G! Probably one of the best rock star dramas or books I've ever read. period. I would have to say she's in Kylie Scott's league (who happens to be my all time fave author). Looking forward to the upcoming sequel. Everyone needs a little more Kian Clarke in their life...or even a Jesse. Had to. LOL

I'm a hopeless romantic and have a grand collection of all sorts. As a stay at home mom of two boys and fur baby, my greatest pass time is reading. Victoria weekend was coming up and I needed a new read, desperately, seeing as my mom was taking the boys for the entire long weekend to give me a break (much needed)I was surfing Twitter the other day just to see what was new and exciting. When I stumbled across this hidden diamond, I couldn't help but notice she was a new author and indie at that. As a sucker for supporting indie Canadian artists, I couldn't help myself, especially for just $13. I've read many love stories, and THIS! This has got to be one of the best love stories I've read in years. When my mom came back with the kids I was still glued to my iPad, finishing the final chapters. So much for sleep that weekend haha! Can't wait for the sequel to come out!!! I need more, like, now! LOL

Hi!
I'm not really into romance dramas (more into comics, manga, or sci-fi)but to please the gf we both decided it would be nice that we each take turns in picking books to read together to spend more quality time while we're not working. I made her read 1984 with me last time, and this was what she picked this time. She has a thing for giving indie musicians and authors a chance and she noticed this on Twitter about a month ago and finally ordered the ebook. After a week in between shifts, reading together on her dinky laptop, I have to say props to A.C.Sullivan. Jesse Hughes is officially my hero. Kinda makes me want to switch from my bass guitar to maybe learn drums now haha His level of savagery is worshipable (is that a word???) but yes, great love story, great humour, and it pulls you deeper to want to know more, not just the main characters, but all of them. As a dude, I have to say its a big deal when I say I hope the gf thinks about getting the sequel when it comes out.

Just finished reading on the way home from work! I don't think I've stuck to a book like this in a long time. I couldn't put my phone down except for showers and working! I even got back into the ability to eating with one hand haha! I had purchased this lovely from iTunes a good four days ago and got sucked in. Sullivan's use of words and poetry of the human emotion and view on love was just... beautiful. I felt the love between Allyssa and Kian, I felt the joys, the sadness, the pain, and turmoils. This story makes you want to fall in love no matter how many times you've been hurt. It also kinda makes you want to be a rock star too haha! Love all the characters and they have become my new little family :) looking forward to book 2 in 2019. Fab job miss Sullivan on the debut. I'll be coming back for more xo love from the UK to Canada. Definitely going to tell the ladies about this one.

HI! My daughter noticed the add for this book on Twitter, showed it to me to see if I thought it seemed pretty good. And of course, I thought it had an interesting storyline. i don't know much about computers haha but she has been showing me how to read books on my new ipad the last year, which keeps me busy. She ordered me the ebook for mothers day, along with an itunes gift card and bottle of wine. lucky me haha. I've been reading this non stop and I'm hooked! I'm stuck right before the last couple of chapters because I don't want it to end but I need to know how it ends!!!!! I'm feeling the best kind of torture. The romance is so good, it makes you feel so many emotions at once and I felt like I was there the entire read! Just wish I knew when the second one is coming out so I can hold onto my gift card and not have it expire.

OMG! I just ordered the e-book three days ago and couldn't put it down. Sure, it was a lengthy story, but worth every word!!! I laughed, I cried, and the Clarke brothers are officially my new book boyfriends, especially Kian. I'm not one to like love triangle stories or sneaking around, but the love in this story is so sweet and so powerful. Definitely on my read again, and again list. I'm in love!!! eek!
This is where you can buy it! So worth the 13$. May 2-4 weekend well spent in the sun :)
