But when Milton reveals that he added his “old Milton touch” on their project right before turning it in, Ada worries that he has sabotaged their work.

In a desperate attempt to save their project, Ada and Nina use their combined creative and technical prowess to perform a heist and break into their teacher’s supply closet after school.

Do the two friends have what it takes to deceive the school’s security system? Or will they get caught trying to pull off this seemingly impossible mission?

Book #4 in this series.
This time Ada and her two friends learn about teamwork and trusting each other. They learn about heists and how to break in to places - not the best decision and they learn that quickly.
Not my favorite in the series as the message is mixed.

I really enjoyed reading this with my niece. It talks about kids having to work together and what happens when you have conflicting personalities. Which I really enjoyed because that’s real life, everybody is not always going to get along all the time. And how do we work with people that are very different from us? I would recommend it. 😊

Charming kids STEM story centered around a social studies project and a heist. Again, friendship is a big component of this one, trying to include the former nemesis with her best friend in a school project and feeling caught in the middle… struggles with trust… good story. Highly recommend this series for any early elementary student!

My son rates this five stars. We liked learning about locks, canaries, lasers, and escape rooms. We enjoy the Ada Lace series and can't wait to read the next book.

Great book for kids. I used this as a read aloud with my 8 year old daughter and 10 year old son. They both loved it. My older son probably enjoyed it more. All the books in this series has been great. I hope she writes more!

What a cute book! I love the variety of characters, and also the information at the end about the different things in the book that may be new to kids, like laser security cameras. I am looking forward to sharing this with my students. There are not enough good transitional chapter books out there, but this series looks to change that!

I enjoyed this book. The series would be a great addition to my classroom. I wish I had started with the first book in the series, to understand more about the characters, but I really liked it and I can see my students liking it as well.

Oh, Ada, Ada. How I love you. The Ada Lace series is a wonderful bridge for young readers working their way up to thicker, meatier books. These fill the gender gap in the STEM field, a great start at a young age. This one is no exception.

In Ada Lace and the Impossible Mission we find Ada back at it with her friend Nina and, of course, Milton shows up as well. From gecko gloves to a fish tie to a glittery miner's pick, Impossible Mission takes young readers on another kid-friendly adventure of creativity and curiosity Ada-style.

This is a must-read in the continuing Ada Lace saga and would make a great starter book in the series, too, for gift giving. Whether a school librarian or a homeschool mom, a grandma or a bookshop owner, Ada Lace and the Impossible Mission is definitely shelf-worthy!

A very nice beginning chapter book, although I will admit that the "spanking machine" in chapter two really soured me on the whole thing. Spanking is child abuse and not a funny plot point.
