A perfect end to this amazing series! I loved it !
There are some books that just captures your attention from the moment you begin the journey and continues to retain it without leaving its charm even for a second, and it’s very hard to comes across a series which retains and continues to raise the bar with each part & keeps the readers captivated throughout at a consistent pace and not letting you want to put it down, this series is one of those. It is totally captivating and exhilarating journey with a perfect blend of both American & Indian culture. It was truly a beautiful melding pot of east & west . The story retained its charm & it’s aura of suspense, mystery throughout the series and let’s not forget the undeniable chemistry between the two main protagonists Nick and Sameera keeps the page turning and turning.
There are some fictional characters grow on eventually as you read the story but they are hardly any characters I recall reading who have captured my attention just by the way they were introduced in the story and left an impact & impression. Nick entry in the story is by far my favorite scene in the story, I have been guilty of going back and reading that scene couple of times.
Nick & Meera characters grew & matured with each book and their relationship became stronger . When we were first introduced to Nick & Meera in Destiny Decided they were high school best friends in India and met after a long gap , Nick captured not only Meera’s heart but even the readers heart by how he had kept Meera in his heart in all the years they had been apart & when they eventually met Meera was his universe . He was not only a good friend, but a good brother & son too . In the second book we read how these two continued to get closer & their bond getting stronger after they were married and finally in the last part of this series, Nick and Meera have become parents and we can see how these two have matured and their bond has grown stronger over the years. The mystery of the past & what really happened to Rajaram is finally unveiled in the story, no loose ends or loopholes were left and everything tied up beautifully. And I just loved the epilogue and the beautiful way story ended, it left me craving for me .
There are some fictional characters that are not perfect yet you wish they were not fictional but a real person, Nick’s character is one of them . He totally floored me with his loyalty, charm , care & love for Meera . Not only was he a good friend/ husband but he is a perfect & loving father too. He was just phenomenal and a perfect package. He and Meera were just perfect for each other.
It was an spectacular heartwarming storyline that ignited your fingers to keep turning the pages . From beautiful & vivid descriptions to emotions that were real and heartfelt , the characters were relatable and well developed, this series had everything well planned and well written. This series is definitely a must read!
Some stories & their characters even after they end stay with you for a very long time, you feel connected to them as if you have known them . Definitely this story is one of them. I wish this was not the end of Nick & Meera’s beautiful journey, may I dare to wish PG will write a another book in this series perhaps on Neel 😉 #onecankeephoping
Hats off to PG Van for continuously retaining the interest and keeping the readers intrigued and constantly raising the bar with each book in the series . You are truly talented. Can’t wait to read what you will write next .
