Another decent cozy mystery from the witches of shadow lake.

I am enjoying the continuing mystery of Alan and Belladonna it's great to have this little side mystery continue with every story along with another big new mystery within in each soty and this time with one of the towns own being murdered it really does seems politics is murder, can Addie and Lucian put aside personal differences to find another killer or is it really the end of their short lived romance.

This series started out with a lot of promise. In this third book, however, the tone completely changed and it just went downhill from there. The youngest sister had always been arrogant and prejudice against non-magical people (even though she’s dating one). She was horrendous and had very little, if any, redeeming qualities. The older sister is odd, formal, and very dated.

The only sister who was remotely relatable or likable is the middle sister. However, the middle sister suddenly became very arrogant, rude, and completely unaware of herself. She talked down to every man in the book, she acted like she was better than everyone, and she man bashed repeatedly throughout the entire book.

There were inaccuracies that were related to what happened in the first book. There was also a very obvious plot twist that I think even the characters themselves would have seen coming.

It seemed like something had happened to the authors to cause them to take this negative tone throughout the book, which convinced me I didn’t want to waste my time in finishing the series.

A disappointment for something that started off so interesting.

Kilorian Sisters #3

Wow!! Just finished the third installment of the Kilorian Sisters. Learn the answer to some of the questions surrounding the change in Darla, the disappearance of Alan, reasons for Dom coming to the manor and will a fallen angel come for his child and Keira?

Outstanding

I just love this series, can’t wait for the next book. All you could want magic murder mystery and mayhem. There is a dark tread behind the scenes all the time and you want to crush the evil. A must read enjoy.

Great mystery

A great story that ties up one mystery but leaves many questions at the end. Hopefully they will be answered in future books.
