Open Door

Scott was in a rut. He had broken up with his cheating girlfriend and lost his job within a very short amount of time. Scott needed a job and he needed something new to get him back on track.

Then his best friend and former lover Alicia tells him that she is getting married. While he is happy for her, Scott has never met Dex and he is a little leery that she is getting married too fast. When he meets the man she has married, Scott can instantly see why. Dex is handsome and rich, but there was something more that pulled him to the man. There was something in Dex’s eyes that made Scott wonder.

When he was offered an assistance job with Dex, Scott has to take it. He was excited for the opportunity and getting to know Alicia’s new husband. What he learned was going to change everything forever and he had a choice to make. Was Scott supposed to follow what he was supposed to do or should he throw caution to the wind and go for what his heart ached for?

This was pretty good, but I felt like it could have been so much better! It's about a man who has no idea he's gay (or bi I suppose?) until he is attracted and seduced by his best friend's (who is a girl and a former girlfriend) husband. But it isn't really cheating when said husband is a closeted gay man and the best friend is his beard.

A cute short entertaining story of two very flawed main characters. Also there are a few other short stories included.

1.5 Stars Couldn't feel the connection between MC at all. This rating is just for the Open Door story, not the other short stories. I enjoyed some of the other short stories and rated them separately where possible.
