Bear shifters are a close-knit lot, preferring to run in large clans among the thick forests and cool caves of their territory. When a forest fire destroys their home, Lance packed up his family and moved to Cave City, Kentucky. Lance looks after his younger brother while working the daylight hours as a National Park Ranger, running cave tours and answering countless questions from visitors of all ages. I liked this book; it was a quick read. I wished some of their conversations were written out instead of told, though, so we'd learn more about Crystal's backstory. I would be interested in reading a book with Beth and the younger brother, lol.

I don't think I've ever read a book where the hero turns into a bear (he's a bear shifter, you know, instead of a werewolf), so that was interesting.

I will say I've never seen such awful formatting in a book. The book looked like it was a Word document with no indentations. I suggest the author use Reedsy to format (it's free).

Anyway, thanks to the author for the ARC! This hasn't affected my review.

sexy ranger meets his mate

Cute little story which is my only complaint it’s short. Would love more about this storyline. Crystal and Lance have a whirlwind romance but again it’s a very short story. I did like what I read though that why it’s got 4 stars

I received this as an ARC. My review is honest and unbiased.
This is a very quick read. The story itself is pretty linear. I only wish we would get to know the background of the characters as we do not get almost anything about their past. It was a pleasant read anyway.

Short and sweet

The book is cute. It is short and sweet. No drama, just boy meets girl and falls in love. HEA and all that. Not a bad book just wanted a bit more.
