Sure, this book was published as a shameless self-promotion of “Canada’s Store”, but it’s surprisingly entertaining. It provides a quick review of what Canadians were up to between the 1920’s and 1990’s - going off to war, moving to the suburbs, visiting Expo ‘67. Pages from old catalogues remind us about getting our first ice skates or bicycle. The book is a fun combination of nostalgia and Canadian Tire history. A couple of hours of reading time well spent.
