A Valentine's Day Novella - Why she wear that? Look at her…Somebody her size shouldn't…She ain't gonna never… Kids can be cruel, but it was what their parents whispered about me when they thought I wasn't listening that affected my self-esteem the most. - Leonie
Leonie was teased about her weight for the majority of her life. From the kids at school to her mother's friends, she was constantly put down and berated by her peers and others because of her size. It became the norm for someone to judge her based on her looks, not what was in her heart. Discovering her boyfriend Tristan was using her for his own personal gain broke her spirit for the last time; she realized she'd giving herself away for the sake of others for far too long. Enter Keyon, the police officer who women loved to see in a uniform and on their arm. Dating had become too easy; he longed for THE woman that made him take a second look. Responding to Leonie's cry for help when Tristan stole her car, Keyon's faith in love at first sight was restored. But would she reciprocate? Or would Leonie brush him off as just another user? Keyon and Leonie's worlds collide on a steamy night in Jamaica when a one-night stand turns into something much more life changing. Will the change bring this unlikely couple together? Or does Leonie let her insecurities about her weight stand in the way of her chance at happiness? Find out if Keyon's Valentine's Day promise is one that he keeps or if Leonie chooses to love herself above everyone else.

What a great way to spend my Valentines day, reading this story. A great story about true love. I'm happy that Leonie and Keyon finally got it together . They both had issues that they were dealing with, but heck, who doesn't? She's my girl, but she was starting to work the one nerve that I have left with her insecurity. I wanted to reach into the book and snatch her out by her hair. She had to realize that you have to love yourself and know your self worth, before anything else. Even though she made me so mad that my blood pressure went up, throughout the entire book, she is still my favorite character.
Looking for a quick read love story? Then this is it. I liked this story because there are so many different ways that this book could have went & the author didnt give you any clues on what was gonna happen. You had to read til the end to find out. There was even a surprise thrown in at the end. Definitely a book for a hopeless romantic. Another book by Fatima Munroe that you wont regret downloading.
I gave this book 5 stars because it was entertaining as well as insightful. Leoni was a Plus sized Diva that didn't know her true worth but thank goodness Keyon came into her life and changed how she saw herself. Janese is a spoiled brat and a stalker she needs to move on. As for Tristan or James or whatever his name is In glad that he finally got his life together. I highly recommend this book of you're looking for a short but entertaining book.
Fatima bae you did it again as always. Keyon is bae and Leonie was making me mad at first but I’m glad she got her happy ending. Tristan lol I mean James redeemed himself at the end I’m glad he got some sense and didn’t try anything else stupid. Great love story and I have never been disappointed by any of your books. Keep on sharing your talents. Love you
This book was so good.. I just knew that was Keyon that Leonie was with on the cruise.. I'm so glad that they ended up together.. Jenesse tried it by coming by the house to tell on Leonie.. But it didn't work.. I think it was good for James (Tristan) apologize.. Great book..
I loved how Keyon didn't take advantage of her tht night knowing she was hurting & feeling uncomfortable. I was glad Leonie gave herself tht pep talk bout loving ur self first. I knw Keyon loved her from the beginning he was just waiting on her to realize it. I can't wait to read the 2 books Fatima mentioned in this story.
This story is a true romance for real. To lose a jerk, gain a secret like, lose the like to a dumb love, to get sex crazy, pregnant and have love again. All in one novel. Yes I have told you half but that is nothing compared to reading it whole for yourself. Big girls this book is for us. I love the underline message in this book. It is something that I will take to heart.
I really enjoyed this book it flowed from the beginning to the end I'm glad Keyon and Leonie finally found their way back together I loved this book about true love. And also was able to pick up on my next read by you keep up the great work.
I loved it before and I love it now. Kenyon know he wrong for tricking her and waiting all that time. them wasting his time with them girls. Leonie girl I would have 2 pieced Tristan in that restaurant
Great Storyline, it drew me in from the beginning to the end.. majority of the book hit on a situation I’m dealing and it help me see the late even on the Valentine’s Day
Very touching. I actually like how James and Leonie end up being cordial with each other. I loved it when Kenyon kicked Jenessa to the curb. Well slapped with them words we not married. Lol. Keep them coming girl.
I loved how Keyon loved Leonie! He went to great lengths to show her how a man should love a woman! I glad her friend called him to stop the adoption! This is my first book by you and I will be going through your catalog!
I really enjoyed this book! Fatima never Disappoints! I fell in love with the characters. A great story about true love. Had me all in my feelings! A must read!! 👏🏽🔥👏🏽🔥👏🏽
This was a good short story. Leonie was ridiculed all of her life about her weight. That in turn made her insecure. Once she finally got with Keyon, he showed her how a woman was supposed to be treated.
Leonie has so much doubt and insecurities running around in her brain that she pushed away her true love. I’m glad that faith allowed her and Keyon to turn a moment into a lifetime...
We can be our own worst enemy. Lonie was that her worst enemy. She push everything away because she believes other people's truths. Now she needs to fix it. I recommend this book to everyone. A must for a lazy afternoon.
Girllllll that book spoke to my soul okurrrrttttttttt! You did an awesome job telling Leonie's story. I was pissed for a second and thought I was going to have to kick Keyon's butt! & Are we really going to play like Ny didn't set her up in Jamaica? Five stars!
This was a very good book in displaying and uplifting bbw’s! I’m glad that positive views on self esteem was shown. I will be looking forward to more from this author.
