Andy and her space marines are in for the fight of their life. Sent on a mission to rescue POWS, Andy knows this will be life or death. Battle after battle takes place and Andy finally faces her Arkana father. What will transpire between the two and will everyone survive? I liked this action packed novella. It keeps with the story and adds more intrigue into the overall storyline, but it seemed to drag a bit in the middle. Now that Andy and her brother basically told their father no, they won’t be retreating to his side, I will be interested in seeing what the Arkana will pull next.
Lykos is the sixth book in the ESS Space Marines series. It’s a great story to be read apart or with the rest of the series.
I would recommend this story to young adults and adults alike who enjoy fast paced science fiction space military stories.
Like all the previous books in this series, this one grabbed my attention and didn't let go. All of the descriptions are so vivid that seeing them in my mind as I read required very little imagination on my part. I love this series. If you are new to this series, it is best to start reading from the beginning.
