Where your life will lead.
What kind of heart you'll have.

But I got away.
I started fresh.
I reshaped myself.
Only now, my past is catching up with me.
My demons have returned.
And they’re back with a vengeance.
The only protection I have is a Motorcycle Club.
I helped them. Now they’re helping me.
With a large hit on my head, I’m hustled into the mountains with one very broody, very angry, very gorgeous biker.
He has a mission. A secret bigger than even mine.
And he wants the blood of the monster after me.
He’s been assigned to protect me.
He gets on every nerve I have left.
The tension between us is high.
And we’re stuck alone.

I stopped reading at the 27% mark of the book. I cannot believe that the author keeps writing the same thing over and over again. Sure, we have flashbacks this time, but this is the third time I read how the hero f***ed another woman. This has become tiring and I am finally giving up on the series. From now on I will read only the non-MC books from this author. I know I had said in my review for the previous book that I wouldn't read this one, but I thought I should give it a chance since the main characters are supposed to be secluded and trying to hide from the people who are after the heroine. Hiding, you know. Not ordering women in order to get Koda's d**k wet. Do these people have no brain? They were supposed to hide and lay low on the radar of the people who put a 1 million bounty on the heroine's head, not calling the president of the club to send Koda a f**k-hole. I cannot believe that the author chose to write the same plot in three different books. And of course, the heroine had no problem with seeing the hero with another woman. Completely normal stuff in other words. I am so disappointed by Bella Jewel, I am even thinking of giving up all her books and it's a shame since I usually gave 4 stars to her books.

The second thing that bothered me were the flashbacks. We get to see the past of BOTH characters. Koda has flashbacks. The heroine's side of the story has flashbacks. I was half expecting to have flashbacks from my own life written in this book. There is no room for the main plotline to be developed. If you manage to finish the book please tell me how they worked out for you. I am done with the series and I am going to give one last chance to the author (by reading a non-MC book of hers) before I place her on my I-am-not-touching-another-book-by-them list.

My Valentine's day morning is ruined.

I think I need to read the previous 2 books to truly understand the story. Ok, I will make my review short.

Darkest Hour is MC romance story. With a dark theme, of course. The sex is not that steamy even though there is threesome. I need more chemistry between characters. More to make the romance steamy. The plot is also not thorough. It seems like Miss Jewel cutting corner of the plot and resolve too quickly.

Overall this is OK book. Just need some pitch/ kick in the story and characters.

What a book omg it is crazy from the very beginning. I 've luvd this series so far and this book was just had good. There are so many twists. I was dying to know more about Charlie after the way the last book ended. I knew she has been through hell but omg this woman has been to hell and back. From a young age she has done and seen things no lil girl should see and group up the way she did she knew it was never goin to get better until she got away. Now the threat is back and it's racing after her. The only thing is now she has the MC to protect her and has the best guy to protect her. The only thing is he hates her and she hates him. Koda isn't the easiest guy to get to know. He life has been kind to him either and he still has the death of his brother in his hands. There is one man that needs to pay for this and one guy that has made him live a life of hell this guy needs to to pay. The only thing is he can't tell the MC and Charlie just how close things are getting.

I would highly recommend this book. It is just brilliant from the start I couldn't get enough of it. Hot biker hot sexy time and a crazy story what more could you want. The story gets more twisted and the characters have to deal with so much crap it's scary. But I luv it and I m alway left wanting more. Again this book left me dying for the next book. I can't wait to see what else this MC had to deal with and see what's goin to happen with the rest of the guys.

2 ⭐⭐ - Meh!
=====================
Spoiler
.

.

Again our heroine sees him fucking another woman. In each book in the series always happens the same and the women are beaten by the villain.

“It’s the little things in life, Koda, that make people feel good. With good always comes bad. I’ll take the bad, in this case. Because that made me feel so damned good.”

“Don’t give a fuck who it is, so long as she’s got a useable pussy.” Malakai snorts. “Harsh, brother.” “Like you haven’t had the exact thought,” I grunt. “Too right. I’ll send her up.”

Definitely female, definitely a pleasure moan. Has Koda got someone here?

I have a clear view of the girl on the couch, sprawled on it, legs spread, back arching. She’s blond, pretty by the looks. Incredible body. Big boobs, slim waist, pretty pink pussy. She’s any man’s dream, no doubt. Koda is sitting, sort of half turned, right between her legs. He’s shirtless, but he’s still wearing a pair of cotton shorts that are bulging from his no doubt hard cock.

I glance at his body, and my mouth waters, just a little.

Koda thrusts, the girl whimpers, and I close my eyes for a second, so close my body is trembling. My fingers work harder, and I can hear her crying out as he fills her. Oh, God. My eyes flutter open and meet the most incredible honey-colored eyes I’ve ever seen.

Koda holds my eyes. But he doesn’t stop. He fucks her hard, hands on her hips, slamming into her.

She watched me last night fucking Sugar.

“First of fuckin’ all, don’t ever make out like I’d stray from my job over pussy. And that’s all she is, just pussy. I wouldn’t, not for a single fuckin’ second. Second of all, told you, it was a bit of fun. Not goin’ to let it get in the way. But if it makes you happy, I’ll get pussy from somewhere else from now on. As I said, it’s all the same to me.”

I fuckin’ let you down. I’ll never forgive myself for this.

This is one angry hero... determined on revenge for the loss of his twin brother. Then we have one abused heroine who has come out the other end a smart, fiesty gal. Some readers were put off by hero having sex with another woman, but in the context i think it was fine. Also need to know there is a MMF scene and it is hot as hell. This is on the dark side so be warned, it’s not for everyone.
This was another winner in this series and I need more.

“Everyone has something in their past that bothers them. Everyone. The problem is, it either guides your path and makes you a better person, or it puts cracks in it, and makes you trip your way along.”

Darkest Hour is the 3rd installment of the Iron Fury MC.
We now have Charlie and Koda as they journey to get their revenge and freedom.
I wasn't a big fan of Koda. I never really like how he treated Charlie but I like Charlie. She was very strong, having gone through what she did as a child.
Let’s also not forget the similarities of Darkest Hour to the first 2 books in the series. Why oh why can’t they listen to the women first😓, all the three books has this same scenario. Its like they didn’t even learn from what happened with Scarlett and Amalie 😒.

I also felt that the ending was rushed but the story was still interesting enough for me to keep going. Hopefully we'll see some changes in Mason's story 😊

i haven't read any of the previous books in this series before reading Darkest Hour - did that have an impact on my reading experience? According to some reviews that i've perused, apparently so. But at the same time, i can't help but feel that there are some parts that i haven't gotten a chance to truly experience, such as how Treyton treated Charlie when he had her and what happened. At the same time, i'm curious to find out Scarlett's story and how she became involved with the Iron Fury MC.

All these have made me very curious and at the same time, i'm not left with that huge gap in the storyline in trying to figure out the who, what, where and when. It's really all there as you read along. I started this book in the afternoon and finished it before going to bed, unable to look away or even put the book down all day (yes, one of my many indulgences on sunday afternoons - just reading in between finishing the laundry and watching cheesy movies on tv).

Any ways!! For an MC genre novel, it was pretty much exactly what i've been seeing lately and what i personally enjoy - a group of rough men who are probably more damaged than anything else and the women who are able to meet them face to face and support them, while still having the badass attitude that goes with it. Koda was the man - the one that you have to watch out for. He may be the butthole that Charlie accuses him of being, but he really does grow on you while Charlie, even with all her trust issues and having been raised the way she has, she's fiercely loyal and i wouldn't want to get on to her bad side!

Personally, i enjoyed this book and can only hope that the previous books are just as interesting- i'll be reading them in the future if nothing else than to satisfy my burning curiosity!

Another great read for us I have to say we are loving this authors books.I will say that this story is not for the faint of heart as the story contains strong violence, abuse and rape as long as murder and is very graphic with the details of those things making the book more gripping and having you glued to the pages as I wanted revenge for all these misdeeds right along with Koda and Charlie.

The story was heart wrenching as both Koda and Charlie have been left broken because of this man's evil deeds they both know him as Shanks who also turned out to be Charlie's father .As I kept reading and learned all that Charlie suffered and had gone through it was enough to leave your heart aching for her.I honestly don't know how she survived such brutally but ,though it all as bad as it was it just made her a survivor.

I need to go back to the beginning and read how Charlie actually got hooked up with this MC but , I get the gist that she did a good deed and now she has their protection at her back.Oh man these men are bunch of hot bad-asse's. They all are just so yummy...

I always pick a favorite character in the story I am reading and this time around mine is going to be Charlie.I loved Charlie from the onset this women was a bad-ass in her own right.Charlie was a loner with a tortured soul but, she had the capacity to love with one wholes heart whether with the friendships she forged or the man she desired.Charlie surprised me the most as I was amazed that her brutal life did not rob her of the capacity to love her childhood did not break her after all.I loved the camaraderie she had with the women in the MC as it was the only time she let herself go and enjoy life and that we got to see to her laugh and be happy even if they were stolen moments in time.
I loved that she was strong, loving, smart, feisty, had a smart mouth, had a sense of humor and was sexy and a backbone made of steel.I loved the chemistry her and Koda created even though he fought it most of the time. Koda & Charlie had a love hate relationship but, my thought from the onset of their attraction to one another is that they were just to alike and lived in constant pain and regrets. Koda and Charlie definitely had heat and sparks between them and then throw Mason into the mix and things were even hotter.

Koda, Omg! loved this bruting broken man from the onset of the story. You felt the pain this man lived in and his constant regrets at not being able to save his twin brother. It hurts even more when that brother is your own twin and your connected to them in ways others can't understand. The more I read about him the only thing I wanted to do is just go up and hug this man and console and inconsolable man.On the other hand I wanted to smack him more than once for his treatment toward Charlie especially knowing somewhat of what she suffered at the hands at that monster they call her father.I just wanted more than once to tell him to wake up before its to late Charlie can heal you and you her.

We loved it from cover to cover. The story had you engrossed from the first few pages as the story was dark with danger lurking at every corner and held a great cast of characters for you to love.I love a story when two broken souls find one another and by loving each other put you on a path of healing and letting go of old ghosts and letting go of all those horrible things that kept you in the dark for so long and giving you a chance for happiness.

I am so looking forward to this series as it continues and will be reading the others in this series I missed.

5 stars from us

Personal note: Be sure to check out this authors other MC series if you liked them dark and dangerous, gritty, with hot men with sexual appetites that are hard and foul mouthed but, hotter then hell!

I was given an ARC of this book, I was excited to read this because I really enjoyed the first book in the series, Whiskey Burning.

I soon realized my error when I started reading that I should have bought the 2nd book in the series, Hushed Torment, since the storyline starts there between Charlie and Koda. I still continued to read the story regardless of this fact, I will say it was hard to put it down because I wanted to know what was going to happen to Charlie and who was trying to harm her. I always enjoy books that have the past and present in them, so you get to understand a little more as to why people turn out the way they do. I would have thought after reading Charlie's story that she would be a bit more jaded and rough around the edges, but she definitely was defiant and never let anyone speak to her the wrong way without her saying her giving them a piece of her mind as well.

As for Koda I thought that his history was sad and a very realistic one that many people deal with when they are trying to help a love one combat an addiction, my heart truly broke for him when he witnessed his brother's death and just could not imagine being left with your only family member while they rotted to death.

I enjoyed the banter between Koda and Charlie, the sexual tension that was building between them was hilarious, Bella really tends to write on the more grittier darker side of the MC world, even when she is writing sex scenes. These scenes are definitely not for the faint of heart and you have to keep an open mind when it comes to the courtship of these couples.

I liked that Koda and Charlie's past were connected, that their relationship was rooted from being tied to the same monster that haunts them both, it made their bond something more deeper than just lust.

A few things I didn't like, Koda's brother being a twin, we already have twins in this series so lets not overkill that theme. The constant use of the line in this series "i'll make you wish you were never born," retire that line please, we need to work on better onliner threats that will really instill fear in the bad guys, and the consistent kidnapping and beating up of the women in this series...why can't the men go through a little roughing up.

I am not sure if I will continue to read the series, there really isn't another person in the series that I am interested in getting to know their history or storyline.

Another great addition to Bella Jewels Iron Fury MC series. This is book 3 in the series and is all about Dakoda (aka Koda) and Charlies story.

Koda is VP of Iron Fury MC and he hates the whole world and seems angry all the time. Koda is given the job of hiding and protecting Charlie who now has a million dollar hit on her head. Koda isn't happy about but actually finds it amusing that Charlie is in total disagreement with the idea and is begging for someone else. What Charlie doesn't know though is that Koda has a secret that is going to shock her to the core and put her in more danger so he know's he needs to step up and protect her with everything he has, what he didn't consider though is that he might actually fall for the girl.

Bella Jewel is one of my go to authors, she writes the type of books where you can read them a thousand times and not get bored and this one is up there with the rest of them.

As usual its action packed, Alpha hot and has plenty of angst to sink your teeth into. I really hope Slater is next as I think someone from the opposing side would mix things up a bit.

Obviously not much worked for me here. Again, I think there was potential but nothing delivered.

A - I don't even know why the MCs liked each other. I couldn't buy into it.
B - As much as I love smut - there were just unnecessary scenes that didn't add anything. They seemed to be just there for shock value, but like don't force it.
C - Dual POVs with dual past telling too. It was just a lot.
D - While the actual plot line itself could've been good, IDK, it also felt a little detached. Maybe because there were too many things happening.
E - Then my least favorite thing happens! You can usually bring me back with some kind of HEA, but nah. You get barely a happy for now and get left on a bit of a story arc cliffy.

I remember really enjoying another one of her MC series. (All 3-4 stars) So I stuck this out hoping to find some redeeming qualities to the story, but I didn't find much. Happy reading, though.

I had high hopes for this book but was left a bit disappointed. It seems to be a theme with this author for the hero to have OW in these books. The fact it happened in this book in front of the h and she had no qualms with it just struck me as so wrong. I have a hard time coming back from those scenarios, especially when sharing takes place with other characters in the book. Charlie was keeping a big secret and, in the end, so was Koda. They are both so gruff and hard that it was hard to feel much for them. They both had difficult pasts and had horrific things happen to them and those that they loved, but I had a hard time believing they suddenly were "it" for each other. Charlie was all over the place for me. I had a hard time getting a handle on who she was and what she wanted out of life. Koda wasn't much better either. The plot was interesting at points, but it got a bit ridiculous at other times.

**** ********** SPOILER ALERT ****************

Seriously, what's going on? Once again, the heroine is upset and runs straight into danger and gets beaten to a pulp. Given this is the third book in the series and the same thing happened in the previous books, I'm guessing the rest of the series will be the same. In addition to the lack of creativity, the characters are utterly immature and emotionally unstable.

I enjoy reading dark and gritty stories and have enjoyed Bella Jewel's books. I believed Iron Fury MC would be an enjoyable read. Despite not liking the first two books, I decided to continue with the series. Sadly, the series is too predictable and dark components, tasteless. The heroin's father sets her daughter to get beaten, violated and called her body plump. Absolutely disgusting! Straight-up gross.

I didn't bother finishing the reset.

Bella Jewel has a format and it works. admittedly these stories will not work for everyone as the triggers for abuse and assault are many but those who can read this type of story and see it as a testament to the strength and courage of survivors will definitely enjoy this series. her men are rough, crude and coarse but when they finally accept love they fall hard and offer everything of themselves with their whole hearts. the women are strong .. very strong .. they are sassy and sexy, giving and supporting and the backbone of their men. great reading ... great writing. very much looking forward to the next in the series

I'm loving it!!

The romance is hot but it takes a back seat to all the drama and I love it!!!
I can't wait for the next one, it's like a soap opera trying to figure out what's going to be next for these bikers.
Plain and simple... Koda is brooding jerk with a past that's haunting him... super hot though. Charlie is a tortured soul who is bad@$$. And the Darkest hour is intense drama!!! onto the next one!

So good

This was so good. Got so caught up somehow it’s 1 am. Loved these characters. I can’t wait to see if Slater finds his Ellie. This is exciting, lots of drama, a bit violent (just in case it becomes a trigger for some), very sexy-hot, really interesting story. Can’t wait for book 4

I loved Charlie and Koda's story. Looking forward to seeing whose story is next. Even as broken as she was, Charlie was strong and resilient, with a beautiful soul. And Koda, no matter how hard he tried, couldn't hide his true self. He couldn't keep his beautiful heart from shining through.

Suspense & romance

Oh my, so much happening with the Iron Fury MC, everyone is out for revenge to hunt down the big boss deadlier, who happens to be Charlie’s father—but he’s a terrifying sadistic monster. Dakota, hides and protects her, both are stubborn & brash, hot loving, revenge and a HEA.

Title: Darkest Hour
Author: Bella Jewel
Genre: Contemporary Romance, Suspense
Series or Standalone: Standalone Series (Iron Fury MC #3)
Rating: ★★★1/2 Stars (Rounded to 4* for Goodreads and Amazon)

description

I'm going through a reading funk of some kind lately, so what you're seeing above in terms of rating, should be taken with a grain of salt and a knowledge of that.
But, starting things off, let's hit on the things that this book, along with the others in the series and previous books by the author always seem to do write for this particular reader.
Pacing. These books are always very well paced. Quick, but not overly speedy. The pack the right amount of punch, be it an emotional punch or suspenseful punch, every single time. Which goes hand in hand with the second thing I absolutely love about this author.
Writing style. Each character voice is unique, and eluding to the above comment, they all pack a different punch that moves the story along quite well. I adore the author's voice (her writing style) as much as I do the characters and I really hope that while the stories, situations, and characters will all change, this won't.
The suspense. Especially when it pertains to the MC related books, I do so enjoy the way the author works suspense into her stories and this one is no exception. The big bad, so to speak, it's always something different, also with varying degrees of severity, both bodily speaking and emotionally speaking and I always in this regard especially find myself on the edge of my seat, wondering if it does work out or not in the end.
So, the only other thing left to talk about in this review is what I couldn't connect to. What set this one apart from one's for me before it. And as stated above, this is a personal thing and I'm pretty sure its because I'm become overloaded with the influx of these styles of stories as of late and am experiencing burnout, but, I couldn't connect to the couple here.
Singularly as characters, I understood them, so the back in time stuff was phenomenally done in that regard because it made me connect with some of their demons as well as who they became as they aged. But as a couple, this one didn't hit me the way previous books in the series have and I'm bummed it didn't.
It has the steam level, it had a love-hate vibe to it at times, a push and pull kind of thing where nothing between the two happened right away, but even with all of that, it just didn't hit the mark for me.
Would I recommend this story? Of course. I think just based on everything at the top of this review, what I enjoy about this author, it's a solid read, one that the author should be proud of. I just hate that I couldn't get into it more than I did.

“You know how it feels to go through life never feelin’ fuckin’ joy because you know the feelin’ of darkness so well it becomes you.”

Darkest Hour is the third novel in the Iron Fury MC and picks up the plot line from where we were left with our mouths hanging open. Kodak is taking Charlie to seclusion for her own safety, she has a price on her head and everyone is looking for her. Why and who is she? The club owes her and have sworn to protect her, with a mutual interest in taking down a common enemy Koda finds himself being crushed under the weight of the past as his demons dance with hers. Secrets haunt them but the here and now threatens to rip their world apart. Can they slay the monster? Will they ever be free?

This is a gripping edge of your seat read that never lets the tension relax. On the run always living in fear Charlie is strong yet hides her hurt that is festering deep inside. Raised by a monster she fears she too is a monster and is willing to do anything necessary to take him down. Desperately afraid she turns to the MC for protection and support, finally finding somewhere she wants to call home. Through flashbacks we relive her tormented childhood and exorcise her ghosts. As she opens up to the MC her need to end things once and for all burns bright.

Koda is a hard man, debated by the loss of his brother he had sworn to end the man responsible for his death. His secrets are dangerous but his pain is too raw to share the truth. Flashbacks also reveal his suffering and show how he was molded into the man he is. Sworn to protect Charlie he is motivated by his own desires and can’t see past his own pain. Two peas from the same pod they are both drawn to each other’s strength and can identify with the darkness they each hold. Together they burn brighter and relieve the pressure they both feel.

I really enjoyed this story and can’t wait for the next in the series. I thought the threesome scene was incredibly hot and although the scene with the club whore was a little aggravating as why can’t these men just admit their feelings and not sleep around before they wise up, I understand that the characters nature’s mean that they do dumb shit before seeing sense! And hey she got to have a night with two not one...I think that’s fair enough! Girl power!!! Rant over. Other than that I really enjoyed the writing style, character development and plot line. I can’t wait to see where we are taken next as there is so much more to explore. A fantastic series.

A five star holy hell that was hot read.

I received a copy of this book for an honest review.

Bella did it again she had me flipping these pages like they were on fire. I could not put this down.

Charlie did not have a wonderful loving childhood. Losing her mother at a young age and having the devil for a father had her trusting no one. She is now running scared from her past. After she helped Iron Fury they agree to protect her. Only problem is they assign Koda to protect her. These two are like oil and water both stubborn, strong, and refuse to let someone in.

Koda is the VP of Iron Fury MC and a brooding man who seems angry at the world. He finds himself the protector of Charlie. Both Koda and Charlie are hiding secrets from their past. Can they survive what is coming after them?

This is an action packed fast pace book that sucked me in and wouldn't let me go. I had to know what was going to happen next at every turn of the page. My heart hurt for everything Charlie went through and for Koda's past. I loved how strong Charlie was after everything she endured she could have broken her but she refused to give in and give up. Love how Charlie stood her ground with Koda. The tension between Koda and Charlie was unbelievable. Could Mason and Koda make a scene any hotter? I cannot wait to read who is next. I am so ready for the next one already.

I am so addicted to reading books about bad ass bikers. I absolutely love to read them. Each and every time I get one I can not wait to put down everything else and read all night long.

Charlie has had anything but a good life. Being raised by a total jerk I myself do not know how she could even be a decent person after enduring all that she has. It's crazy that she has a heart but she does. Things start looking good for her for a short time and then here comes the bad stuff. She finds herself under the care of a biker. He has been assigned the job of taking care of her and he is to say the least not happy about it.

They are out in the wilderness hiding out. She can not stand him and he can not stand her. Even though they don't like each other there is an attraction in the air. You know how it is, they just hate each other, but at times they start looking really good to you.

Koda and Charlie have both had such an awful past you will find yourself wanting them to find happiness in each other. The thing is, Koda is keeping something from Charlie. Will he finally tell her? Will she forgive him? Will she trust him to take care of the monster that has given her so much hell.

I look forward to reading the next book in the series. Bella Jewell will no doubt amaze us with the next one. Thanks Bella for another wonderful read.

Koda just doesn't like answering questions, “I’m going to get effin’ fire wood, around the corner. Unless someone is hidin’ in the effin’ woods, ready to jump out, you’re fine.” Koda says the sweetest things, “Thinkin’ about effin’ you again,” I murmur, turning and pressing my face into her hair." I loved this book, and I can't wait to see whose next!

4.5 stars!

I recently read the first two books in this series for this book releasing! The release of this book was then pushed back, so I had a few weeks to wait for it lol! I grabbed a copy as soon as it did release and I made it my next read as soon as I could! After reading, I can say that I l loved this book! It picked up pretty much from where the second book left off from and it developed at the perfect pace! It only took me a few sittings to read too, even though I tried to take my time reading it lol! The sexual tension in the plot between the two main characters also leaked off the pages and there were some seriously hot scenes in the plot too! There was one seriously hot scene I really wasn't expecting lol! There was also a bit of action and suspense in the plot and these scenes added a lot and made the plot more interesting! It was sort of the big scene that I'd been waiting for since the beginning, but I can see more big action scenes as this series progresses! The characters were also amazing and made this book even better! Charlie was the main female character, and she was either in the first and second book in this series or just the second book! She was very mysterious in the other books she was in, so I couldn't wait to find out her secret! Charlie's secret wasn't what I was expecting, but she was in serious danger and had been through a lot in her life! My heart completely went out to her, but Charlie was a fighter and she had come a long way! Koda was the main male character and love interest of Charlie! Koda was a pretty important character in the other books in this series, so I couldn't wait to read his story! I loved him in this book and he was seriously hot! Koda was also such a brooding and angry character in this book and I could completely understand why after I read his backstory! I felt so sorry for him because he had been through a traumatic situation and lost someone very important to him! Koda came a long way in this book though and he did get the revenge that he so desperately wanted! I loved that this book was written from both Charlie and Koda's point of views! I was hoping that it was going to be because the other books in this series were written from both characters point of views, so I'm really happy that this book was too, even though the synopsis doesn't give anything away about whose point of view it's going to be written by lol! This helped me connect and understand Charlie and Koda more, especially as they had both been through a lot and were dealing with their own problems! I also can’t wait to read the next book in this series! I'm not sure who the main male character is going to be in the next book, but I can't wait to find out and read it once it releases! It says that the next book is releasing in April, but I can maybe see that being pushed back because this book was! I definitely don't mind waiting a bit longer for it lol! I really hope that all the characters from the first three books make appearances in it too! I also love the cover for this book! It suits the feel of the book and the relationship between Charlie and Koda!

First of all, I liked Koda, he was mysterious and he had demons that he had to slay. Charlie we met in the previous book and she helped out the club in a big way and now they have her back. I liked Charlie too but that anger was too much at times, but I get it because her life hasn't been easy and she has a bounty on her head. Her and Koda hate each other, from the moment they meet they are bumping heads. They go up in a cabin in the woods to hide out and they are at each other's throats the whole time. But Charlie made some stupid ass mistakes, for someone who's been on the run most of her life and is familiar in the underground world, why is your phone on so you could be located? Why aren't you giving the people trying to help you info so they aren't sitting ducks? The scene with her, Koda and Mason was hot as hell and her and Koda should have gotten it on a while back. I felt so bad for Koda when I read about his past and what happened to his brother and he has all the right to want to seek revenge and Charlie had no right to get upset when she pieced everything together. The chick runs away knowing that people are after her, how dumb can you be! I'm very curious about Slater and Ellie and I hope things work out for them. As for Charlie and Koda, they got to slay their monster.

Ok how to put this politely...

You fricken *insert more bad words here* tore my heart out, smashed it around like a ball on a football field only to somehow put it back together again by the ending. My heart broke for both Koda and Charlie, damn it there was a snotty nose and ugly tears, second time this week for that one. Not happy Jan! (Um that’s an Aussie saying so most won’t understand it but the Not Happy bit is fact) As with the previous books, I was dragged kicking and screaming (actually it was couldn’t wait to get my greedy little hands on it but hey it sounded better) straight into the book from page 1 and there was no way I could put it down until I saw those two final words... The End. For those who haven’t read the series, you have to, no if’s or buts about it. Darkest Hour can’t be read without them, it ties up questions and clues in the storyline of the series. Keep this up and your gonna kill me by the time you finish the Iron Fist MC series, love your work Bella!!!
