Mally has many secrets and she holds them tight to her chest.
Killing her molesting rapist of an uncle is a means to an end, and her plan almost works. She has the misfortune to be sent to the Manor, where all of her secrets are very quickly uncovered.
They include a medical condition that neither exonerates nor condemns her actions. The ethos of the Manor is such that they cannot, in good conscience, execute her for the crime she committed.

Now that my Kingdom Key series is complete, I am focusing on more books in the Gethis series. I have numerous books lined up for the next five years, plus whatever else my brain conjures up.
I will be continuing the Culpation League as well. I have at least two or three in mind, one of which corresponds to the last Kingdom Key book and the Peeper saga of my Gethis series.
I don't issue trigger warnings. If you have a trigger, assume I will hit it and make your decisions accordingly.
My characters do not always live happily ever after. Things aren't always finished with a nice, neat bow. Sometimes the ending is very messy indeed.

Another fantastic book from TylerRose.! I feel like my inner book nerd is showing by mentioning how excited I got while reading and saw tidbits about what's going to happen in the next Kingdom Keys book. There was some squeeing with excitement there.
This story felt quite different from the previous books, but it's not a bad thing or made the story any less enjoyable.
