Thought-provoking. That is the #1 word to describe The Final Cut. The idea behind the story is very futuristic and technologically driven. The book read like a movie, which I suppose makes sense due to it being adapted from the movie version. It is quite a page-turner with very short chapters. However, if the chapters were longer, I am not sure how fast I would have read through the book. The main plot among the characters is fairly basic, and the characters themselves are not fleshed out very much. Overall, a decent story to make your gears turn about the what-if’s of the future and the memories of your own past.

This book will make you think for sure. I have not seen the movie, and probably never will.
