I would have given it solid 5 stars if they made the epilogue several years later. Anyway, I love this book, I love the hero/villain of this book (my sister words not mine) and i love how the heroine or them deserved each other.

This one worked for me despite having H who weren't crazy rich ^^

This is the fifth installment in You can't resist a bad boy series from Layla Valentine, being a fan of her and the bodyguard themed romance, I was intrigued from the beginning of the book. This book could even capture the hearts of her non fans and new to the theme, this book has everything action, romance, deceit, realization, heart wrenching emotional moments, love and hot steamy scene. This is a complete page turner and goner. Though Tyler seemed to be selfish, he has a heartbreaking past and Paisley is really has a good nature for her celebrity status, when they are together their chemistry is super hot. I loved and enjoyed this book.

Holy smokes what an original story, a plot that I have not read before with a theme that’s been done before, a bodyguard and the one he protects...but not like this. Paisley is a singing star who doesn’t think she needs a bodyguard but Tyler gets to her in an unconventional way, making her realize that she does need one. Tyler needs money and after an incident he lets his friend convince him what he needs to do to make the money he desperately needs. His way of getting the money may not be right but what he wants to do with the money, makes it almost acceptable. One thing he forgot to factor in was Paisley, a sweet woman who is not a spoiled starlet, a compassionate woman who is not swept up with the glitz and glamour, a woman who captures his heart. Will he confess his intentions and will he be able to protect her from crazed fans?
An amazing read with steamy scenes and scenes that had my eyes misty, from his childhood, to the tragic incident, to his confessions, to him finding out about parents. The whole read had me feeling for both characters, what his deceit does to Paisley and Tyler a good man who made bad decisions.
Layla Valentine wrote a story that felt real, a story that flowed perfectly with some suspense and I LOVED the last few chapters where their life continued, getting to see what happens after in depth instead of an epilogue with a few paragraphs. The attraction and sparks fly off the pages along with all the other emotions from both of them, making me fall for Tyler & Paisley and making this my favorite read by this author so far.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. Wow! I really enjoyed this refreshing take on Paisley and Tyler's story. It wasn't the standard girl hires or is provided a bodyguard, girl falls for said bodyguard. Instead it is man needs money to help a friend he caused injury to, another friend talks him into gaining said money by basically blackmailing a woman who is in a vulnerable state. This could have gone so wrong. Paisley is indeed in need of protection from a stalker. Tyler is in need of money. He doesn't really agree with the plan his friend Dan has come up with. And her certainly didn't count on his feelings for Paisley to figure into it. This was such a great read. I loved the chemistry between Paisley and Tyler and how they started out by becoming friends and which helps Tyler to realize Paisley is not like other celebrities. I loved how he helped her with learning more self defense moves and how Paisley explained how she writes her music. This is a well written book and I was hooked from the beginning until the end. Great HEA! Can not wait to see what other wonderful stories Ms Valentine has coming our way.

I'll be honest and say that in the beginning I didn't like Tyler much, I found his decision off putting, even if he was trying to make a bad situation good. However he more than redeemed himself by protecting Paisley and how he was willing to always protect her even if he couldn't be with her - because he didn't think he deserved her.

I loved Paisley's reaction when she found out what he had done - you go girl! I also thought she was brave to offer him another chance and was so enlightened to understand that they would have to work through their past to have the future they both wanted.

Tyler and Paisley were so good together, they completed each other and 'Protect Me' went both ways in their relationship, especially with regards to his father and her manager. They didn't have things easy but their character development made their relationship so much better to read and enjoy.

A story about the characters Tyler and Paisley. The characters are very relatable and likeable. It is a very fast paced story but it suits it.
This story has a bit of everything. I like that. It is a romance love story and I liked it very much. Emotional and loving story. Tissues flying around at times.

Well written story with a nice storyline and plot. I like that the characters and how they develop. Especially Tyler develops a lot through the story. Paisley is a very strong woman and I like her actions. A passionate and emotional read with twists.

It is written in dual POV which gives the reader much more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. I like it has an epilogue to finish of the story in a better way. There is passion, hot scenes and lots of chemistry in this amazing story.

After his childhood, the only thing that Tyler knows is fighting. Paisley hit it big time for her singing career and now has a stalker. He's a bodyguard with nefarious plans. What happens when Paisley discovers the truth behind Tyler being her bodyguard? Will Tyler ever be able to prove that his heart is involved?

Have to say I was iffy about some of this book, but once I got to know Tyler that fell to the side. I was proud of him for making the decision to back out before it was to late. I didn't blame Paisley for her reaction, but was happy she saw under the facade he put up. Good read!

Fantastic story and a great sexy cover, this is the 1st time I’ve read and reviewed for Layla Valentine and I’m so glad I did. Wow what a story and it’s about Tyler and Paisley. Paisley is a musician that’s having a dry spell with her music and Tyler was a MMF fighter until he put a friend in the hospital. These two souls come together under different circumstances and end up in a HEA. What a fantastic read, steamy hot scenes great characters and storyline. I highly recommend this book it’s well worth the read.

What an interesting spin on the bodyguard/client storyline. Layla Valentine knows how to craft a tale that you just can’t put down. Great storyline; kickass characters; interesting emotional and physical conflicts; and a pretty neat HEA. While I don’t think this is one of the best books from Ms Valentine, it certainly is worth a read. I’d grab a copy as soon as possible. (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and found it to be a darn good read.) ❤️

I really enjoyed this story. What better way to show someone they need a bodyguard than to break into their house. That's how Tyler introduced himself to Paisley. The plot was unique. I was hooked from the very beginning. The story-line flowed smoothly throughout. I thought the drama could have built-up and lasted a little longer than it did. The characters were well-developed and easily relatable.

Tyler, what can I say about him? It can be real easy to dislike him in the beginning. His intentions with Paisley are definitely not honorable. However, keep reading. Don't give up on him. He and Paisley really are great together. I really liked them and was rooting for them to make it. I enjoyed this story.
