It was literally insane. I was 24 years old, and I felt like I was rich. I could go anywhere, at any time, and had no one to answer to. This site was getting millions of views a month and here's the catch... he was younger than me. What I was doing online seemed completely obvious. Anyone could do it. But, when I explained it, I would always get blank stares. People couldn't comprehend the fact that I was able to set up a blog so easily and rake in cash, even when I was sleeping. I had to be lying or doing something illegal. Otherwise, everyone would be doing it! Although there's probably something here for anyone who wants to blog, the main focus of this book is how to blog focusing on your strong interests or area of expertise in a way that can be monetized. I found it helpful for many reasons, and would recommend it. In my opinion as well as in much of what the author says, it's important that the focus be on what you love, not just on making money with a blog. This is not a get-rich-quick scheme. But a knowledgeable content creator should be able to earn something for what they spend time on, so it's a reasonable course of action. The author has been doing what he writes about for years, learned from his mistakes, and has received a lot of attention in the business world for what he does. It's a worthwhile read for anyone thinking of blogging with a specific focus (rather than simply a personal blog).

I subtracted a star for the great number of typos, which I found annoying. But the content almost entirely made up for that, and it's a quick read with lots of suggested resources.
