I give this a solid three only for two reasons: 1) there were some mechanics problems and editing errors; and, 2) IT NEEDED TO BE A NOVEL.
What Dave has here is a GREAT outline for a novel. The story is solid. The characters are solid. I wanted MORE.
Buy this little short. Read it. Then let Dave know what a gem he has and encourage him to make it into what it wants to be.
