This is the 2nd In-Fisherman book I’ve read, and it’s formatted the same way with a heavy focus on the season and it’s appropriate locations and techniques. It’s a decent format, but reading two books in the series close together feels very redundant. There’s lots of fish specific examples, but there’s also a lot of repeating. The book is ok.
I suppose that the age of this book limits its effectiveness and dates its techniques. I just kept thinking that the "get more and bigger walleyes in any season" message is irresponsible, given the state of most fisheries. The authors claim that more education is the key to conservation, but that's not the message I was getting from the text.
