Pacey:

I haven't breathed properly in four years. The bullet that ripped my girlfriend away from me in Iraq, ripped a May shaped hole in my heart that I don't want to fill. Pacey lost his love May on a mission. So he promised her memory that he would stay single the rest of his life. Until he meets Juliana. His one night stands were women who were taken. Well Juliana just broke up with her cheating boyfriend. Can Pacey be more than a one night stand kind of man? Great read. This book includes seven extra books. The first extra book is called Gamed with Quinn and Owen. The second extra book is called Bad Professor with Clarity and Ford. The third extra book is called Addicted with Nate and Abby. The fourth extra book is called Fireworks with Cora and Brody. The fifth extra book is called Conviction with Ollie and Wren. The sixth extra book is called Bad Coach with Eryn and Wade. The last extra book is called Roomies with Leila and Dane.

I voluntarily submitted this review after reading an advanced copy of this book.

The angst shown by Pacey, the main character, I am sure is not an entirely fictional feeling for those returned soldiers, who have lost comrades in arms and also seen and done things that are sure to leave marks on their souls.
However, a good partner, can erase those issues, perhaps not eliminating them, but elevating the pain and nightmarish symptoms from the retired soldier's being.
Thank you again Ms Adams for a sensitive and understanding story, which although romantic in parts, was dramatic and suspenseful in others.

Lacey left the SEALs after his friend May was killed on a mission. He mourned May until he met Juliana. Great story follows!
